Phil Blask is the owner. He is extremely rude. Does not warranty his work and when you have a problem he blames it on my house then tells me there is probably a snake in my downspout. He interrupts while trying to explain the problem and yells stop interrupting me!! He also informed me that water goes downhill. I would never, ever use or recommend him. The last he said about a week ago was "send pictures" I sent pictures and he ghosted me. read more

Very disappointed with the company, customer service and workmanship. I called to let the company know I wanted to go with them after their quote. That was on a Monday. Friday morning my wife calls me to say that they are here. What happened to the phone conversation where you told me your were ordering the gutters and would let me know when you would be out? Fine. After the big rain storm we had last week/weekend, I noticed a section of screen/filter that popped off the gutter. I walked around my house noticing numerous areas where the leaf screens were either raised or bulging. I took pictures like you asked. Its been 4 days now and not a peep. Buyer be ware. I dont have any gutters on my house and decided to call for an estimate. I was told by this contractor to go get other estimates and send him the cheapest, and he would give me a 7% discount. Ummm no. You need to come to my house and give me an estimate; see what the job entails and meet your customer. He tried to splain it to me again but i hung up on him and blocked his number. If I could give them no stars I would. I had the company come out 2 weeks ago to give me a quote, and I informed them I would like to proceed and install gutters. Fast forward 2 weeks later and not a single phone call or follow up has come, no gutters! I contact the company again only for them to tell the "boss" said their quote was "too low" and they would not be fulfilling the order?! Yes- The quote that they provided me is now too low and they will not fulfill the order! Mind is blown but after reading other reviews I think this is a favor in the end. Terrible service. Claims to have a lifetime guarantee but wanted $375.00 upfront to fix gutters. Phil Blask previously told me it was $2.75 a foot. What a complete joke. Also, company website states lifetime guarantee. Obviously not as mine were installed a year ago and are already leaking on the downspout. This guy and company are a conplete joke. No stars! Beware! Never use this business! Our property manager contracted Seamless gutters to put guttering on our property in S.A in 2018. In addition to the gutter install, we also had landscaping done to mitigate foundation damage due to water. Now 3 years later the grading has washed away, we have wood rot and just had to have major foundation work done because of water damage. There is evidence that the gutters are overflowing and the downpipes are not directing water far enough away from the foundation. We have recently been advised by the foundation company representative and another guttering company that the guttering installed by Seamless Gutters was inadequate in that it was too narrow and needed more downpipes. According to the information in the Seamless Gutters quote documentation, on page 3 it says: "Gutters will eliminate foundation, garden and roof run-off damage" Seamless Gutters CREATED foundation, garden and roof run-off damage to our property! Furthermore, when our property management contacted Phil Blask and kindly asked him to look at the guttering so that he could see evidence of the problems himself and perhaps rectify them, he was incredibly rude to her and refused to come out to inspect his own shoddy work unless we paid him a consultation fee of more than $1,500. In the space of 1 month, we have had to fork out over $17,000 in repairs and another $3,500 to replace and repair the initial Seamless Gutters install. We are reporting Seamless Gutters to the Attorney General and The Better Business Bureau. read more

Does stand behind its warranty. Had issues with a specific area. Called and left a message, no return call. Called again and someone answered. He wanted to take pictures and send to him. I did, and then he says, well did you remove the down spouts? Did you run anything through it to see if it was clogged. I did run a wire through the bottom and came out on top. He said that was impossible to do. So now he's calling me a liar. Bottom line we went back and forth and got nowhere with this person. They DO NOT back their warranty. Word of mouth will get around. Left off an entire 6ft section of gutter. Says it wasn't on the drawing. Refused to come back and finish it. I offered to pay for the misunderstanding. The he says it'll be $400 minimum. After I've already spent $1400 on a full set?. Phil Blask is the owner and says all his installers and his salesman (Steve) are just sub-contractors and not his employees so he is not responsible for their mistakes. Worst customer service experience I've ever had. I do not know how this guy is still in business. I should have checked this guy's star ratings before hand. A lot of unhappy people on here. I wanted an estimate. Someone called me to get my information and told me that if I wasn't interested in doing my whole house that they arent interested in giving me a quote. They have 20 crews working around San Antonio and anything less than w whole house job wasn't worth their time. Sorry I wasted YOUR time trying to give you MY money. I called and left a mesage and to his credit, Phil did show up the next day, although I had NO idea he was coming by. Just showed up banging on the door at 9 in the morning. I'm lucky it just so happened to be my day off. His first question was in disbelief "Are you sure it was our gutters?" Then after I showed him the invoice, he immediately says they were full of leaves and its not a warranty issue. I explained that this is impossible because not only is there no trees over hanging my roof, I inspected them 2 months prior and they were clear of debris. He then shifted the blame to my neighbor for not trimming his tree back enough.Again, the tree did not overhang my property. Bottom line he refused to rectify the situation causing me to call another company to repair his damage. Even the new company said that whoever installed the previous gutters did it incorrectly with sub standard materials and hung them in the wrong place and that the failure was due solely to incorrect and faulty workmanship. I am trying to negotiate additional down spouts to handle the standing water that remains in the gutters for weeks. He is not responsive. Let me know if you would like to see photos. Phil Blask is attentive and he addresses every question or concern you have. He will personally handle any of your issues as the owner. This is really great.The crew that did the work was professional and efficient. I had one issue, I accepted the estimate that was provided to me, but I never scheduled the work. The crew just showed and started working while I was not home. At this point there wasn't much option, but to pay. This was the second occurrence. The first I was home I turned them away because I did not authorize the work to begin. Beware if you schedule the service through a company called guttermaxx, the salesman will just place an order without your authorization. I would recommend not even signing the "free" estimate until you're sure you want the gutters. No where on the sheet does it obligate you to commit to the work. read more

Got gutters in Dec. 2014 from CSG, based on the quote and information on the paperwork (lifetime labor guarantee, 50 year material guarantee, 5" alcoa aluminum gutter, eliminate foundation, garden and roof run-off damage, gutters will not leak, if you are unsatisfied for any reason, we have so many crews on hand, that we can solve problems faster than another company with only one or two crews) I decided to move forward. In March I still had garden damage from the roof. I contacted the owner Phil Blask on Tuesday, 3/17 and had to text him pictures of where the damage was coming from where the gutters were installed and a picture of my yard. No one came out to my house to physically inspect or provide support. Spoke that afternoon and found out that CSG doesn't remove flashing from the roof due to liability purposes. So essentially gutters were installed on my house to stop the garden erosion from the roof run off but after they were installed found out they can't/won't remove flashing due to liability. So since they refused to take action, my husband used a pair of metal cutters to cut the flashing so hopefully it would send the water into the gutters vs. over the edge. On Saturday, 5/23 contacted Phil Blask to advise gutters were still not working properly. Water was actually dripping between where the gutters were installed and the wood. Contacted Phil Blask again on Wednesday, 5/27 to find out what date and time he would be able to come and fix the gutters. Contacted Phil Blask again on Monday, 6/1 to find out when gutters can be reviewed. had to text additional pictures of the problems occurring with the gutters. Then he suggested to ensure the gutters and down spout were not clogged. I got a ladder that afternoon and there was absolutely no clogs. I called on 6/2 to advise there were no clogs and requested someone to come to review the problems. On 6/9 CSG shows up at my house, luckily I was at home getting ready for work, however there was no advance contact made to advise of when they would be stopping by my house. Found out the gutters were installed on the facia board instead of the drip edge where the garden drainage issues were occurring since they were "not able" to remove the flashing, it had to be done that way. I advised we cut the flashing and want the gutters moved to the drip edge. The workers advised the problem would still occur since shingles were not put on correctly. I also requested wedges to be put in since they were not put in previously. I was advised that I had to contact their boss and I should have known to request that up front. I contacted Phil and requested wedges, and he demanded that I give the phone to his workers. I advised I was getting ready for work and I don't have time to go and give my phone to them. He started yelling at me and said that this is the easiest way to get in touch with them since he wasn't sure they would be able to get their phone, and how was he supposed to help, then he disconnected. Phil called me back a few minutes later and advised that wedges are not an option and wanted to continue to explain why I would still have drainage issues with my garden. I disconnected at that point then got a text a few minutes later asking for my email so he could draw a picture of what is happening that way I will know. He is just to trying to help. I do not recommend using this company based on my past experience. read more
