Peach Design responded quickly online and came the next day to give a quote in person. After agreeing to go with their company on Friday, they started the flooring the following Tuesday and finished it the next day (Wednesday). They communicated clearly, were responsive to our questions, and were very professional. The LVT they recommended was commercial grade which was much thicker and sturdier than what we previously had. The quote they gave was comparable to others but the reason we chose them was they noticed that there was a concern about our existing floor not being level which they planned to address during their install. Our new floors look and feel great! We would highly recommend Michael and his team!

After getting 2 quotes from other hardwood installers and not feeling comfortable with either (one…read moretoo high and one with lots of red flags), I found Atlanta Floor Store. Their knowledge and professionalism were apparent from my first meeting with them and their quote was right in the middle of the other two. They demo'd my existing floors (carpet and ceramic tile), replaced the existing subflooring with new plywood subflooring, and installed, stained and finished the hardwoods in my living room, dining room, den, foyer and front hall as well as in the upstairs hallway, all while we were living in the house. It was a challenging job, with substantial differences in floor elevations between rooms, but they expertly leveled them and made the transitions between new floors and old floors smooth so that there was no need for raised transitions at doorways that would create tripping hazards. Josh very patiently answered all my questions about hardwood species, finish options, acclimating the wood before installation, the demo and installation process, and more and clearly explained how they would address all of the issues. He and his team were great at scheduling and communicating, showed up when they said they would, and finished ahead of schedule with no suprises when it came to paying for the work. Josh stayed involved throughout the project to ensure that all my concerns were addressed. He and his team were true professionals and made customer satisfaction their top priority. He was also flexible in additional requests we had along the way (like asking for a final glossy coat to finish the wood floors). I was originally going to replace carpet with LVP but found wood floors under the carpet! We chose to have the wood floors refinished and stained and they turned out fantastic! It looks like a completely new space. The job was scheduled within a few days and was completed on schedule. Included (for a fee) in the quote was assistance putting furniture back in the room which was helpful. I'd contact Antoine again for future flooring needs.

My expectations might have been too high because of all the great reviews. My experience was good,…read morebut not excellent. Let's start with the good - he did get most of the stains out and did a great job tightening up our carpet. He was also on time and easy to communicate with. The not-so-good: the main thing that irked me was that he put our furniture on top of our other furniture. This includes an air purifier that was on the dirty floor of our bedroom which was moved to be on top of our clean bed. He also put our tables on top of our couches. Not the cleanest method to clean. When I've hired Stanley Steamer before they come with 2 guys who move all the heavy furniture around and place everything on these pad-looking things. They never put things on top of things. They also ask you to move the smaller things out of the way. Also, he also wasn't able to get out of a couple of minor stains. I'd say he was about as expensive as Stanley Steamer, but not as effective. All and all, he was a nice guy but his methodology is questionable.
