My husband just had major back surgery so was not able to do this repair himself so we called Michael. He first came out in Feb and charged $200 for a service call said he had to get some special silicone for a spa. repair; he came back charged us another 170 put the silicone on and left. It did not work we contacted him again. He said he had to order a new part, first said they sent the wrong part then April 14, said the right part came in he would be here tomorrow. He still has not been back. He has never called or came back, it is May 11th, so for $370 got nothing. I had to call Pinch-A-Penny to find somebody that would even work on it. The extended warranty company, ecoaquapro, will not reimburse for repairs. Bottom line - when it breaks you are paying for it. Original: I bought a Jacuzzi heat pump from Leslie's that included free installation. They did not show up as scheduled for the site evaluation, even though they had a 4 hour window. Their free "install" includes moving the old unit to the curb, placing the new unit on your pad and connecting the plumbing; does not include the electrical hookup. After the Leslie's installer left there where white strands from the pipes they cut, floating in my pool. The plastic strands damaged my Chlorinator.
