She's 5 months and I can already walk her off leash. 2)They really work with your schedule, I've been late may times picking Gracie up bc of work activities and the owners take her home with their dogs and they don't charge they even feed her puppy food! 3)She's SO FREAKING good on walks, when she pulls it's easy to correct her and once she gets one reward she's walking beside me and looking up the whole time ( unless there's a far more interesting dog off leash, but I'm working on being more fun than her distractions) Overall I have an incredibly HAPPY, social and obedient puppy at 5 months and I'm so grateful to that business Thank y'all so much can't wait to see how she progresses as she attends day care read more

I am so glad we found positive energy! My rescue pup was under socialized with other dogs and was struggling with reactivity. We purchased a private training package and Marwa & Jeff worked with us to truly help my girl overcome it. They brought their own dogs to help her practice, and then we moved on to lessons in busy areas where we knew dogs would be around. They also helped me train her with the e-collar which has been a game changer for us. Now we attend the group trainings every Sunday and my dog has improved so much that she is now able to go to their structured daycare to socialize freely with other dogs - something I thought might never be possible! Positive Energy, and their whole team, are great at what they do! Frankie, our German Shephard puppy, started in late July at PE at about 3 months old. His mom (me - age not to be disclosed) started at the same time. Both of us were clueless. Frankie through no fault of his own, he's a puppy. Frankie was scared of everything and reacted to everything. The staff used to say "here comes Frankie" before we even got into the facility because he'd bark his head off as soon as he hopped out of the car. We started with Saturday puppy socials. By the end of the 1st hour of the 1st social I could see that Frankie had made progress with Marwa's calm, consistent and firm hand. So we quickly started in on structured training/day care. Within weeks, the progress that Frankie made was amazing! It wasn't long before Frankie stopped barking on arrival at PE, but instead was jumping in excitement. And, Mom has made progress too. Words can't begin to express how grateful I am for Marwa and the rest of the PE team! I have a lot of trust issues when it comes to my baby, but with the PE Training team I never once felt unsteady leaving him with them. I brought in my 2 year old Olde English Bulldog for help with leash training and walking as he would pull me like a ragdoll and attempt to lunge and bark at everyone and every dog. they trialed a lead which he ignored and introduced the prong training and he has taken to it so well. Leo is able to be redirected and walks next to me, which has lead to way more peaceful and less stressful walks. A fantastic group of individuals who are dedicated to learning more about your pup and getting them to where they need to be. I got my pup during the pandemic so he missed the critical socialization period. He was fearful of anything - people, cars, sprinklers, and dogs. After attending puppy preschool and obedience training, we were looking at ways to get Miko (my pup) to be more comfortable around others and luckily someone recommended Positive Energy Dog Training to my dad. Right off the bat, the folks I've encountered radiated positive vibes. Sam did our initial consultation and he took time to ask us about Miko, meet him, and try to understand what we were going for. He was also the first person to tell us that Miko's growling and barking was due to fear and not because of aggression like what we've been hearing from our vet/random people who stop to chat with us. At the end he recommended Miko to attend some socials so he can learn to interact with other dogs. There's a lot to be said, but long story short is that Miko took a few socials to get comfortable, but they worked. He's grown more comfortable around dogs when we take him to dog parks. Honestly, Positive Energy (Marwa, Sam, Darlene, everyone who works here) have my trust 100% and I'd recommend them to others who need assistance with their furbabies. read more

First time at a social here with my 3 month old pup! We both had a blast. The facility is very spacious, clean, safe and welcoming. The minimum requirement is bordetella and 2nd DHPP shots, so be sure to have those ready for verification if you're new. There were probably over 20 dogs running around in our 1 hour social and that was enough to get my pup excited and exploring. There were rules to follow and 2 personnel monitoring the dogs' play. The best part is my pup came home super tired and caused less trouble that without all that stimulation. I liked that it was a good place to socialize my pup and learn what is appropriate play. We still have a lot to learn, but it's good to make new doggie friends! I'm already thinking of regularly frequenting these socials. Parking - They have a small parking lot for customers. read more

Marwa and her team are incredible! Go here if you want a well-mannered dog. We had a stubborn corgi puppy in fall 2020, and at the time Positive Energy was the only place accepting older puppies. We started at a weekend social, had a consultation day, and purchased the VIP package within a week's time. After her first day of school, Remi never nipped heels again, and her barking was reduced SO much. We can't recommend the VIP package enough! The private training and unlimited access to puppy socials are essential. Your pup will get individualized training, and we loved the report cards at the end of the day. We were afraid we'd never be able to trust Remi alone at home, and by the end of training it wasn't even a concern. She even gets along with our cats! We get so many comments complimenting how well behaved Remi is, especially for a corgi. We can't thank Positive Energy enough! read more

Not impressed. This was our third visit. We witnessed a dog escaping and running out to the street. They have three dates. And a dog still got out. This is never okay. 1. First shy dog social - canceled and the only notification was via Instagram. What? No email, phone call, text. Nothing. 2. Adolescent social. All the dogs were way too rambunctious and out of control. Our shy dog wanted to part of it. 3. Went to the shy dog social. Not a single dog was shy. Our dog ended being scared and the other dogs overwhelmed her. Likely not coming back. read more

It took me a long time to write this because I really hate to write bad reviews but I also couldn't fully accept what happened to my boyfriend and I at the time. It was about 1.5 yrs ago. We trusted positive energy dog training to help our corgi learn some good manners. Regardless of the reason why we brought our pet there, we started to notice a specific employee on their live feed kick our dog. I specifically remember she had pink highlights but not sure if she works here anymore. Imagine dropping your dog off and thinking he is ok in a "positive" energy board and train. The entire week we were on vacation, we got no updates even though we had reached out and we were highly concerned. We couldn't see him on the live feed anymore either. We later found out that he didn't get along with other dogs and they had to lock him in a separate room the entire time. We paid more than 1.5K for people who were incompetent and could not communicate the issues directly to us. I would not recommend this business. As nice as Marwa is, I think she tries to accept as many dogs as she can for profit. To the girl who kicked my dog... I simply have no words for you. read more

This review is long overdue but PE training was just fantastic and instrumental for the development of our dog Churro. We sent him to PE for their puppy training program when he was about 12 weeks old including their puppy socials. The trainers were all great and so loving to him! I highly recommend them if you have a new puppy! *Churro just started daycare at Here Doggy, and runs into Darlene from PE periodically. We had a consultation today with Jeff, he was amazing! We learned so much about our labradoodle pup. I took so many notes. Seeing Jeff and our dog, Archie, interact was amazing. Already we are seeing a difference in Archie. We also learned about things we were doing that may have been unintentionally causing delays with potty training or confusion. I can't say enough good things about our session! We plan to have our pup partipate in other programs and more training in the future. read more

We scheduled in house 1:1 consultation with Marwa for our puppy training. Within 10 mins of our interaction with her, we quickly realized that her knowledge is very limited and may not align with our pup needs. At some point during the conversation, we were giving her tips on playpen, and explaining what snuffle mat is, Kong use etc.. (LOL). Other than that, during her meet up with our puppy who is full of energy, she absolutely failed in her efforts to calm him down. Basically, our puppy gave us message I don't want to be trained with her :) She was also supposed to provide a consultation follow up summary within 2-3 days of her visit and it's been more than 2 months, I didn't receive anything from her which of course I don't care anymore as my puppy is happy elsewhere. Overall, I am glad we took initial consultation and didn't directly enroll our pup in her day school. read more

I'm a first time pet owner and Positive Energy Dog Training has been a essential tool in the home training of our puppy. Every time I make contact with one of the staff, we walk away with a lesson. Our pup had a nipping problem when we first brought him home and it's now no longer an issue. Our puppy loves the day training and it's a great way for him to get out all of his energy for the day. Mar, Darlene, Kat and the rest of the PE crew are amazing! We sent our puppy Sky to the day training program designed for dogs who are not yet fully vaccinated (round1+bordetella required). They provide a safe and clean space for pups to get out their boundless energy, which was a saving grace since we were being super cautious about not walking her outside except in our own backyard. The webcams are awesome and I was able to watch the playtime and training - so fun! Sky LOVED coming to classes and LOVED the puppy socials on the weekends. We opted for the 12-day package and it set Sky up with a tremendously strong foundation of socialization and training skills. Took my puppy today for an evaluation with Marwa. I have been reluctant to find the right training facility and I'm so glad I came across Positive Energy Dog Training. I explained concerns I had and things that I wanted to accomplish and she reassured me that my puppy was in great hands. I have called several places and can say I was not comfortable leaving my puppy at any of these places for training but will gladly continue PEDT. We adopted our puppy in late September 2020 when it was most difficult to socialize him not only because of the pandemic but also of the bad air quality due to the Northern CA fires. We missed to socialize our puppy during the crucial socialization period. Our puppy was fearful and anxious, and would snap at strangers who would try to pet him. Signing up our puppy with Positive Energy's day training program was a very good decision, one of the important decisions my family made.  It was an investment to a good dog that our family can be happy and have a good relationship with. Our puppy has learned the important obedience skills, has been socialized with both dogs and people, and is now a confident dog. Via the private sessions, we (the owners) have learned how to continue the training at home. Also, Positive Energy's puppy socials on weekends have helped our puppy to meet other dogs and people in a managed environment. Marwa and her staff are the best!  I appreciate all the trainers especially Marwa, Jenni, Giselle, and Britney.  We'll surely consider bringing our dog back in the future if he needs a refresh of his obedience skills. My dog has been attending day training for a few months. He has a natural tendency towards separation anxiety, so I wanted him to get used to spending time away from me again. Day training is fantastic. The dogs have fun, while working on their basic commands, manners, and socializing with each other. After just a few sessions at day training, I noticed he no longer lost his mind when someone rang our doorbell. I asked Marwa, and she confirmed that they address alarm barking. He's also been a lot calmer around our cats as well, and much more responsive to the "leave it" command. I am not here to hate or show hate but I want to share my experience because there's so many good reviews but I'm curious if it was this hard to get into the program. First off they take forever to reply to emails and concerns, I did have to reschedule the first time, they never answered any of my phone calls nor my voicemails, (I wanted to make sure that my $75 doesn't go to waste) I finally got a hold of them when I messaged them on Instagram and Was told that they did get back to me which was not true I would've been aware of that because I'm pretty consistent on checking my emails and voicemails. I finally got a consultation rescheduled and they were really nice in person but when I went to pick up my puppy you're supposed to call before you go inside, I did my first call got rejected, I called again but this time I stood in front of the window where she can see me; she then made or pretended to make a phone because I just saw her rejecting my second phone call. I ignored it because I really wanted to work with them after my consultation I was expecting them to tell me about the packages she then told me she was going to CALL me the next day, The next day I received a email not a phone call, I had already told them that I wanted to know about the packages and the pricing why wouldn't they just called me so it would be a faster process I emailed them back asking them to call me so I can get my questions out the way I didn't get a reply in two days after I complained they said they would call that day.. still nothing. Definitely going somewhere else where they actually show they care. Now I do believe the owners heart is in the right place but I can't say the same about her employees. I felt like they didn't want to work with me because I'm younger and are probably more selective on who they choose to work with. read more

I contacted Mar because she was referred by a friend. She was open to training my almost 2 year old Australian Shepherd/ Pitbull mix. The reason I say that is because the trainers I've contacted before had given contingencies to work with them purely based on his breed. Mar has a calmness to her voice of which my puppy responds to. She also made recommendations on DIY projects we can do in the background for my puppy to get his exercise. Love how creative she is that I don't need to spend lots of money for my dog to be mentally and physically challenged. As of right now, I've only had an evaluation with Marwa. Meeting her was great. She was extremely nice and personable. She made me and my dog (Yoda) feel comfortable. She didnt make me feel embarrassed when I asked my questions or when I told her my problems. She asked me what I wanted out of these sessions and didnt tell me what to do instead. I found Mar through FB posts and am so glad I reached out! She has great communication, very personable, and was able to schedule a time to meet with us as soon as possible. We just adopted a male 2 y/o boisterous American Bulldog/Pit Bull Mix and needed guidance all across the map. Mar came to our home and showed us new techniques to give our boy some direction. She took time in the beginning to just get to know him and he knew right away that she was someone he needed to listen to. Although he jumped a lot, Mar remained calm yet assertive and he positively responded. Our boy has a lot of energy and she provided us new ways to allow him to exert his energy in a more structured manner but to also make it fun to strengthen my dog's and I bond! So not only did our boy learn a lot, we did too! Mar broke it down, answered all of our questions. Did all kinds of exercises to gauge his behaviors and showed us what we can do from there. We even tried to take him out on the bike, baby steps and safety first but it was so cool to even try it! Our boy has been with a different trainer at a facility and we just didn't experience the kind of personable connection, information, and guidance as we did with Mar! I have a feisty 16 week old Morkie who bites/chews on me, wont come to me and is resistant to all the things I've tried. Five minutes with Mar and he was such a different puppy!
