Words can't begin to express how grateful I am for Marwa and the rest of the PE team! I have a lot of trust issues when it comes to my baby, but with the PE Training team I never once felt unsteady leaving him with them. I enrolled my XL bully, Guapo, into their puppy day training and we focused on his loose leash training. They are so accommodating when it comes to working with my busy work schedule. We're 2 months into working with Marwa and there's been a drastic change in our walks. No more pulling, no more trying to jump on people and other dogs to say hi! Thank you so much PE team for educating me and also setting my Guapo up for success. I'm so excited to continue having him work on his training!

I brought in my 2 year old Olde English Bulldog for help with leash training and walking as he would pull me like a ragdoll and attempt to lunge and bark at everyone and every dog. they trialed a lead which he ignored and introduced the prong training and he has taken to it so well. Leo is able to be redirected and walks next to me, which has lead to way more peaceful and less stressful walks. I have been able to introduce the same principles to my other bulldog and I am so happy to say, it is going well. thank you so much!

Marwa and her team are incredible! Go here if you want a well-mannered dog. We had a stubborn corgi puppy in fall 2020, and at the time Positive Energy was the only place accepting older puppies. We started at a weekend social, had a consultation day, and purchased the VIP package within a week's time. After her first day of school, Remi never nipped heels again, and her barking was reduced SO much. We can't recommend the VIP package enough! The private training and unlimited access to puppy socials are essential. Your pup will get individualized training, and we loved the report cards at the end of the day. We were afraid we'd never be able to trust Remi alone at home, and by the end of training it wasn't even a concern. She even gets along with our cats! We get so many comments complimenting how well behaved Remi is, especially for a corgi. We can't thank Positive Energy enough!

This place has been the best thing for my dogs! All the trainers are great and the best part is my dogs love them. They have helped with the one that needed a bit of training. Brittany and Sam have been a big help for me and my 3 kids.

I'm a first time pet owner and Positive Energy Dog Training has been a essential tool in the home training of our puppy. Every time I make contact with one of the staff, we walk away with a lesson. Our pup had a nipping problem when we first brought him home and it's now no longer an issue. Our puppy loves the day training and it's a great way for him to get out all of his energy for the day. The weekend socials are perfect for any dog needing more interaction with other pups. Our puppy is the most social fur ball ever thanks to PEdogtraining.

Both of my dogs have done training there, starting when they were just a few months old. They are very warm and friendly trainers who clearly care about the dogs and have done a great job with my goofballs.

Out happy girls resting after a full day of training and fun at the PE Dog Training facility.

Positive Energy Dog Training has changed our lives and the lives of our pup in the best possible way ever!. Our rescue dog (who weighs over 80 pounds and is very strong) did not speak English and didn't know her name when she came to us. She was so difficult to walk because she was so strong that I had to use two leashes! I have been training my own dogs for the past 20 years, but this pup was too big, strong, willful and distracted for me to even know where to begin. I turned to PE Dog Training for emergency help with her. After only a few sessions with PE dog training, our dog was completely obedient, gentle with other dogs, knew her name, was able to control herself in all situations and she became a very polite well mannered dog. I was amazed! The personalized attention, 1:1 consultations and "Doggy Report Cards" after ever day training session was top-notch. I knew that PE Dog Training knew my dog specifically and worked with her on a 1:1 basis, even though there were many other dogs in the group too. I highly recommend PE dog training as the place for any dog who needs help. Thank you Nick & Sam and Marwa and all of the delightful staff members and trainers. Applause to you All for your hard work and great effort.

Marwa and her team are phenomenal, we have an anxious/impulsive rescue pitty and they took him in and have been incredible with him. Marwa immediately saw past his bark and saw him for the big goofball he is, with their help he has made massive improvements in his general training and his comfort level around other dogs and humans. We honestly have no clue how we would've survived without them. They always go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure their pups are thriving, comfortable and happy, we cannot recommend them enough! Thank you guys for all you do for us and Marty!

I live in Manteca and have a one year old Shiba Inu. She is very timid and anxious most of the time, loud noises especially scare her. She will only go on walks for a short amount of time because she doesn't like all the stimulation. Can u help?

I shared more on his condition and our solutions below, but ultimately this experience at the Rex Center (IMO) helped extend Maddox's life by 7+ months. Big thank you to Ellen and Robin for your empathetic support, and just overall knowledge and skills, while helping to make Maddox's chronic arthritis livable again. ~~ More context to Maddox's arthritis condition for anyone that may be facing similar challenges -- hope it helps! . Maddox's arthritis meds (Adaquan/carprofen/gabapentin), which had worked great for ~2 years, mostly stopped working in early June 2023. By late June 2023, and about 3 weeks since the meds stopped working, it was to the point that Maddox couldn't get up effectively, or walk on his own; nor could he hold himself up while going to the bathroom. To me at this time, it seemed like something was sprained, whether that was in his paw or around, etc, as he was also regularly knuckling / curling his paw during these 3 weeks. First we got him a X-Ray, it came back as nothing being sprained or broke. Then a MRI with an orthopedic (Marin County), and that all but confirmed Maddox's debilitating arthritis as the singular cause. The orthopedic was even surprised it was only arthritis and nothing more. So after the MRI, he was prescribed prednisone (early July 2023) by the orthopedic. It worked! **This is also when I set up his first swim session with Ellen and the Rex Center ...and this worked too! Mainly, the Rex Center + prednisone was the only solution that provided results. Where once a week, over a few months, Maddox had a swim session at the Rex center. Progressively stabilizing into what came to be a situation where he was playful again, getting up and going to the bathroom on his own strength, and overall about as good as it could be given the circumstances. I can't thank Ellen and Robin enough. On the video and images I shared, those are from the very first session. Maddox got right in, swam great, and overall was relaxed (like a spa day!). Of note, Maddox in his entire 14 year existence NEVER swam too, for whatever reason he hated the water. With Ellen and Robin though, you never would have known. Thanks to the team here again, and I only wish we had Maddox in the water during those 2 years when his arthritis meds worked great. **My recommendation is if your dog has any level of arthritis, the earlier the better, get the pups in that warm water at the Rex Center.

I started bringing my dog here to address his luxating patella. We came up with a plan to start shockwave therapy and water treadmill therapy and supplements. We've had two appointments out of the five of the package we purchased. He's much more comfortable with all the staff and treatments now. The first two shockwave treatments are done with the doctors to assess and develop a treatment plan, and the following treatments are done with a certified therapist. Everyone has been so kind to my dog that he loves coming here. And not just for the human grade cheese he's given to do the exercises!! We were also given a comprehensive List of physical therapy movements and stretches to do at home. It's too soon to tell if the treatment is working well, but we have high hopes with this clinic! It takes us about 3 hours of traffic to get to and from this clinic, but it's such a gem. They provide towels and blowdryers and snacks for the water treadmill work. We opted to not try the injection as my dog is scared of shots, who isn't really?! The doctor was so kind to provide us with a another supplement option, which we have started. They check in to see how he's doing at the start of every appointment and tailor the session to his needs. We opted to not go through insurance, but they can help out with paperwork if you do so. Well worth it to learn non invasive techniques to rehab your beloved pups. Can't wait to see my little baby become stronger with these amazing professionals!

Despite everything we learned with our first dog, we quickly realized we weren't fully equipped to handle some of our new dog's quirks. She was a flight risk (would run away any chance she got), fearful, not a fan of other dogs, and didn't know any basic commands. We decided to enroll her in a 5-week board and train program with Viki, and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. Throughout the program, Viki regularly posted Instagram updates and was always responsive to my questions, which gave us so much peace of mind. What I appreciated most was how Viki helped us truly understand Pumpkin and her behavior. We initially thought Pumpkin was dog-aggressive, but Viki helped us see that she simply prefers her personal space and will correct dogs that are too intrusive. Viki then showed us how to properly handle these situations so we could confidentially support Pumpkin in real life settings. Pumpkin came home a better version of herself - more confident, focused, and calm despite distractions. I can now leave my door open and trust that she won't rush out unless I give her permission. Walks are no longer stressful; she doesn't freeze in fear, and she stays composed even when other dogs lunge. We're incredibly grateful for Viki's guidance and support.

We are so glad he's happy when he's there. I wish there was another star so I could give Dan Perata Training six stars! They're simply THE BEST! We went through two other trainers before we found Dan and his team, and without disparaging the other trainers (they were somewhat effective) I will say the Perata difference was night and day. Within a couple of weeks our five-month old puppy was walking on a leash, reacting less to other dogs in public, and gentle with kids. After a couple more weeks, he was performing recall, heeling with the kids, and almost totally ignoring other dogs. We are so proud to take him in public and people can hardly believe he's only six months old. Unfortunately, the two did not get along, and we found ourselves overwhelmed and unsure of what to do. After vetting several trainers, we chose Dan Perata because of his thoughtful, structured approach--focused on discipline and communication through commands rather than treats or punitive methods. His philosophy resonated with us: training isn't just about the dog, it's about the owners putting in the work too. This isn't a "drop off your dog and pick them up all trained" program. It's a serious commitment. We spent many weeks working closely with Dan and his incredible team, and while we eventually "graduated," that was just the beginning. We continue to train with our dogs at home and periodically attend refresher group walks to reinforce what we've learned. Additionally, we also use Dan's boarding services when we travel, knowing our dogs are in good hands and staying consistent with their training. We wholeheartedly recommend Dan Perata Training to anyone serious about building a strong, respectful relationship with their dog. But be prepared: this program requires your time, effort, and willingness to grow alongside your dog. If you're not ready for that level of commitment, you may want to rethink dog ownership altogether.
