I believe they think they are a monopoly now. They have not been taking the trash bags beside the trash cans despite a indicating you can leave up trash bags outside of the . They've left a lot of trash behind routinely. Now that they use the one armed trash truck no one even leaves the truck to pick up the rest of the trash. There's also been some issues, apparently with them going through the bags of trash, literally tearing them open and looking in them prior to putting them on the trash truck in the past. I believe there are other services that offer the same type of service for less with better customer service. There's definitely a challenge getting these individuals to pick up the phone after lunch.

I've been a customer since the company was started by sisters Lindsey and Laura several years ago. Their senior rate beats the pants off any other waste disposal company's. They have never - not once! - missed a pick-up. The rare times they've been late have been due to equipment issues, and they have always come the next day when this occurred. I've never had any problem contacting them if I had questions or concerns. Another thing I appreciate about Pickers is that they are very respectful of my property - unlike the big companies, their guys never leave the emptied trash bin out in the street. They always put it back exactly where they found it. In my 27 years of living in my house, I've had several really crappy, rude, disrespectful and expensive trash collection services. I've fired more than I can remember. Pickers is head and shoulders above the rest, which is why I've been their customer for so long. I'm surprised that others have had such negative experiences because I've never seen anything of the sort they describe. I wouldn't use anyone else.
