This company is terrible. I don't even want to rehash all the details (and you can pretty much find what you're up against in the other reviews here), but the whole business is really run poorly. They don't give a crap about a deadline nor do they get things done (like basic communication) in a timely manner. Is this a start up???? It must be since pretty much all of the practices put in place are ill-conceived (at best). read more

If I could give them no stars I would. This company lacks an incredible amount of professionalism and I highly recommend working with literally ANY other company. I had been "guaranteed delivery" on a Thursday. The day before the lady calls and tells me they are out of stock of the shirt and they wont get here. After 4 different calls and 6 emails I am guaranteed delivery Saturday of the shirts I DID NOT order. Now, the day they are supposed to be delivered, I find out they messed up the tracking label and they wont get here until Monday and therefore serving to be pointless as they missed the event we were wanting them for this weekend. I have NEVER had such a horrible experience with a company. read more

I recently ordered 72 shirts with printed logo from Custom Ink. When I inspected the order, I found that all of the shirts suffered from a manufacturing defect on the neck line stitching inside the shirt. Customer service was helpful upon taking my calls and they provided me with a pre-paid shipping label to return the shirts. (something tells me I wasn't the first person unsatisfied with the garment quality) Custom Ink received the shirts I returned on Friday and by Wednesday of the following week I had not heard back from them. I called customer service, and while they acknowledged the sub-par quality of the shirts, they wanted to put all the blame on the manufacturer of the shirts. They offered to replace my order with a different shirt but I demanded a full refund. At this point in my customer journey, it had been 20 days since my initial order. When pressed as to why I did not want to replace my order with a different brand of shirt, I let them know that I had ZERO confidence in their quality control. While the quality of the printing was acceptable, the quality of the garment was not. If Custom Ink was willing to let this order ship, it shows me that they lack appropriate quality control to ensure the garment is worthy of their brand. As a customer I had no faith that I would not be in this position with a future order. I did receive a full refund after pressing the representative, but I will never order another shirt from them again. read more

For our cross country team, we were going to make tank tops for us all to wear on our homecoming float. We all agreed on a design, and everyone's money was turned in. After our order was placed, however; it was then told to us that they would only be able to do a certain amount of colors on our shirts and sent us the design of what they would print if we agreed to it. It was very sloppy and nobody wanted it. Keep in mind, this was after we paid! I am very dissatisfied because they could have at least conveyed the situation to us before we paid for it. We have since then cancelled our order and we won't be having our homecoming shirts! Furthermore, whenever we ordered our basic season shirts, the design on the frocket filled up the whole space on it, but whenever we received it it was way smaller than we expected. We for sure won't be using custom ink again! read more

I ordered custom-designed t-shirts. Quality was great. Customer service was great. Shipping was great. Design application on site was easy to use. Prices are a bit higher than other screen printers out there, but nothing unreasonable and I'm willing to pay for reliability. There are a lot of screen printers out there that sell poor quality work and are completely unreliable. Custom Ink is not one of them. read more

Worked with Sophia H.(t-shirt ambassador). She was incredibly friendly and helpful. I'm so grateful. Many thanks.

Custom Ink is nearly impossible to do business with, if you're being creative. The rule book mentality there defeats common sense. They publish hundreds of words and images and yet don't allow you to mix them as you choose. It's like dealing with lawyers who only say "no" to anything creative. "You can't use this with that." "You can't use that with this." HUH? They publish hundreds of items on their website as words, names and clip art, and then say "no" if you try to use them creatively. Their service team is polite, but it seems as if all they can say is, "Our legal dept. says 'no.'" How can anyone do business on these terms? They publish items on their website and then they stop your design eventhough you're combining some of the same design elements that they have published as use-able. What's that? How can any grown-up do business like this? Really?? read more

I ordered just one shirt. I wear t-shirts over scrub pants to work and my t-shirt collection was beginning to get a little worn. I knew what I wanted, but I just couldn't find it anywhere, so I went to customink and made it myself. I ordered it on Monday morning and here it is Thursday and I'll be wearing it to work this evening. I really feel like my one little shirt was important. It was printed the same day I ordered it, and shipped the next day. Oh, and the fit was absolutely perfect. Will definitely be ordering me a shirt about once a month. read more

I am running a business, so I know what "a difficult customer" means. I ordered from CustomInk three or four times before, and did it way before I actually needed it, to exclude rushing. This time I have to admit I was a terrible customer: order was submitted late; we are running out of time; first I was changing design many times; then - when finally realized, it wouldn't fit children's hat - changed the product (to t-shirt - immediately got credit; hats were more expensive); then parents started calling me to "update" their children's sizes, so I called CustomInk to change sizes as well. And they always said "yes, sure" in the most friendly voice; all the notes have been taken. The best thing is, the order arrived today as promised, so the company does take deadlines seriously. Bottom line: manufacturing is fine, customer service is exemplary. read more

Custom ink is the best in product and customer service. The t-shirt we ordered was perfect but the size was wrong. They understood and are sending another in the correct size at no cost. They serve groups, as well. They are the place to shop. read more

We were contacted two days before our fundraiser for our Walk MS shirts were due to be shipped to say that there was an issue with the design and they could not print them. Why were we not contacted immediately when the order went live. NOT two days before the product was supposed to ship. 44 people have bought a shirt, their cards were charged for a product that they THOUGHT they were getting. Now they will be receiving a completely redesigned product. How are we supposed to explain that? Not to mention the customer service supervisor Carrie D. screened all of my husbands calls and emails but would answer right away when I called. I am sick. With the disease that this fundraiser is for and they tried to say they couldn't print the shirt without my name or name of disease more clearly on it. Our team name was not enough. I shouldn't have to plaster my name on shirt to shout I HAVE A DISEASE for people to understand this is a fundraiser for MS. This shirt is not to advertise me but the whole team and family of EVERYONE who is fighting to end MS. The whole Custom Ink team was difficult to work with. Forcing a sick woman to have to repeatedly call them just to get them to talk to my husband, being very inflexible with the design (despite the support of the head of the National walk MS society on our end), and ultimately being rude to both me and my husband when they finally did talk to us again. They remained so inflexible with the design (after they charged 44 people's credit cards $25.00/shirt) that we ended up shutting down the fundraiser with them and and asking that everyone be refunded. We will find a more caring and supportive company for our team shirts. They have completely shut down our fundraiser with in minutes of our phone call but have yet to see a refund come through on my card, nor have any of my family or friends. Will never be using Custom Ink again. And I will be telling everyone at the walk and in support groups, fundraisers, etc not to use your service. We already fighting every day against this disease, we don't need to fight with you too... read more

Wonderful! I received my custom shirt today and I couldn't be happier. I will be surprising a friend and I can't wait to see the look on his face. When designing the shirt on the website, I was concerned about the quality of the image and whether it would print well. And, of course, you always wonder if the product you're going to receive will live up to your expectations. CustomInk has definitely lived up to their promises. The shirt was perfect and the quality even better than anticipated. I also received my order two days before the estimated delivery date. So happy!!! read more

I have to praise CustomInk for their exceptional customer service. They went above and beyond to make the shirts for my event perfect. Every year my family participates in the Susan G. Komen walk in memory of my sister. This year was her 10 year memorial anniversary and we were planning to go all out by getting t-shirts made for everyone. We had a photo that we really wanted on the shirt and after speaking to local shirt vendors I felt that CustomInk would do a great job. Throughout the design process I was meticulous in getting it perfect. Long story short, the t-shirts arrived incorrectly and CustomInk did everything they could to make it right. I was able to get the shirts in time to distribute prior to the race and received numerous compliments. It's rare to find a company where every person you speak with is knowledgeable, professional and willing to go the extra mile to make the customer happy. I admit, there were times I lost it on the phone, yet they remained patient and willing to help. Throughout the whole process Jude S. went above and beyond to keep me updated on my order via phone and email. Thank you Jude! And, to everyone at CustomInk you've got solid customer service. I probably spoke to 4 different reps and each person was great to work with. You can tell these employees love their job. Any company who puts customers first like you guys have will succeed. And those are the companies I like to do business with and the companies I ultimately want to work for. Good job and thank you for turning a bad experience to a positive one. I will be back and will tell others that they need to get their shirts printed through ya'll! read more

I cannot say enough about Customink and their site, product, and most importantly, SERVICE!!! We needed custom shirts to bond our troop but also easily identify our girls at events, with an upcoming campout planned to kick off our new "uniform". We had a short turnaround time (3 days) as we needed them quickly for our latest camping adventure as a local shop couldn't do what we needed any longer. So I jumped right into their site, designed a shirt, selected the super rush, and it came up for Friday, which was the day we were leaving. I called and spoke with Veronica who said she could make sure we had them the evening before. Not only did I get exactly what we designed, on a great and colorful product, but they pulled out the stops to make sure we had them when we needed them. Hands down, yes, we will use them again for customer shirts! Oh, and btw, the girls loved them, we were the hit around town wearing them, and the campout was a blast! read more

PERFECT! You could not ask for an easier to use website, better looking shirts, or friendlier customer service. I ordered a shirt about a week and a half ago and it turns out that it way way too big. I called their customer service line and they picked up immediately, not only that but once I had explained my situation, they offered to send me a new one, completely cost free for me. I would recommend Custom Ink to anyone! read more

Wow. Such an amazing company. I ordered a shirt for my husband's birthday. I was informed it ran a little small so I upped it to an X-large. When it arrived I knew right away it was too big. I spoke with Jared today and informed him of the situation. He was great! He is sending me a large and even overnighting it so my husband will still get it in time for his birthday. Thank you so incredibly much. This is what customer service is all about. read more

Worst t-shirt site ever... EVER. They canceled my order 2x because they "thought" my design was too similar to an actual design. In actuality, my design was hand drawn and did no represent any specific design. these people are nuts! not only do they charge you 5X what it costs, but they bone you hard core in the design studio. I placed an order through Custom Ink for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. The design program was very easy to use, and the order was easy to place. My initial process went very well, the items arrived on time, and everything was correct. Upon sorting and organizing the shirts, I realized I was short on 5 shirts. (This was a miscalculation on my end.) I thought, no trouble, I will just order some more. When I went to order them, since they were not in bulk like the original order, the prices had drastically increased. I also needed to order a minimum of a certain design in order to purchase the needed color. I decided to call the custom service hotline to ask for some help. I came into contact with Hayley Godwin, and she was able to restore the original bulk price, and allow me to only order my needed amount, given the minimum quantity requirement. She was very friendly, and helpful. Honestly the best customer service I have ever received. I will not hesitate to use Custom Ink again for any of my t-shirt needs! read more

A little disappointed that Custom Ink did not follow the instructions I left on their "Add Note" section. I was designing a shirt to promote my business. As part of the design, I needed two circle shapes to be placed centered and aligned between two texts. I tried my best to center the shapes visually since Custom Ink's design platform does not have a feature to ensure shapes are properly centered between text or images. Since there was no way for me to know they were properly centered, I had left a detailed note asking they ensure this before printing. Because it was important aspect to the overall look of my design, before I placed my order, I called customer service to confirm if they would follow through with my instructions, and they assured me that they would. Needless to say, they did not and the circles were way off. They were off-centered much more than what they had appeared when I completed my design and it really destroyed the look of the overall design. It looks unprofessional and very amateurish and I certainly will not be wearing it. I'm glad I did a text run with them before ordering several shirts at once. I'll just have to find another vendor who could provide more design precision or who can follow through with instructions. read more

This is a great company to buy from. Ren walked me through my order. The quality of the shirts was great, the design exactly right and the timeliness of all was amazing. Definitely recommend this company. read more

I have mixed reviews with CustomInk. Best to start with the negative and end with the positive. I have ordered several shirts from them. Nothing in bulk though. All individual designs and orders and I would say it's about 50/50 on satisfaction. I've had issues with crooked photos, stains and folding of the shirts before they dry so the ink essentially looks like"overspray". It's either one of those issues OR they turn out awesome! For the price of each shirt though ($30-$40) it isn't really acceptable. Honestly if they would just slow down to avoid these mistakes and also make sure that each order is inspected before it's shipped, I think it would solve a lot of their problems. To their credit, the times I have had to write in with a problem they have remade the order and overnighted it to me. Literally it shows up on my doorstep the nest day. As long as you do everything in your power to fix the problem and satisfy the customer, then you're okay in my book. read more

I didn't end up getting my shirts from them, but the site was very easy to use. Once I placed my order, someone got back to me very quickly to let me know the pictures I used weren't good enough quality for the shirts so they wouldn't look good when printed, and when I asked them to cancel the order I had the money back in my account within hours. When I re-design the shirts with a better quality image I'll definitely be using them again, the woman who contacted me about the pictures was very nice. read more

This place was amazing! I created tank tops for my sister's bachelorette party and not only did they e-mail me asking if they could make some changes to make my shirt look better they followed up after I received it to make sure it was to my liking. The site was super easy to use and everything turned out great. My only complaint was the junior size shirts are definitely not that junior. If you think you wear a small you are a small. Don't buy up a size. read more

I recently ordered 12 shirts for a sports team and my expierence was great. I was able to get the same print on different shirts while still getting a bulk price. Several times throughout my expierence I called customer service and got all that I had hoped. When it was time to order shirts, the prices were a little high. However, they were able to help me lower the price of the shirts while keeping a similar design. I also recieved my order 4 days before the gaurenteed date. I would definitely use Custom Ink again. read more

OUTSTANDING customer service. I am blown away by the communication the staff has provided to me. Some of my coworkers have ordered t-shirts from CustomInk so I decided to try them out this year. I was blown away by the customer service when I called to request a rush order! We were all very pleased with the product and the customer service. read more

Their ads claim they are so easy to deal with and easy to use - that's just not true. If all you're doing is using their graphics to make generic shirts they probably will do fine. I had created graphics for a single (1) T-Shirt as an example at a cost of $35 and CustomInk claimed were too similar to other graphics which were already on a web page, so they refused to print them unless I could get that web page owners approval. I even offered to send them my original graphic files to show the differences, but no. Then I had 100% original graphics on a shirt design and it wasn't hi-res enough. After 5 emails back and forth with nothing from them but, "Oh dude, we're all bummed out here that we can't make your shirt!" I had enough - too difficult to work with, too much trouble for 1 shirt of each kind. I cancelled the orders and doubt I'll be returning. read more

I needed shirts for an event on Sunday, I called Tuesday to see if they could get me shirts in time. I was told with the super rush they could get me shirts by Friday. I placed my order over the phone to make sure that everything was set to go and received an email saying my order was "Guaranteed" Friday came and my package was not here. I was told by costumer service that it was stuck on a UPS truck to Monday. The package was sent ground UPS from the printers on Thursday. When I asked Custom Ink why they didn't send it out overnight when it was guaranteed to by to me on Friday they said "most of the time it comes in a day when the printer is local." I think it is unacceptable to charge a "super rush" and then just cut corners on the delivery. It is now Monday and I still don't have the now useless shirts. I would give less then one star if I could. read more

At this point I'm very upset with the unprofessional way in which I have been handled around by this company. I placed an order which did not meet the dimensions I had ordered. I documented this as requested by Custom Ink. After I had sent them the pictures they sent me a shipping label to send the shirts back. So after two weeks and some back and forth about doing a new order that I had fully intended to make I get the first order sent back to me without any explanation as to why it was shipped to me the second time. When I contacted their customer service (same person BTW) I was told I had bought them and that's why they sent the order the second time. Nothing about the fact they screwed up my order. I'm calling my CC company if they don't refund me ASAP. Custom Ink has no dimensions on what size the screen will be and their website image is not a proper sizing as the online image looks bigger, so the finished screen is smaller than the online order image. Very upsetting and I didn't have the shirts for the event. It was only a 11 shirt order. Poor company, stay away. read more

CustomInk is great. Their customer service is fantastic. They respond to emails really quickly and are extremely responsive. I needed tee-shirts made up for a youth camp I am in charge of and through a series of emails the sizing got confused and I confirmed an order that was incorrect. When I received the tee-shirts in the wrong sizes, I emailed them and they responded right away (today) and offered to fix the error, make it really easy for me to send the shirts back, and are re-printing the shirts I need. I recommend them to anyone! Their service is quick, helpful, and the tee-shirts are darling! read more

I ordered some hoodies that I loved two years ago. Although I loved them I chose to reorder a different ladies cut in a different brand hoodie this next time and they were not fuzzy and cozy and I was broken hearted when I got them. The screen print was beautiful as usual but the actual hoodie was not what I expected size or comfy wise. I reached out to customer service and asked if they could do anything. Normally I wouldn't have asked because they are special order but they have a bunch of stickers that they will make it right if it isn't right so please reach out so I did. They responded just a few hours later and told me that although they couldn't take back the hoodies (to be expected) they offered me a 50% discount on new ones. I am more than satisfied with this and now I can reorder the nice fuzzy champion ones we loved before. I would highly recommend this company as they are fast, the design tool on the site is top notch and they have great customer service. 5 stars! read more

I had a great experience with CustomInk. I called to get help designing and ordering what I needed -- a rush order for a one-off shirt with a custom design. Megan was extremely helpful in advising me which of the raglan shirts I could order as a single, and then working out the design to my liking. I could easily see the options since I was on their web site while we were talking. I didn't have any artwork to give them, but emailed to her a photo I saw on Pinterest of a shirt I liked. It could not be replicated exactly, but she proposed a design which she linked for me to see on the web site. She then made several changes to refine it for me -- each time I was able to view the results. After a few tweeks it was perfect. Process took about 10 minutes. Fast and easy for me, but I think a pretty lot of work for CustomInk to sell just one shirt! I received the shirt 3 days after I placed the order. It's just as it was shown, is a good quality shirt, fits and looks great and I couldn't be happier. Megan could not have been nicer to deal with. read more

I will absolutely order from this Customink again and again. There was a mess up with delivery - not their fault - but they worked so very hard to track this package for me. I have never seen customer service like this. The t-shirts are a good quality and the ink work is great. Please do not hesitate to order from this company they are absolutely deserving of this praise. I ordered t-shirts with "paintball" design work for my boy's birthday party, The kids said this was the best party favor they had ever received and the kids are all wearing their t-shirts for free dress day today at school I am totally, totally satisfied with these t-shirts and amazed that this level of customer service still exists. After 7 positive experiences in the past, I will never use Custom Ink again. I was given a quote before opening my online store. As I prepared the online store, the numbers did not match the quote. The representative made some changes and told me to reload it would now be fine. I hung up reloaded. The prices were still off. I called back. The representative told me to proceed then he would be able to adjust it. Once I opened it, the explanation was that the quote was just an estimate and the calculations in the store are more accurate. There was a $2 difference on each article of clothing which was already expensive. I asked to speak to a manager and for them to review the call that I had the day before with a different representative who assured me that the quote was solid. I was told that all reps have managerial status and there was nothing that could be done. I asked for a return call from someone higher up and I was told that since I was canceling my order (albeit presumably temporarily) that a return call would not be possible. Then, the guy hung up on me. Bye Isaiah. Poor service, lack of courtesy and lack of training on Inkers parts has now cost them a pretty regular customer. Already moved on to Rush Order Tees who is doing the exact job for $3 less a shirt. Everything happens for a reason. read more

I have ordered 3 or 4 times from Customink and you would think I would have learned my lesson. I love the fact you can design your own T-shirt or whatever it may be but that is all I like. I ordered a group of T-shirts and the customer service said they are excellent shirts and come to find out they were horrible shirts. They wear on everyone so sloppy. No one wants to wear theirs again. I ordered one this month and this will be my last time a t shirt for my 17 yr old daughter and a ladies size might I add and when I received it, it looked like a little child's t -shirt. I Just wasted that money!! All customer service said is their very sorry but ladies are cut like that. "Like a freaking Child size.... Never heard that one before". She couldn't even get her arm in the sleeve and it came above her belly button. Now tell me that is a "LADIES SIZE". WATCH WHAT YOU ORDER and WATCH OUT what they tell you in t shirts. I thought I couldn't go wrong with Gilden this time but what they say is because it was a LADIES IS WHY IT DOESN'T FIT. You don't even get money back or another chance in getting the right t -shirt for free. I really think they sent me a Child's by mistake. Very Unhappy. so sad. read more

So I ordered one (1) yes one (1) shirt from them for when my boyfriend is here. I had a simple design and simple instructions. I paid for the shirt and was informed that it would be shipped on 09/26/16 (yes I am aware this was yesterday). I "spoke" (typed) with a "customer service Agent" on two (2) occasions and was told that their system showed my product had shipped, the website said it was still in stage two (2)...for three (3) weeks now......There has only been one (1) e-mail notification and that was showing that I had ordered the product. My boyfriend's visit is coming up and I wanted to have the shirt ready to wear when I pick him up from the airport. (He is a NY fireman and the shirt says Proud girlfriend of a fireman). Unfortunately, I just had a really horrible experience with Custom Ink. I purchased 6 shirts totaling over $300 from Custom Ink in brands (Hanes and Bella) that I own. I felt very confident in my size selection because I own the same shirts in the same sizes. All of the shirts were SIGNIFICANTLY larger than expected. I contacted Custom Ink and told them my problem. They advised me to send the shirts back for inspection and in the meantime to purchase new shirts which I did. I sent an email to Custom Ink with pictures of the shirts with shirts of the same brand including a custom ink shirt to show how much larger the shirts they sent me were. Their solution was to give me 10% off new shirts and have me send the old ones back. Well now, they wont refund my money for the first set, nor have they even returned the shirts to me, so I've spent over $400 on 4 shirts. I am NEVER using this company again. read more

Would never ever do business with them again. Had ordered as a special surpirise birthday present several weeks in advance. Talked to their customer service people after ordering and was assured that if there were ANY problems and it wasn't going to be delivered on time they would let me know. Three days after the missed delivery date I got a cheery phone call from them that the order was beginning to be processed and would come in another four or five days. I called their customer service, and was told that they have some big issue with licensing. Am very, very disappointed because if they knew they had a problem they should have told me up front; I had said two weeks before that I could change the design if there were ANY problems. But was assured that the delivery would be made on time and they would let me know if there were any problems. Terrible, terrible customer service; shop elsewhere!!!! read more
