It was a Saturday afternoon and there was a small queue to get into the store. I didn't have to wait long before I was let in. The store is small but very cute and lovely. I love the decor and how the items were set up boutique style. I also love the touches of homage to Sezane in the city of Washington D.C area. I enjoyed browsing the items, but the selection is very limited FYI. I hope this location remains permanently.

She has a variety of bath and body products, jewelry, candles, t-shirts and hats (most with the logo Black Excellence), and other little trinkets and accessories all made by local DMV artists and curators...AMAZING!! Her personable nature and through knowledge about each items was fantastic...and I look forward to purchasing from her in near future, particularly the sugar scrubs and shea butters. The place is fun! don't get me wrong. however I've been to two now. one in LA and one in DC. today…read morewas DC we were literally the first people in the building. the cleanliness was very bad. the carpets hadn't been vacuumed, cubbies had trash shoes jackets etc, then the rest rooms! my husband used the one next to the rubber ducky, swing part and no toilet paper! nothing! okay fine, we (myself, mother, and my 4yr old daughter) go to the bathroom on the way out?! think it's fine! I see a cleaner lady! think perfect she must've went in and cleaned it! NOPE ‍ first one we went into blood? or poop? was all over the toilet! okay! so I have to move my toddler back and tell her no! then the next 2! not any better toilet paper all over the seat! the floor it was disgusting. so we literally just left looked around the store part for a moment still felt grossed out left and immediately used hand sanitizer in the car. now! this being said I've closed places before so I don't blame the morning shift lady at all. but closing! are you serious? that was horrible! it was gross and honestly a healthy hazzard. I will say the one in La was so amazing that's what made us want to go back. I just doubt I will ever do it again in DC.

For something called "BUBBLE PLANET" I was surely disappointed in the lack of Bubbles in the "Bubble Room." It was the second to last room in the experience, where actual bubbles were being blown periodically. My 1.5 year old, LOVES Bubbles! And so it was briefly exciting when we went in the room and bubbles were blown for about 10 seconds. I figured we were going to be in a room FILLED with bubbles, that we had just in near the end of it when it dissipated. However, wrong. We waited for several minutes, and NOTHING. Even went to the next room (there there was a projector that could project your coloring page onto the screen) and returned, nothing. So, that was wierd. We purchased the "VIP" tickets, that was supposed to be including a VR experience....however, when we got to that place, the person running it said "No, it doesnt matter if you got the VIP. It's still $5." So, we declined and disappointed. For the price, of everything, yikes. Wanting to end with the positives though! The water world room was AMAZING! Very stellar, very fascinating. My family LOVED that room. It was a 360 degree experience. Also enjoyed the room with all of the balloons and the ballpit like rooms, though not for long. Question of hygiene? It didn't appear to be routinely cleaned after continual guests.
