Great personal service. Charlie makes sure he gets your specifics correct. His prices are very competitive for our area.

He did a great job with some work shirts. He was in contact with me the whole process, and how I would like the writing. Very professional.

Helped me with a piece that I needed and he did it right away! Amazing service from a business that I didn't know was so close by. Definitely recommend him! read more

Charlie's Custom Embroidery - Screen Printing/T-Shirt Printing Near Me - Gaithersburg, Maryland

First of all he did great job. I couldn't believe this price of sewing printing compared to other companies. However, when I received my t-shirts, I could not believe the quality. I am the owner of a cleaning company and I have to wash the uniform I wear daily. Machine-sewn prints instead of prints that fall apart when you wash them are a necessity for every company owner. The owner of the business was also very friendly, fast and explaining. I always support small businesses. I definitely recommend!! Atlantis cleaning services read more

Charlie embroidered a jean jacket for me and was super responsive over phone and text and was able to turn the jacket around in 2 days around the holiday. The fonts are slightly limited but he sent me different options to choose from and look at before selecting a final product. You're also able to bring in your own items to embroider for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend! read more

What a jewel of a business! I was looking for a monogramming business that could do a quick turn-around on a personalized tee shirt to give my husband for Fathers Day. I only had a few days to make this idea happen, so I searched the internet and VOILA! I found Charlie's business and it was very close to my home! Charlie said though he was "swamped", he could have it ready in 3 days. This was great news. He suggested I buy a t shirt made with cotton (not polyester) so I shopped and brought him my choice that day. He asked me to write down what words I wanted and he was willing to do a name on the pocket and slogan on the back. The day before pick up I realized I had left off an important word for the logo! He made the correction and my husband LOVED the shirt! I highly recommend CHARLIE'S in Kentlands! ***** read more

Charlie is great! He embroidered handkerchiefs for my son's wedding and did an outstanding job, I recommend.

Amazing service! I called Charlie this morning (Saturday) and he was able to give me a very affordable quote for a two line embroidered name and job title on my white coat. I expected to drop off the item and then pick it up sometime this week, however he was able to squeeze me in his schedule and I received my newly embroidered item within an hour. Charlie is super friendly and reliable -- will definitely be using him for all my embroidery needs! read more

I needed to get a small, custom embroidery job done for a friend's wedding, but none of the "big" places do single piece jobs anymore. A looked online and found Charlie... a guy with impeccable reviews. So, I made the drive from Arlington to The Kentlands to see if he could help. He was wonderful. He gave me lots of personal attention in his otherwise chaotic office space. In the end, the work he did could be called nothing less than artistic. It was perfect. Thank you Charlie!!!! read more

Wouldn't waste my time if you're doing single pieces. I recently had a hat made and the phrase I put on the front and back of the hat were BOTH visibly crooked and off center. When I brought it to his attention he became defensive and said, "it's a minor detail and people might not notice it". As a paying customer, I expect what I paid for and nothing less. I demanded a refund and was told, "I don't liKe dealing with people like you who make issues over something so small". I'd give him one star if he wasn't the only place that did single items. Good luck to whoever trusts this jerk with their money. read more

I first found Charlie's years ago when he was at Lakeforest Mall. He was friendly and helpful, his prices were reasonable, and he did a great job. I panicked when I saw that he was no longer there, but relieved to learn that he only moved to the Kentlands. While his location is a bit hard to find and he seems to be busier (which is good for him), he still delivered the quality that I remembered. Highly recommend! read more

Charlie was so helpful and accommodating. I had purchase two sashes for my upcoming wedding for my bridesmaids and couldn't find anyone that would monogram a product not from their store. Charlie was actually about to leave when I called. He waited for me to arrive and actually did my monograms right on the spot himself. His prices we're more than reasonable. Great customer service and I will definitely be back. read more

I knew this business when they were in Gaithersburg. I'm glad they are still around. I'm willing to travel to get good quality. They are a bit harder to find now, they are on the third floor of a building and parking isn't that great. But as for the quality of their work, they are unmatched. They also keep my records of everything I've done and embroidered on a shirt or hat, so they can look up previous work and do it again if I need more of anything. This is the best service I've encountered as for as custom shirts go. I highly recommend them for any business logo or personalized gift. read more
