I have can in to the shop more than a few times over time. This place has great service and good cuts. That why I go there. But I was told that I could get my hair cut but my service dog must wait outside. I did explain that my dog is a trained And certified. The person began to explain but do I need the dog? My answer was yes. And I was told that he doesn't make the laws. The Dow' still needs to be outside. I have never been told that I could not come it to that place but today not sure what happen. I have served in the armed forces and for my dog that help me to be told to wait outside that a slap in the face. I was mad but I held myself one because if who I am and the other is I had my son with me. I did call a trainer to ask if the law had changed in the last month since I got a hair cut. And no the is still the same. Service dogs are allowed in they just want to believe that a service is not allowed in his establishment. After you answer the post This is from the law please read it might help you there is a lot more than this but this is the bottom line you are wrong on your actions and what you did for someone that does a service to some of the military that comes in to your establishment. Think about it I service as well this was not something that I wanted in my life this was something that was to help me get back in to do the things that seams normal to you. NOW extremely unprofessional staff. Glad I didn't bring the kids today. Never heard so much ridiculous talk about ANYONE'S sex life, drunken habits and the ridiculous lewd and terrible way they talked about women during work hours (in front of all their customers!!) or in ANY professional environment was sick. I have been coming to Custom Cuts since 2015. Before that, I would change barbershops every other month. Custom Cuts is the only barbershop to be consistently of high quality. The barbers all know their styles and what looks good. I don't even pick a specific barber when I go because they are all good. I've frequently changed my mind on something during the cut, and they always work with me no problem. It's great. They will make sure you leave happy. I also like the feel of the shop. It has a very old school barbershop culture to it. You walk in, sign in your name on the desk in the back, and then wait for your name to be called. No frills, no complications. Additionally, the barbers are very real and laid back. They are always polite and easy going and won't fake small talk with you. And they wrap your head with a hot towel afterwards! My haircuts have become a time to kick back and relax. The most I've ever had to wait was 30 minutes. Usually it's 5-10 mins max when I come in on the weekdays. Not gonna lie. I have a simple haircut so I don't expect much and don't want it to cost much either. I came here because of the yelp reviews. I called ahead to see if they were busy and they told me to swing by. I would be 2nd up. Upon walking in. I was like 5th or 6th. It is pretty busy in there and it seemed to be all day. Upon walking in you could tell that these guys know what they're doing. The atmosphere is a little edgy and definitely casual. They all chatting to each other like the old school barber shops. Telling stories and jokes, laughing, and having a good time. I was told they have complimentary drinks while you wait, but I was never offered one so I didn't ask. And the hostess/cashier was all the way in back playing with her phone so I didn't want to bother her. Anyways, my cut takes like 15min max. Dude was done in like 10min, but kept going over it for like another 10min and taking his time, not even asking if it's ok or anything need to be tweaked. I'm sure he was tightening it up and making sure everything was legit, but I would've rather have him clean it up with a straight razor like everyone else was getting done (but he didn't end up doing that).
