I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone, especially women. From the second I got in there, they were rude and short with me, and it only got worse as time went on. There is no reason to have the tone and demeanor they do. I hope they improve their attitude in the future. Classless behavior. read more

Paid $1200 last summer to get my ac fixed but now they tell me I need to spend $240+ to really fix it. Went here for years when it was privately owned and trusted before they sold to Dobbs. No more! read more

Needed a pre-purchase inspection on a used Toyota Sequoia. Asa and the team were a great help in my negotiation. More than worth it. Thanks guys! read more

Do not go here. They charged me $400 when I brought my car in because a check engine light was on. They said they fixed the problem but couldn't make the light go out. They specifically advertise for check engine lights. I had to pay again elsewhere at a legitimate mechanic who knew what they were doing and were able to fix it. Complete waste of money and time. Never going here again. read more

I always get honest service done here. I've been happy with their work for 18 years!

DO NOT GO TO Custom complete Automotive. They will scam you so fast you won't see it coming. They stole a 1,000.00 dollar from my 75 year old mother. We will be completing several steps in getting her money back. Attorney General & Better Business Bureau. My mom has been faithful customer for several years now. So don't think they wont do the same to you if you been going to them already. read more

Really gone down hill, I will never go back, been taking my cars here for almost seven years at one time they were the only ones that I would let touch my car , I had multiple exhaust leaks that I wanted corrected and they didn't even look at the rest of them after telling me they would not install my converter which they told me they would install previously and I waited three weeks for nothing, I get it you want to make $200 profit on your converter too but if you guys had even taken the time to look at the other five exhaust leaks like I asked you to there was money to be made but it's fine read more

I've been taking my car(s) to the St. Louis location for years. Albert, the store manager, and his staff are awesome. They are honest people and provide quality services. This says a lot since I have my own family members in the auto repair business yet I chose to take my car here. I would recommend these guys hands down. Angela Z read more

The business has switched employees several times within the past 3 months. They were very reliable and honest when I was dealing with Lucas and Albert. Once the company obtained a new manager Jason and the mechanic I forgot his name but they tend to lie about parts going bad on your car to milk you more on the price. They told me I had two bad CV axles which would cost me $1100, I went to another shop and I actually only had 1 bad CV axle, which the owner showed me. Don't go to this shop they will milk you and feed you false information about your car. read more

Fast work, competitive prices, reliable work. Had to get my transmission fixed and my break system replaced and fixed. Went and got quotes from 3 other places. This was my 2nd time using this establishment and the service was just as good as the first time! I had the pleasure of working with Patrick and Joshua. Both gentlemen were not just knowledgeable, but also courteous. My vehicle was diagnosed and I was not charged for anything but the services rendered. read more

I came to get my car fixed in 2021 and the issue I had back then ended up being the same issue today. Be careful of what you get done. Definitely shop around to other auto places first before you deal with them. $125 just to look at your car. They doubled in price because of inflation since 2021. There is no discount for checking your vehicle out. Short warranty on whatever they fix. No discount to replace the same part they originally fixed. They will blame whatever happened to the car on you for not keeping it up( even if you did). There's no empathy or sympathy for your situation. If you need your car fixed they make it seem like you have no other choice and they are the only ones that can fix your car. My experience sucked with them. Be careful with your car if you chose them. Do your research and know that you always have other options. read more

Came in for an emission test @7:45 am. Front desk manager seemed annoyed that I was there for that, then told me I would "have to be patient" if I was waiting in a somewhat condescending tone. I don't care, just tell me the time it will take or an estimate - I'm not a child, I'll make the decision if it's worth it. Since you guys don't take appointments for test..... I'm sitting in the waiting room, another customer comes in and is talking to him about a repair when he starts complaining "it's just emission test, emission test, emission test - we're an auto body shop man, I wish they had never started doing those" Looks like you don't want me coming here for auto work, if you make me feel like an idiot whose business isn't wanted for these annoying emission tests that you offer......one service leads to another, you know? Plenty of other local auto service shops to take my custom read more

I cannot recommend this place enough!!!! The customer service is incredible! The guys here are honest, efficient and good at what they do. Albert and Justin went above and beyond to take care of my sudden & timely car issue and saved the day. Ive been to many shops and this one was by far the best experience. Me and my family found our new life long garage. Thanks again guys!! read more

Stopped in this morning to get my safety and emissions. They were able to take it in immediately. 45 minutes later I had passed emissions and failed safety do to a stinking headlight that had a loose connection. I drove home and fixed it and took it right back. They immediately took me back in and cleared it out. I really appreciated that he didn't try to convince me I couldn't fix it myself and that he took it right back in when I returned. There prices seemed a little higher than I like to spend but definitely around average. $30 for an oil change. read more

I am traveling. We're halfway across the country from home and our brakes seem f&@$Ed up. I called Custom Complete and not only did they squeeze me in at the end of their day but explained what happened and was happening. He gave me the information I needed and supported me to make an informed decision and lost work he could've charged me thousands for. He actually charged me nothing, asking only for a good review. I'm so grateful and the brakes are miraculously working better. read more

I have never had a bad experience with Albert, Joe and the rest of the guys at Custom Complete. I take all three of my personal vehicles there. Custom Complete also does all the work on the vehicles for the business I work for. They are fair in pricing and will not try to convince you to replace something that doesn't need it. They have taken the time to inspect cars for us prior to buying them and giving us an honest opinion on what needs fixed. They will price match or beat a lower estimate for repairs. I wouldn't take any of my vehicles anywhere else. read more

I've gone here a few times now and Albert, the dude who seems to be the face of the business, is always very informative in letting me know what's wrong. The first time I went there for a new catalytic converter and they guaranteed the lowest price. Most other shops quoted like $750 or more. They only charged me $550. They let me know that if another shop quoted a lower price, they match that price. They've always fixed what they told me they would in less time and the same price that they quoted. Sometimes they even tighten a few screws here and there if they notice it. And that's super neat. They're not like insanely nice, but they're definitely not mean or rude. I've only ever dealt with Albert, and he's not condescending in any way. I'm a blonde girl in my 20's, so when I walk into an auto shop, people usually assume I know nothing about cars (which I kind of don't but that's not the point here). Albert doesn't treat me like an idiot though. And I really appreciate that. read more

We bought a truck sight unseen. I know, not too smart. State inspection showed we needed a new catalytic converter and some exhaust work. Our mechanic wasn't comfortable doing the work and suggested Custom Complete Automotive. We made an appointment to get a firm estimate after discussing what we needed and receiving a soft estimate. Drop off went great and the estimate came within 2 hours. It was close to the soft estimate. We approved the work. (The estimate was $200 less than where we had the inspection completed.) We expected the truck the next day, but it was ready by close of business. In fact, there was enough time that the team was able to do a few more things for us not on the original estimate. Picking it up before close wasn't an option, so Albert kept it in the bay for us overnight. Much appreciated. Pick up the next morning was as easy as paying and leaving. The team did the original work and additional work we request quickly and efficiently. Oh, the reinspection went great! The truck passed! read more

My husband trusts Custom Complete Automotive. And they give a veterans' discount. We have always had fast service.

On a road trip here from Michigan, my car started acting strange and loud. After searching reviews, I called John Striker, who has wonderful reviews and he said he didn't have time today, but recommended this place that I probably would have otherwise passed by. They were polite, fast, honest and incredibly helpful. Plus, I felt like the price was extremely fair. I'm so glad I came here! read more

Don't bother with this place they put universal catalytic converter on cars. Not the actual specific converter that fits the car my converter became faulty after 7 months. I took my car to another mechanic and not telling them what this place has done or changed because I have had other parts changed out and every part this company put in my car I had to get replaced not even 2 months down the road. I strongly believe this company is only out for money and doesn't care for the customer have spent over $ 1,800 on useless repairs at this shop and will never take any of my cars here ever again dishonest and only looking to make money. read more

These guys have been awesome! Albert has been extremely nice and patient with me trying to explain nosies that my car is making. Friday I towed my car into Complete Custom Auto Service. The owner or manager Albert called me Friday afternoon and said that it was my starter. I had some reservations and told him I'm not going to be paying you to add things onto my car just to test for the real problem. His statement to me was that the starter would start the car and we can figure if it needs anything from there. Well since my car was not starting at all I agreed, but I did verify that he said the starter would start it. This conversation happened in the late afternoon so the probability of him putting it on that night was low. Overnight, I thought about it and since the car was turning over I kinda figured it wasn't the starter. So I called back first thing Saturday and said I don't think it's the starter because it's turning over. Again he told me that he was sure the starter would start it. So I agreed to let him put it on. I get a call later Saturday morni g way in the starter didn't start it. So i reminded him that I told him the starter wasn't the issue. He became argumentative. I was with friends and told him I didn't want them to have to listen to this conversation and I would come into the shop. I came in and he explained why my starter was bad and then gave it to me to have it checked at an autozone. So I did, guess what, the starter was good. When I showed him the printout saying it was good he basically told me they would put the old starter back in a d back it out and let me go elsewhere. So I ask, "you guys put the wrong part on, so now you punish me, by having me pay to tow it elsewhere. Oh, I forgot to mention when they took the starter of they broke the connector to the cellanoid. I mentioned that and then he went completely off on me yelling like i was a child. This is when i raised my voice and saiid STOP yelling at me. He went ballistic, saying that I would pay full price or never get my car back. He then put me out after I tried to go to my car and told me he was calling the police. As I stood outside another mechanic came out and said Albert was stressed that he couldn't fix the car. I don't care, you never treat a customer like that. I don't know.if the police were called, but I forgot about that threat and went to work. So as it stands he's holding my car hostage. read more

After using this business for repairs of three different cars I've come to the conclusion that it is no longer the trustworthy business I had come to rely on. Several months ago I brought in my car to have a check engine light diagnosed and I was told that two different services were indicated. The shop manager recommended I do one of them because it was the one most likely to be causing the problem (an air flow sensor). I was told the repair would cost me $420 and I authorized them to go ahead and replace it. When I arrived to pick it up they told me it would cost $468. I argued with the shop manager and he told me the first price was just an estimate and didn't include the full price of the part or the tax. I was flustered and went ahead and paid it, against my better judgement. I should have said that an estimate is a firm number and that I wasn't going to pay any more than that. I then called their district office and was assured I would receive a return call. The call never came. Now the check engine light is on again and I've been told by a different mechanic that this is the repair they should have done originally. So now I don't trust their judgment or their business practices. I will never go to them again. It's a shame because they used to be so reliable and honest. read more
