I called CK who came out, tested the alternator and found out that the alternator was fine, but it did need a new battery. they replaced the battery and the new serpentine belt within a half an hour. I obviously will not go back to Dobbs anymore as they tried to rip off my 90-year-old mother. I highly recommend CK.

Seriously, these guys are amazing and I love them, and I would give them my first born if I intended to have children. They are always fair, always incredibly honest about what is wrong. If it's a warranty part, they'll send you to the dealership to save you a few bucks, and they always get your stuff done super fast. One of the owners has three daughters, and he is a stickler for not letting young girls get jerked around the way so mechanics do. Seriously, if you are looking for a decent, honest, and quality mechanic, you have to take your car here. Oh, and last time I messed up my car and asked for the phone to call a cab or a friend, the owner said, oh please, I'll give you a ride home, you're Roy's daughter right? Seriously, how nice is that? He just remembered from prior visits. What an awesome garage.

My 2018 Camry was having intermittent electrical issues, so I took it to Lou Fusz, where I had purchased it. A couple hundred dollars worth of "diagnostic work" lead them to recommend $2000 worth of replacement parts, fluids and labor, none of which addressed any electrical issues. After that nightmare, I called Precision Import Auto, and, over the phone, they not only had a theory for what was going wrong, they actually recommended that I take my car somewhere else because they didn't have the equipment to deal with that specific part, rather than have me come in and charge me for diagnostics when they knew there was a good chance they wouldn't be able to fix it.

I've taken my cars here for tires and state inspections. The guys do a good job on minor items like…read moretire changes and inspections. I can't talk to their ability to do major maintenance items. The only complaint I've had was that they always try to up-sell me on services; some of which are not needed. (Like telling me my car needs new CV boots when the ones on the car are 4 months old!!). Last time the mechanic left a stain on my a-pillar from his dirty gloves... But their tires are good and they come with lifetime rotation. They are also very responsive to emergency repairs, for example if needing a tire patched. So In summary, a decent shop and I'll certainly keep buying tires from them. I may or may not do major maintenance items there but time will tell.

In May 2024, they…read moreperformed steering and suspension work on my vehicle, which they later admitted was done incorrectly because the wrong parts were installed. Even after returning to have it "corrected," the issue was never properly fixed. Within a few thousand miles, my vehicle developed severe inner tire wear, clearly indicating improper alignment or suspension work. When I returned, Dobbs denied responsibility and told me to replace the tires at my expense. The most troubling part came when I contacted my extended warranty company and learned Dobbs had submitted warranty claim paperwork containing my signature -- which I never signed or authorized. I was never informed that a claim was filed in my name. This experience has resulted in financial loss, safety concerns, and ongoing disputes with both the shop and my warranty provider. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend exercising caution before trusting this location with repairs or warranty claims.
