Brought my car here after breaking down during my work day. I was told it needed a new battery immediately and that there were some other prongs or something that needed replacing within 5 years. The battery was changed and I continued about my day only to break down three more times in an attempt to getunt to another shop. It is currently at the shop being worked on and prove that couldn't wait 5 years and needed immediate replacement are being fixed. It would have been helpful to have everything vital repaired immediately and not to have had a new battery put in only to continue to break down . This was incompetence at its best! read more

The male technicians here have helped me out a few times with adding air to my tires without appointments or heads-up. They have always been incredibly helpful, friendly and courteous toward me. I needed a quick check on my car battery today before I drive 20 mins to the automotive that replaced it 6 months ago. They offered free battery check here, but the receptionist said they don't have opening to do a full check. A technician happened to walk in and offer to do a quick computer check, which was truly all I needed. Thanks again for always being willing to help! read more

Made an appointment for 2 tires and an alignment 8 days ahead. Told the man on the phone that I would be there around 8 am and if possible will need to be finished by 11:30 am. He insured me that it would be no issue and will order my tires to be ready when I arrive in 8 days. When I arrived 8 days later the man at the front desk has a very sarcastic rude attitude while I asked a few questions. Finally he informs me that the tires are not at the shop and he will not have them in time for me to be leaving by 11:30 am. Firestone has always been my least favorite shop, but I unfortunately had to go here to have matching tires. If you're in the same boat as me, you will be better off ordering the tires yourself and taking them to a mom and pop shop. read more

Took car in I'd bought a month earlier for tranny drain and fill. They did that OK, I think, but when they checked for other service recommendations, they got it all wrong. To wit: It deserves less than one star due to negligence and outright lying. Tech said cabin filter and engine air filter were checked and were OK; neither were, and both needed replacing. Tech said rear brakes shoes and drums needed replacing at cost of $663.96, but they did not. A week later, tech at a different shop said it was the dirtiest cabin filter he ever saw. Worst for me, too. Even the duct was clogged with fibers from what appeared to be a mouse nest. Engine filter was dirty, too. Brakes passed safety check a month prior when I bought the car, and again later when checked at another shop, the tech said they were OK for awhile. Service mgr. offered a free oil change; I thought something more should've been offered for three out of three errors, and the last one $600 plus! He said I could talk with store mgr. A few days later I did, and he tried to explain it all away, was nonchalant about it, and make excuses for the tech - he was young and and rushed. He even had the gall to say he wouldn't have recommended engine filter replacement, despite no light coming through when holding it up to the window! Another excuse - they only have six minutes to check a laundry list of items. To check cabin filter you remove three screws and remove glove box. That takes five minutes alone! He said tech shouldn't have checked the box saying he checked it if he didn't (Duhhh). I think the tech must be his relative. Brakes? Mgr. said well they oughta be OK for awhile, too. Free oil change was offered to make it right. Not. I wonder how many other people have been totally screwed by these lying, negligent, excuse makers. I've taken my cars here for tires and state inspections. The guys do a good job on minor items like tire changes and inspections. I can't talk to their ability to do major maintenance items. The only complaint I've had was that they always try to up-sell me on services; some of which are not needed. (Like telling me my car needs new CV boots when the ones on the car are 4 months old!!). Last time the mechanic left a stain on my a-pillar from his dirty gloves... But their tires are good and they come with lifetime rotation. They are also very responsive to emergency repairs, for example if needing a tire patched. So In summary, a decent shop and I'll certainly keep buying tires from them. I may or may not do major maintenance items there but time will tell. read more

The first time I came here I was bringing in my popped tire/broken rim in and my new rim. The guy working the front desk must have seen me attempting to grab it all from my car at once and came out to help grab them. He quickly helped with everything I needed and help re-load the new tire in my car (he offered to put it on but I declined). The second time I came for an emissions inspection, they quickly did the inspection and did not try to sell me on any immediate fixes, just told me a few things to keep an eye on (which are all things I have been pointed out before so I know it was legitimate). From what I've seen the services have been affordable and the team is great! read more

Never again. The workers here condescend, they overcharge, and they try to sell you services you don't need. One time they offered to replace the blades on my windshield wipers...for a whopping $40. Save your time and your money and find another mechanic. read more

Sent my 70 yr old mother up to have a small nail in her tire repaired. They told her that they couldn't repair and that she actually needed 4 new tires at $660+. She politely declined and went to Costco to get the same tires for less than $500 installed. The Costco worker looked at her tires and told her they were fine and still had at least 15k miles on them. read more

I went there to get 4 new tires... 500 They called me and said I needed new brakes/pads and said that is an additional 500. I said ok and then I got there and it was 1400. When I got home my boyfriend said I did not need all that, and they played me for a fool because I am a woman. My car still was not right, a roll stability sensor kept alarming, so I took it to a mechanic who put on new front wheel bearings and who said I was lucky I came in when I did. Now the sensor is off and car feels right. I was hitting the brakes and it felt like my car was skidding forward and not really stopping. I called Firestone to ask about this, to be compensated, that I was upsold on something I did not need and I have had no response. I would not go there, especially if you are a woman. In this day and age you would think that this kind of stuff would not happen.. I am happy my car is doing fine now, sad they robbed me. read more

Took my car here after getting a flat. Saw the nail right in The middle of the tire. They called and said they couldn't patch it. Then said I needed 4 new tires that it would be bad to replace just the one and that the tread was low on the other tires. Mind you these tires only had 15,000 miles on them. Cheapest they could do was $900(not a truck). I needed the car, so I had them put on the 1 new tire and I would get the old tire patched myself and use the new tire as a full size spare. Got there to pick up my car and old tire a few hours later and they said they didn't have my old tire anymore. BS.. They just knew the tire could be patched and didn't want me to find that out by taking it somewhere else or hell I could have patched it myself. I should have just taken care of this myself and stayed clear of Firestone. It's obvious that they were lying to me tying to bump a $30 bill into a $900 bill. Ridiculous stay clear. read more
