I have to say, I've had some pretty bad experiences at car service shops, but this Discount Tire is definitely not one of them. I was able to quickly & easily schedule my appointment for a tire rotation & balance on a Friday morning only a few days in advance. The check-in process was nice and allowed me to notify them when I was on the way as well as when I actually arrived. I had a 9:15am appointment, so I arrived a few minutes early at 9:05am. They quickly checked out my car, got it into the shop, and I was ready to hit the road again by 9:25am. Considering my tire rotation & balance was absolutely free and it took barely any time at all, I'd say the value was definitely off the charts. This visit reaffirms how highly I regard Discount Tire, and this location really makes me want to stick with them for all of my future tire needs! read more

Had plenty of availability and I was able to book the time I needed only a week in advance! The location had plenty of parking in front of the store, and the staff were plenty helpful and not overly salesy. He simply informed me that I needed new wipers, but I should be okay for a few weeks since there's no rain in the forecast. My appointment was 9:15a and I was out of there by 9:45! Not like the other stores where you're waiting at least an hour. I definitely recommend booking online, they prioritize you over walk ins. I will definitely keep coming back!! read more

Another incredible experience at Discount Tire! Unfortunately, I've had the worst luck with nails in my tires, but this place has saved me on four occasions now! One of my plugs failed recently, so I scheduled an appointment online for the next day to have it looked at. Scheduling an appointment online is super straightforward and simple. I swear every employee who works here is unbelievably friendly and professional. Top tier customer service. They're great at explaining everything to you so that you feel informed and like you're part of the process. I drive a Model Y Tesla, and they're very knowledgeable about all the Tesla quirks. I realized I had not one but two screws in my tire, I called Discount Tire to see if they could get me in without waiting all day. Alex did a great job, got my bronco in right away took care of my tire, balanced it and checked the other tires and got me back out on the road quickly, and didn't even charge me! I am very disappointed in Discount Tire. I arrived at 9:15 am today, My 3 tires were ordered and were promised to be delivered and installed this afternoon. Only two out of the three tires arrived (Explain That!) They blame it on the weather! I needed my car tmw for an appointment but now won't have it. Picked out tires online, called the 888 customer service line. The staff I spoke with was helpful and found the tires I wanted. She offered to have them shipped to a store closer to my residence. I opted for the South County store and got a same day appointment. The staff there were all friendly and seemed to have been working together for a while. The store had people in and out during my less than one hour wait. I have never had tires put on so quickly! Well 1st they installed the 2 new tires on the front wheels instead of rear wheels as agreed. but real problem was they broke my tire monitoring system TPMS light came on after installation. Store manager Bob Gutierrez refused to fix it claiming "oh its a older truck and maybe it " Timed Out" while we wore working on it. then wanted to charge me $ 136 DOLLARS FOR 2 Tire monitoring systems TOTAL RIPOFF WOULDNT MAKE IT RIGHT AFTER THEY DEFINITLY BROKE IT DONT UNDERSTAND IT????????? my tires were patched elsewhere This place will not patch a tire they have every excuse in the book I took a tire up there to get patched and they refused a couple months later I told my nephew to go up there and get his tire patched they refused if you need a tire patched I recommend going anywhere else avoid the frustration read more

I stopped off today with my 2012 bmw after my tire cut a huge hole in it from the amazing stl streets! Ha! Lucas G. Helped me out! He was understanding of the situation and got me in and out with a new tire in less than 30 minutes. Literally! The price point on the tire was great, and he helped me pick out what was best for my car (didn't upsell, and wasn't annoying about it. I needed tires for my Tesla and their service center wasn't an option, as they weren't able to get to me for weeks. I called this Discount Tire and spoke with someone, explaining my situation and what type of tire I needed. While they didn't have them in stock, they were able to order the tires and book me for an appointment within days. The service experience was excellent. I arrived near my appointment time, they took my car and installed four tires in less than 1.5 hours (while it appeared that all their bays were servicing other cars). The price of the tires were reasonable and the car was ready very close to the time predicted - I think it was actually a few minutes early. Since I paid for the service at check-in, they gave me my paperwork and my keys and out the door I went. FINE TIRES - The tires we purchased performed as expected in all aspects and were good. POOR QUALITY SERVICE -When we returned to Discount Tire for a free 6000-mile tire rotation and balance, unfortunately, the four-wheel studs were damaged from cross-threading one on each wheel when Discount Tire reinstalled them. Although they noted studs on two wheels were damaged, we found when having them checked at another shop, Sant Auto, and replaced, four-wheel studs one on each wheel were cross-threaded and needed to be replaced costing us $200. read more

So discount tire has been my go to for about 10 years. Obviously not all this location because they are fairly new and I think they are fairly new to St. Louis. I used discount tire when I lived in Arizona for new tires and then again when I lived in Michigan for pressure checks here and there and my experience was top-notch. Fast forward to last night where I picked up a nail or something on I 44 and got a flat. Was able to get the spare on and got a 9:15 appointment this morning to have them check out my tire. At first we thought maybe the sidewall was bad, but it turns out they were able to patch it. FOR FREE. On tires that were not purchased through discount tires because they were on the car when I bought it. Their business model is their business, but that was a pleasant surprise on what could've been a very expensive day. Their communication was clear and I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me on anything. When I need tires I will go back to them and I couldn't be happier that they finally have a presence in St. Louis! read more

They are unable to balance my tires. Its a scam company. They sell you rims then refuse to balance unless you also buy new tires. Everywhere is like this now. People have lots of money apparently to blow on tires cams... i don't. read more

Branden was an absolute god send! There was some confusion over my online order and the system cancelled my install. I was in desperate need of tires and he worked tirelessly to get to the bottom of the problem and let me get my tires put on. They were super fast getting all 4 on in less than an hour.
