So when I was looking for a remote start for my current 'working K9 van' Long Radio was a natural place to go. Fortunately for me I recieved a top of the line remote start, LCD key fob, and the Drone mobile app subscription service system for my birthday and I went to Long Radio in West Springfield. I was delighted that Long Radio, 30 years later, once again did not disappoint!! They are efficient, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any and all questions. Truly, they are ALWAYS willing to answer questions when I call. They either know the answer already, go get a tech to speak to me directly, or they go ask and bring me an answer every single time. I never get 'we'll call you later' the sort it then and there and if I need an appt they put me in as fast as they can or they tell just to pop over and they'll take a quick look. When I needed a modification they did it on a 'pop over when you can' basis and at no charge!! They even put a safety sticker on my engine when I asked for a particular system by-pass as I have some special needs with my system because of the working dogs. They always find or try to find a way to adjust the system to what I need or clearly explain why something is happening, like the doors in the Honda lock and then unlock and then lock again during remote start up, which has to do with Honda's internal check system not with the unit we installed. If you're looking to get a system installed and want a company that's going to be around decades later and who are kind, helpful, cheerful, and go the extra mile to help you then look no farther than Long Radio. The person we often speak to is Dave and, although they're all great, he has a really solid breadth of knowledge, especially regarding Honda systems. The next time we need another remote start installed we'll go there. PS: even the Honda dealer recommended Long Radio to my best friend when she needed a remote start and they did a great job once again.

I decided to YELP Cart Starters and it recommended Mobile Car Pro in Shrewsbury, I emailed Scott and the very next morning he called me to ask a few follow up questions and a short while later we booked an appointment for me to bring in my summer beater Miata the very next day. I arrived at 8:30-- the shop is in the back of the complex it's located in along with a Baseball camp and a dance studio- but it's clearly marked with signage so you can find where to go. I pulled in and they took my car right away. Service was very reasonable and I was on my way about two hours later. Great guy-- really happy with the result, he went above and beyond and took the time to explain how this new key fob works. Some things to know; the shop is located about 1/2 mile from anything useful, like coffee or breakfast. There is a Honey Dew up the road but you're taking your life in your hands if you try to walk Route 20 for that distance so go before. The waiting room is very sparse, there are a few interesting things to look at, and they have free Wi Fi that works great but unlike the other shop I used to go to there is not a lot there to entertain me while I wait. So keep that in mind, bring things to stay busy. A+ service, and the starter works great.

Got there, parked went in and waited, everyone was in the back, the shop area, one of the guys saw me and told another guy, they were working on or playing with a sound system, there was a little kid on a shop chair or cart rolling around while others were cranking up some music very loud on a system. I figured, give them a few minutes someone will come out to the lobby/entrance and ask me what's up, except nobody ever came. They left me standing there without acknowledging me or saying they would be right out or anything. I waited a few minutes and left, I figured they either didn't want my business or just didn't like the look of me for some reason, so I left, found another shop to do the work. At the very least someone should have either motioned to me that they see me and will be with me in a minute or come to the front to tell me, hey we see you, give me a few minutes to finish up and we will have a look at your car or something, but to just ignore me wasn't going to work for me. People that disrespect their potential customers don't have good business skills and I really don't want to get involved with someone learning their way, I need a pro. We have several vehicles that need installs and a fleet of work vans so I can't waste my time with amateurs. Buyer beware, if you don't mind unprofessionalism and waiting while being ignored as if your time is worthless or being treated like they are doing you a favor to acknowledge you then this is your shop.

But I got basically same day service and they got both windows, rear windshield, and the corner port glass all done in like an hour. I will say it was a little on the pricier side? Maybe I'm just poor but the middle option was twice as expensive as the cheapest one (I got the middle option because it was recommended and they let me see the difference firsthand). But the same store in Pittsburgh was charging me $100 more than this place did so as far as I'm concerned I definitely got what I paid for. Plus I got lifetime warranty Great service!
