The proprietor of JB Electronics, in less than 24 hours, thoroughly cleaned the CD drive and tested it without any help from Bose. Now it plays perfectly the same CD's on which it had been failing. Moreover, the service was relatively inexpensive -- about $75 (which certainly beats paying $600 or more for a new Bose device). The proprietor is semi-retired and works out of his basement. Don't let that fool you -- he knows what he is doing, and is perfectly honest and straightforward. I recommend his service without qualification.

Only needed the electrical connection, so JB hardwired it to the board, for 1/5 of what the TV cost, or buying new. Well worth it, and unconventional to the big box option of ordering a whole new board + labor cost, which is what "squad" told me was required. Go to this guy. He's much more practical! Now I've got tv back in perfect working order! Both my wallet and I are happy.

He never went thru any of them with me. When I was asked how many there were, I'd say between 125-150 albums. Years 1950-1985. So after being told how honest they were, I did accept the low offer. I was then shown by this person the value of some of my albums. I was totally lied to!!! Don't believe them. Most of the time I can find what I need. The guys that work there are mostly kids or young men and women and usually don't know anything about electronics so you have to be prepared when you go in. I think radio shack has become mostly about selling cell phones so it's not like it used to be. I hear that Radio Shack headquarters is going to have to close a few hundred stores so I'm hoping this won't be one of them. It has served me well for many years. I miss the old days when they had the battery club. LOL They gave you a card for free and you could pick out one free battery a month. They would punch the card each time you picked one up. I used to get a free 9 volt every month.

Target is one of my go-to big box department stores whenever I travel. I can always find some…read morebottled water, replacement travel-sized toiletries, office supplies, and occasionally a grocery section where I can pick up carrot sticks and dried cranberries for snacks. This particular Target inside of the Holyoke Mall had all of that, and more. It's a bit tricky to find the entrance to this store from the outside of the mall, as it's located up on the second level of the parking deck, and you have to wander around the inside of the mall before you find the entrance. Once inside, you'll find a very clean store with quite the selection of merchandise. The health & beauty area is located near the back door to the parking lot, and that's where I found the low-priced travel-sized toothpaste, mouthwash, razors, deodorant, etc. After that it was up and down the aisles of the grocery section, and a quick tour through all of the general merchandise. Do yourself a favor and look through the greeting cards section while you're there. These are some of the smirkiest and most hysterical cards that I've ever seen, and I'll usually pick up several to send out to family members throughout the year. They are seriously funny, and in some cases, wildly inappropriate. This is a great place to just pop in if you need a few basic items, or a store where you can wander the aisles and do a lot of your shopping.
