Aaron is amazing--he helped me with exactly what I needed for my car. I truly believe he deserves a raise and should be a manager. Thank you, Aaron, for your outstanding customer service! Look for Aaron and you won't be disappointed. You're welcome in advance! read more

Amazing experience, staff member Jakob was really helpful. Definitely recommend coming here for anything radio/speaker/subwoofer related. 10/10 customer service read more

what can i say about safe and sound? i don't think words exist to express how important customer service is to aaron, he knows his inventory inside and out and he goes out of his way to serve you. i'd give way more than a 5 star rating, he's truly awesome at his job. kevin and felix are masters at their game, this is my fourth vehicle in which they install an audio system, i would not hesitate to have them install my next audio system. they go above and beyond wiring up a system, when done the install looks like a factory install. i'm so proud of their work, i show it off to everyone. i've recommended and will continue to recommend safe and sound to anyone and everyone. rei read more

I recently bought a JBL bar700 and wish I didn't wait so long. Totally pleased with it and the customer service given to me by Aaron.

They did good job installing my radio, and I had something go wrong and they fixed it

Aaron has been fantastic. I drove three and a half hours with my DAC to ensure the Lumin Transport would be compatible. He was ready when I got there and Aaron helped me every way needed and possible. Since then he has been fully supportive as needed two hundred percent. read more

Excellent customer service. Ordered a set of open box speakers in Walnut finish. Received a call the next day that they actually only had the white color in open box. Stated they'd be getting a shipment of the walnut new later in the week and offered to ship that out for the open box price, which I took them up on. Arrived prior to estimated delivery, well packaged and in perfect condition. Very impressed. read more

AARON really sets the standard for customer service! I picked up vinyl as a hobby during the quarantine and nabbed my very first limited edition vinyl (attached photo to boost review visibility). Next step: put together a killer turntable setup. I had no idea where to start. My best friend recommended Audio Technica, but I fell in love with the aesthetic of the Rega Planar 1 Plus upon first sight. When I called the shop for a stock check, I explained to Aaron my core budget excluding a sound system. He showed me I was absolutely selling myself short with the Planar 1 Plus. After introducing me to the Planar 3 with an Elys 2 Phono Cartridge, he thoroughly explained the differences between the different Planar models, the importance of cartridge upgrades, and then walked me through the bestselling turntables he'd set up recently. I feel so much more confident now and am so grateful for his guidance. FIVE STARS for AARON's killer knowledge and stellar attention to detail :) read more

Bought two home systems from Aaron at Safe & Sound a few years ago. Both systems are amazing. Every time guests come over they are super impressed with the sound quality. One is a surround sound and the other standard stereo. The surround sound has so many play modes like "Super Stadium" that sounds just like being in an arena. Both systems have incredibly clear sound, even when turned way up. (Both systems are capable of rupturing ear drums with crystal clear music...LOL) Needless to say, I'm very happy. In terms of customer service, this place can't be beat. I did have an issue with a high-end subwoofer (I damaged it myself). I fully expected to be on my own but not the case! Safe & Sound helped me through the warranty process and fully resolved...no questions asked. These guys rock! I would recommend these people to anyone! If your looking for any kind of sound equipment...consider these folks 1st! Great Job. John. Suffield, CT read more

Absolutely perfect experience. Visited the showroom once to listen to some higher end Focal bookshelf speakers. I spent about two hours listening to the Sopra1 and the Diablo1s. After spending some time deciding whether I definitely wanted to upgrade, I called Aaron to set up a time to demo the speakers again and make a final decision. Aaron set the speakers up with my current amp and receiver. He was patient enough to switch them back and forth a few times. After spending a considerable time listening to some of my favorite tracks, I decided on the Sopra1s. Just go them home, set them up, and couldn't be happier. They sound great out of the box, and have'not even been broken in. read more

First class. This is the second Kenwood Multimedia Receiver for my car I bought from Safe & Sound, the first being in 2015. I came back to them not only because the first installation was great but also because of the support I received with any issues I had through those 9 years. Their standards haven't changed, reasonable prices, quality products and excellent professional installation. read more

Great service, I purchased an AVR from them it had a problem a few weeks in use They diagnosed the problem and had a new receiver to me in a few days Thanks for the great service I will buy from Safe and Sound again read more

Professional and helpful assistance. I was completely satisfied with with the advice provided and ultimately the purchase.

We were looking for new speakers and they set us up with several pairs in a private sound room. Sales people were great. And when I had a problem with a music streamer they were totally great about it. Trustworthy. Nice. It's a great place to stereo shop even if you aren't buying $25000 speakers. I'll be back if I ever need anymore hifi stuff. read more

Excellent customer support! My first order was for a second Yamaha A-S801 integrated amp. Decided to go for an open box deal to save hundreds and the amp arrived in pristine condition! As it was never opened. Second purchase was for a pair of Polk R700 speakers - again open box and Daniel informed me they took them out of the boxes to demo for a customer and then back in the box they went. Then they shipped to me. Saved $500!!! I'm a customer for life. Highly recommend this store! Just wish I didn't live 3000 miles away! read more

I went there today. First off the showroom is amazing. My remote start wasn't working. Aaron came out in the torrential downpour rain and figured out my antenna was unhooked. He was Great! So happy with these guys. I highly recommend Safe and Sound! read more

Wow that fuller rd facility! Thank you for making a perfect place to shop. You did it right.

I was searching for Floorstanding speakers and made a couple of trips from Albany NY. I was able to be set up with control of the music suiting my tastes. No hard sell tactics here, just a pleasant vibe. Bought Klipsch Heritage Heresy in the end. Wonderful website, too. Highly recommended. read more

This place absolutely rocks. I came here to look for a new amp and some cables for my monitors, and Aaron (The Sales Manager) was a huge help. At no point did I feel like he was trying to get me to spend outside of my budget, or sell me an amp that wasn't the absolute best fit for me. I've been more than happy with my purchase in the days since, and I can safely say I'll be back very soon. Although Safe & Sound sells mostly online to the best of my knowledge, having a HIFI store of this caliber so close to home is HUGE. read more

Had an issue with Alexa not working on an NAD product I had purchased, and had reached out to the manufacturer and BlueSound several times, but was not getting the right response. So I called and spoke to Aaron. From the very beginning he was super professional and followed up with me like he said he would. Safe and Sound apparently has direct contacts with the manufacturer and their engineer's, so a few days after I spoke with Aaron a representative from the manufacturer contacted me and they said they are investigating the issue. Now it's fixed and I'm a happy customer. If you're looking to purchase from Safe and Sound, just know that their after sales support is excellent! And make sure you ask for Aaron. read more

GREAT Service, Fast Shipping and Technical Information/Advice!! When I decided it was time to upgrade my Stereo AV Receiver I mentioned that to a friend of mine and he advised me to call Safe and Sound, even though we live in Phoenix, AZ. Now I owe him Lunch!! They were very helpful from when I did a LIVE CHAT and asked for advice given the speakers I had and what I wanted to do, and then they advised to call Dave...... Dave took it a step further and gave me more technical information as well as letting me know about a NEW Model that had not been released yet... It turned out to be the PERFECT match for my needs........ Waited a week until it was released and got one of the first units..... Sadly it was DOA (turned on but froze during set up) so I called Dave who walked me through a couple of tests and determined it could not be 'reset'. They initiated a return and shipped a new units ASAP!!! Love the unit and the fact that you can call in the future to ask questions (and my friend had an issue after a month and the helped him walk through a factory 'reset' that was not in the manual, that fixed the problem!!) read more

S&S are absolutely the best for purchasing audio equipment, hands down. I could not be more pleased with the quality of customer service and the speed of shipping. David is outstandingly helpful to work with and answered all of my questions. I'm in the process of updating all of my home audio equipment and I know where I will be purchasing from in the future. read more

I have been buying equipment from David at Safe and Sound for over 10 years. With the new store, it is "too much candy" for the eyes and ears. I just picked up a Marantz AV10, BluSound Node, and SmarTractor last Saturday, and I got to see the finished new store/showroom. I was in total shock and awe of the place. They have things for $100 and things for over $100,000. Very futuristic with the lighting, demo rooms, even the detail down to the plates for the plugs and lights. The Staff is very very very knowledgeable and are able to walk you through the pros and cons. They take pride down to the detail of dusting and cleaning so that there IS NOT one speck of dust in the entire place. As a point on the Marantz AV10, it is a major upgrade in all regards relative to the Marantz AV8805 which I also got from them. Well worth the purchase and from the right people for any issues going forward. I have seen David start with the small store in Chicopee, MA, building things up, and working himself ragged. As a person, I just don't see people working or driven to such a level of customer service, as he does for the sake of his pride and joy in music and electronics. I cannot recommend this place enough, whether you deal with them in person or through the internet, you will be impressed. What is also impressive is that he often quotes his dad as his inspiration and model in business, and to hear of the side projects that his dad does to help towards the success of the business. BTW: I am not related to David. read more

I trust their expertise and they put their customers as their number one priority which is a rarity these days.

My initial contact with Safe & Sound was with Dave who helped me make a decision on a network receiver. I ended up purchasing the Yamaha r-n602 at a very good price and I have never been so happy with my purchase! I was treated with utmost respect by Dave and would recommend Safe & Sound to anyone looking for quality products at a reasonable price! read more

Had an awesome experience working with Aaron initially to upgrade the stereo components in my Tundra. He made great recommendations based on the budget I told him. Then on the install Kevin went above and beyond to make sure the system sounded excellent. Great place, would highly recommend. read more

Professionals. That's what these guys are - professionals. I went through the Compustar dealer page and found Safe & Sound who does installations for 2 way alarm and starter. I reached out to David and we had a 20 minute conversation about what system would be best for my needs and application. I put a deposit down and set an appointment to their shop in a week. David was extremely knowledgeable and never pushed a sale. I drove 1.5 hours one-way (do it once, do it right) to meet the guys at the shop. They have a nice lounge with Wi-Fi and across the street from a diner. I've had 4 different Compustar alarms in the past decade, and not one installer sat down with me and walked me through all the options. Kevin did. It was great to customize the options on my alarm. Throughout the day, David and Kevin (installer) kept me up to date on the progress of the alarm install. When the alarm was finished, Kevin walked me through how to operate the remote etc. I said my farewells. And this is where Safe & Sound goes over and beyond any shop. I drove about a mile or two and noticed a flat tire - I went back to Safe & Sound (after business hours). Without hesitation, they checked all my tires and we found a nail in one of the tires. They jacked up my car, took off the wheel, plugged the tire, and put it back on. I drove it a mile and the TPMS shut off and I called them to say thanks. And yes, they did this all in the rain and it wasn't even their nail. I highly recommend Safe & Sound. Rare to find people that take pride in their work and these guys do. read more

If you look at my review history, very rarely do I give 5-stars to anywhere because I feel there has to be a rating for truly excellent places. Safe & Sound is one of those places. A business that is small enough where customers mean something and large enough to always be able to take care of your needs. The guys who work there are the best around. I've been there many many times over the years since I was old enough to drive. I'm always very hesitant to let people work on my vehicles, especially when it comes to aftermarket products like remote start systems etc. Over the years they have always carried the best quality products and today is no exception.. In addition to quality components, the quality of installation cannot be matched; and they stand by it! My remote start / alarm I had installed has worked perfectly and since I'm a technician myself, I checked out their work (as I always do) and I was not disappointed.. The wiring was clean and wrapped perfectly. Like it was installed at the factory! I checked a few connections and as I expected they were soldered! May seem like nothing but it's time-consuming and not the easiest way to do it, but it is the best.. With a product that incorporates into your vehicles security and starting systems, you 100% want the highest quality install and that's what you get.. A true one-of-a-kind business that makes you feel good handing them your money because you know they will earn it and keep you as a customer. Other small businesses should look to them as a model for doing business read more

David and Safe & Sound are simply outstanding. I have only ordered with them online, but the quality of their audio line products, pricing especially on open box/refurb, communication and responsiveness are second to none. I have ordered twice recently, for a Martin Logan sub and a bookshelf speaker, and in both cases the orders shipped in less than 24 hours. I had an issue come up with the sub shortly after installing, and David immediately resolved the issue for me. Customer service can't be taken for granted anymore, and David really gets it. They have a customer for life. read more

Very accommodating. Excellent service. Aaron excels at customer service. I will drive back from CT to do business here. Recommend without reservation. read more

I stumbled upon Safe and Sound because I was done with Crutchfield. I bought a AVR from Crutchfield two years ago and I had problems right from the beginning. It got to the point that the unit became useless. Crutchfield's only response was that what was happening shouldn't happen. Denon said the same thing. Crutchfield wouldn't even post my review of the unit so I started shopping elsewhere for speakers. That's when I found Safe and Sound. David diagnosed the problem right away and it was an easy fix. Now everything is working great. It's much better working with the same person each time and Safe and Sound is where I'll be shopping from now on. read more

I needed a new CD player to replace my 25 year old Nakamichi. Since I had bought from them before and was very satisfied, I ordered the Marantz 8006 with David's help. Great CD player! It does everything. As always, superb service from Safe and Sound! read more

If I could give these guys more than 5 stars I would!!! Best customer service I have ever experienced. Fantastic customer service! I purchased an NAD amplifier in December and it had some issues. Dave told me it needed replacing and he overnighted my new amplifier as soon as he received tracking from the return shipment. I think I received the new amplifier within three days of calling for service. And he was very friendly about the whole thing. The process was simple and easy and I am happy so far with my new amplifier. I highly recommend this company. read more

Great experience! I am very pleased with the service and the product. David communicated very well and kept me informed of the order and shipping progress. He was very nice and professional when he took my order over the phone and answered all my questions courteously. They shipped a USA product with full warranty. I would definitely purchase from them again. Highly recommended. read more
