A disaster from start to finish (including damage from the repair). Sloppy. I gave them a second chance but it was not worth it. On top of this if you are a woman you will not get the same service, even if you arrive first. Do yourself a favor, choose another place! read more

Seriously, people in Los Angeles need to STOP HITTING MY CAR! I was here a few months when my neighbor decided to sideswipe my car while parking then pretend it wasn't her. Um, honey... there's a matching scratch on the front bumper of your car. With loose paint on it. That matches mine. Exactly 21.5" from ground level. You really shouldn't consider going into criminal defense law. I actually made an appointment elsewhere, and took my car in on a Thursday morning, before I left for a long weekend, so that I could pick it up Tuesday morning when I returned. Except that when I dropped it off that Thursday, they said they forgot to mention that they were closed for the holiday weekend and that they wouldn't get started until Tuesday morning, and they'd have it for me by the end of the following week. I can't even begin to tell you how annoyed I was with them. I left, vowing never to return. That's when I called my insurance adjuster and asked him for the name of their recommended shop, again. It was Custom Auto Craft. Dropped off the car on a Wednesday, drove home Friday afternoon, right as rain. That's all I wanted. A painless repair on my door. Well, and for my neighbor to disappear never to be seen again. But I can't hold it against a shop for not having good mob connections. Perhaps I need to move to Chicago. Two weeks later, sitting still in traffic, WHAM! Knocked from behind, at a red light, into the car in front of me. Both very large SUVs driven by very small women. Just sayin'. I got to work 30 minutes after the accident, called in the claim, called Custom Auto Craft, and they sent someone to deliver a rental car to me and pick up my Mini Cooper and return it to its second home... Gotta like that. Rear-ended at 8:20am and by 10:30am my rental car was in the faculty parking lot and my Mini was already en route to be repaired. So last night my neighbor (new one this time) was parked way over her line, and I had to squeeze my NEW car into the compact spot I was assigned (as a Mini Cooper owner) and I nudged the concrete pillar. Note to self: Apparently I can survive a blood pressure spike of 500% and should have become an astronaut. I took my new car into Custom, and they said they'd buff it out for me for free on Monday, see if they can minimize the scratching, since I'm a regular. Not that I'm excited to be the "Norm on Cheers" of a body shop, but good to know that repeat customers are well-treated. Four stars instead of five because to be fair, I have to see how both cars look when they're all finished. Happy to upgrade if everything looks great when they're done... do me right, boys. I had an accident several weeks back, I took my car to Custom Auto Craft. My point of contact was Edward, I was able to make my appointment to drop my car the next day, left my car and was called a couple of days later, letting Me know that my car ready! -Ahead of schedule. I picked up my car and was amazed at the quality in craftsmanship in the repair of my vehicle. I could not tell it had been in a accident. Truly happy with the finished product. I will definitely pay them a visit should I need to have my car repaired again. I was also surprised to hear that they do auto maintenance service as well! Custom Auto Craft is the BEST! Starting with Kiara at the front desk - she is smooth and efficient in handling the scheduling and answering questions throughout the repair process. My wife and I got into an accident right in front of the shop. Somone took a left turn right into us. Eddie and Eric ran out immediately. Gave us bottled water. Arranged to keep our car in their lot, they drove us to car rental shop and hooked us up with a rental car. They also had us speak to an attorney who was very calming . These guys were unbelievable. They went so far beyond the call of duty it's was truly touching. They have my business for life. People like this deserve your business. I assumed that with the other party's insurance paying for my car's body work after a fender-bender, that these guys would do just an "OK" job and probably do it slowly, since insurance pays less than private party. But guess what? The work from Custom Auto looked excellent and was finished on schedule. They know exactly what they are doing and were consistently courteous. I hardly had to spend any time on this. There is a woman doing the scheduling (Lucy? Lucie? not sure) who is very, and I mean VERY efficient. I used CAC because they are close to where I work, but they are my go-to (of course, I hope I never have to use them again, but just in case...) auto body shop from here on. read more

They do ultimately do the job, but with scratches and damage from the repair. Leaving exposed bare metal is not an acceptable standard, paint chipped all around. Point it out and you get a shrug, they don't listen. read more

It's disappointing to see the few negative reviews that don't actually deal with their bodywork but weird parking lot fender benders. Yes their lot is tight. So if you're worried, then park your vehicle in the street for 5 minutes if they are busy. From a skilled standpoint, these guys are money! Their customer service and communication is always flawless. From friendly Lucy who is always so pleasant and informative, to Ed who handled my recent claim. And of course the legendary owner, Sergio!!! The nicest and fairest man you'll meet in the LA body shop world. I've been coming here ever since I moved to LA. In all fairness to me, I've been in 2 accidents (both not my fault), had my car vandalized/keyed, and been the victim of a parked car hit and run! In all, I've probably had close to 20k of repairs on my poor car. Yet, my 2007 Cadillac CTS with 69k on it looks the same way it did when I drove it off the lot brand new half-a-decade ago. In LA you're gonna get hit... someday or somewhere. Unfortunately when that time comes, take it to these guys. They'll make you feel good about your bad luck. read more

Custom Auto Craft may not look like a fancy 5-star body shop from the outside, but they absolutely are 5-star! The service is outstanding from the estimating portion all the way to the delivery. He was able to take my car in the same day. When I arrived he asked if I knew how dark I wanted them (which I didn't). My car has factory tint in the rear and I wanted it to match or closely match with the front. Alonso explained the difference in the colors and showed me how dark it would look on my car. Additionally he took his time to explain the difference in films. I felt the price was reasonable and to be honest probably the best quote I had gotten. Alonso suggested tinting my windshield also for the heat rejection but I was not sure because I have never done that before so I decided on not doing it. I would say that's my only regret now because I definitely feel the difference when the sun is in front of me. I did plenty of research prior because in the past I had not had the best experience with other businesses so when I got my car I knew I wanted to be sure the business would do a great job. When doing my research evolution was the only one that had nothing but great reviews so I trusted my gut and sure enough they did a fantastic job. During my negative experience with another installer, I received more support, more useful and accurate information from Impero than from the place I was having issues with at the time. In retrospect, I would've been better off had I just gone to Impero again right away with my new car, but I wanted a specific brand of tint that Impero isn't offering (for good reason, as I now know) so I went with a different installer (who even charged more). I can't recommend Impero highly enough to anyone looking to get their windows tinted, or their car wrapped, Kristina really seems to always keep up with the latest products and knows what's currently best on the market.

The photos I've posted show the old exhaust parts that were cut and removed, the replacement components, and the finished install underneath the vehicle. Everything was fitted cleanly and solidly--no shortcuts, no sloppy work. They replaced my muffler and repaired the damaged section from the theft in just a little over an hour, which honestly exceeded my expectations. Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

I took it in to a place AAA recommended in downtown LA and explain the issue. They told me I needed a new timing chain along with a whole bunch of other stuff and quotes me $4800 for it. This was preceded with a lot of scare tactics on what will happen if I don't have the work done, which came across as very used car salesman-ish. When I ran the quote through ChatGPT I was told they were charging me dealership pricing for an independent mechanic for that type of work in LA. So I brought the truck here to Speedway where I had Minor worked done before and had a good experience. They told me my bearings need to be replaced and did the work for lesson than a quarter of the price I was quoted at the other mechanic. Work was finished in a day and the truck has been running perfectly since then. Had I spent to 4800 at the place it wouldn't have even resolved the issue, which means I would've had to come out of the pocket even more after the initial work was done. Obviously a truck of this age is gonna have some problems and when they inevitably happen again I will be back here at Speedway to take care of them. Highly recommend this place for integrity, quality, efficiency and fair pricing.

Fred helped me out - he was very friendly and non-intimidating (great for a gal going to an auto shop by herself!) He explained that Tesla tires have some foam, so patching the tire for the nail he found would be $50. It was nice he took the time to explain why it was a certain cost, def appreciated. They have a really nice waiting area with seating + strong AC (it was a hot summer day in LA), I was really impressed. Paid by cash because there's a small fee for credit card. 100% recommend this spot - friendly and service was quick. I was in and out fasttt!
