A few years ago we decided our rattan furniture needed new cushions and fabric covers. After doing online research and speaking with local vendors by phone we decided to "visit" Cushion World, located on Santa Fe Drive, in Denver. Our visit turned out to be more than expected. Their shop had umpteen numbers of fabric samples, cushion samples one could sit on, etc. After visiting with the staff, the hands on staff, we learned these people knew their business. While on our visit, probably ten customers came in to pick up a product, deliver something, etc. Yes, they had a lot of business! Our selection of fabric and cushions meant things had to be ordered. Understandable of course. I would say within two weeks they had our materials and were ready to work. About three weeks later we had our finished product. Once home with our new cushions we wondered how well they would fit. No doubt there! They were fitting like new. Since that time, probably two years ago, the cushions are still like new. I would encourage anyone who seeks a good product with good workmanship to visit Cushion World. They won't be disappointed! read more

Initially, this company took my charge info and charged my card. My cushions were suppose to be completed within two weeks. A month later, I contacted the company to ask what the status was on my cushions and I was told initially told they were behind. When I contacted the owner (Mike) he then told me that they were never paid so the cushions were not completed. In fact, me card was billed the first day I came into the business. To make matters worse, I inquired as to what had happened to my order form as the sales person had written my cc number down on the paper for which he tok my order - apparently they save money by not using a cc terminal. This concerned me as he told me that form went to the "back with the labor". After all this nonsense, the owner told me he would do the work free of charge...never happened. I have been charged for the work and , oddly enough, my fears were realized and my card was since used in Mexico to make several bogus charges. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! read more

I couldn't wait to get my finished cushion refills. I've had custom covering on furniture before and this was my first time to use Cushion World. This store is wonderful and their work is superb. I couldn't be more happy with the cushions. This a process and it takes a little time but that's the world of custom vs. ready-made. Mike and his parents, Mike Sr. & Judy, are the nicest people and after 40 years, they know service. For all the negative reviews, don't come here because you have little understanding of the process to run a business like this and turn out top notch products. We had a chair and ottoman recovered and they did an absolutely beautiful job! The quality of the work is perfect and honestly, the pieces look better than they did originally from the factory. I highly recommend them. But you also need to beware that, like so many small businesses, they have been hit hard by the pandemic. Supply chain issues and staffing have set them behind on their schedule so be patient. You're not going to get your product in a couple weeks so plan ahead. But it will be worth the wait when you do get it. And, as for the people who have complained about the prices, have you ever done upholstery? It is labor intensive and it takes real talent to be able to do it right without wrinkles and sags. If you want a beautiful piece, suck it up and pay for the work. read more

We just had Cushion World recover our 4 patio chairs. If you want cushions that you could sit in all day, this company is the one to call. Our chairs are so comfortable that even our neighbors want to trash their cushions from the local Big Box store and call Cushion World! Don't go anywhere else. Yes they may be more expensive than the Big Box store but you won't have to replace them every year or two. Since our patio is covered, we leave them out all year long so we can enjoy those perfect Colorado fall and winter days! They also help you with color and fabric. Ours are two tone so we can switch out the sides for a completely different look! read more

Cushions were excellent and as expected. Custom work is very good, not inexpensive. One issue was that the Cushion World team lost a sample cushion we brought in to compare sizing. We brought in 2 cushions for them validate the new work. I witnessed tagging the cushions with our name. One 1 cushion was returned. Cushion World reported that they were not able to locate the other cushion (one of a former set we had). Workmanship and delivery were as promised. Work a few years ago Cushion World did for us was excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable, but take care to have clear understanding of what you expect to be returned. read more

Mike & his team at CushionWorld did a wonderful job refurbishing the cushions on two of our chairs, which we purchased almost 30 years ago. The chairs were of very high-quality constructon with intrequately designed seat cushions. The cushions had broken down over the years, but the frames are still in great shape. We were concerned about not being able to find a suitable replacement before a furnaturie sure recommended that we visit CushionWorld in Denver. Mike custom-crafted the replacments, which fit perfectly. His craftsmanship and concern for delivering a quality product is very much appreciated! read more

Just picked up eight custom kitchen chair seat cushions. Brought them home and "BINGO"... My wife was thrilled with every aspect of the purchase. Mike jr. took care of the order and worked with us on some critical material and pattern decisions... He promised us a 30 business day delivery... they did it in 20... Everything as promised... perfect size and fit match to the original custom pads. The only problem is the she hates to sit on them because they look so nice (But we'll get past that) I'm now thinking about reupholstering a couple of wing back chairs with these folks... Needed 6 dining room chair seats reconstructed and recovered, complete with welt. Found their prices on leather to be very good! They gave me 4-6 week timeline, but they call you when it's your turn, so you bring your items in when they are ready to do the work. Only without chair seats slightly more than a week. They did a beautiful job. I found them to be friendly, and presented options. Kind of has the feel of a small mom-pop shop. They certainly do beautiful work, and we got what we wanted within our budget. I will absolutely use them in the future. read more

STAY AWAY from this company. They provide high service levels to land your order (which they require you to pay for 100% in advance), however, after they have your money things change quickly. We were quoted a 20-30 day lead time and it has now been over 90 days and after dozens of unreturned phone calls (and several visits to their shop) still no cushions! I highly recommend Sunbrella fabrics. They are truly the best. They are fade resistant and wear for years. I have a "vintage" wrought iron set that has fabric from the 80s and in great condition. I wanted to supplement my set with some chaises and chairs so I went to Cushion World and received excellent service. I have used Cushion World for many years for reupholstering dining room and other chairs, restuffing sofa cushions, and outdoor cushions for lounges and benches. They do painstaking work of excellent quality and I have recommended them to many friends in Denver and in Colorado. Plan ahead as it will take 6 weeks to get a project completed, but you will love the finished quality. read more
