Unbelievably terrible service Had two window seat cushions recovered here. Impossible to get someone to help when I first went in, but eventually they helped and got my cushions into the pipeline. I brought my own fabric, so you think it would be quick and easy. Spent an hour (two cushions) just to give me an estimate and take a deposit. I had driven all the way over there, so I thought, what the heck, maybe I got them on a bad day. Promised deliver in 8 weeks--took them 10. Quality of finished cushions was excellent. Went there two days ago to give them a second chance, bringing three cushions to be replaced (with my own fabric again). Spent 35 minutes with the gentleman, and he couldn't give me an estimate, said the guy who really knows about this would have to call me the next day (which was yesterday, which he didn't ). Oh well, can't say I didn't try read more

I contacted CW to re-sling 3 outdoor chairs. The material they provided was superb, and the price was a fraction of that charged by Birdsall for the same service. CW really knows what they're doing. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

Cushionworld does very good work. However, be prepared to pay a premium price. Also, give yourselves plenty of lead time. Anything custom made takes plenty of time. My actual rating would be 3.5 if allowed. read more

I had the worst experience of my life with Cushion world. i Switched to a fabric that wasn't a perfect match because they said it was in stock. Then the quoted me 40 business days to completion. It ended up being SIX MONTHS. and when I called to inquire they lectured me about the back orders and told me to stop calling that they would call when it was done. I will NEVER use this place and I would suggest you don't either. read more

We could not be happier with our beautiful new patio cushions and patio umbrella! They could not have been more perfect. They were ready when promised even tho it takes about 40 business days, but soo worth it. Special Thanks to Judy for helping us select the correct fabric and color. You guys are terrific!! read more

40 business days Mike- I paid in full in September. You have at least 8-10 similar complaints. This has nothing to do with COVID- it's your ethics and integrity. Clearly I called both Chase and PayPal when you stated to Chase you completed the service and you didn't. I'm looking to get my money back- my attorney is aware, and you are the one who breached the contract. It's now March. I am happy to post all of the emails here showing exactly what has occurred and if I can, the voicemails. There is a voicemail with you stating you are clearly late. That was in December. You know what you have done is wrong- and so do many other people who have posted on Yelp, FB and Google. It's very clear you and "Judy" have customer service problems and integrity issues. read more

I have a stool cushion from Egypt that is made of camel leather. It's 60 years old and in need of either replaced or repair. Cushion World gave me an estimate via email and email and told me to come in and select the covering. My adult niece and I walked in, no acknowledgement whatsoever by the 3 employees. Finally the old lady asked what we needed with about as much enthusiasm as the kitchen sink. I explained what I was looking for and I had already received a quote for labor and stuffing. She pointed to a wall of books and told us to look through them. This was immediately after she advised camel leather was very expensive and would cost at least $600. I had no problem paying that in order to replace the cushion. I asked her how much the faux leather was she was trying to sell me. She became very flustered and quite indignant as she walked away never to return. We looked for a few minutes and it was obvious they didn't want or need our business. We left and not one employee asked if we found what we were looking for or even goodbye. Rudest people I have ever encountered in a retail setting. Zero customer service. We stopped at Tandy Leather on the way home and the contrast in wanting to help a customer was day and night. They gave us a card of a gentleman named Michael Banks and said he can take care of us. I have an appointment with Michael next week. read more

Cushion World did an amazing job on making me a Custom Double Chaise cushion for me. They helped me pick out a discounted fabric that has a great Warranty on it! I'm very happy with the end product and would highly recommend their services!! read more

Cushion World has reasonable prices and a great selection of fabrics. They guarantee their work for life which is a rarity. They did an excellent job reupholstering a mid century sofa of mine and really brought it back to life. Happy to support a local company that stands behind their services. read more

Cushion World - Mid Century Dux Sofa - Furniture Reupholstery Near Me - Denver, Colorado

The workmanship cannot be beat. I've read some of the reviews about priciness, but you expect to pay for this level of quality. The pieces in the showroom area are beautifully done. I had an insert cushion made for a very large textile pillow cover. It exceeded all of my expectations. I have some more projects for them also. Mike came to my house to see the furniture to recover and windows for curtains. He was very professional and took the time to measure and share some ideas. He also took time in the showroom to look through fabric books with me and make recommendations. The quotes for the work were delivered in a timely manner and seem to be fair. I will be glad to get these projects underway when they reopen. read more

They did a very good job recovering some large patio cushions for me and finished earlier than the projected timeframe.

First, they've moved from this location and are now on Broadway. Second, their service has gone down the drain. I've had good luck in the past, but heard tales from others. Now, experienced it on my own. Poor communication, inability to meet deadlines, all for expensive product. Can no longer recommend. read more

I am a loyal customer because of the true craft and old fashioned customer service that is well provided. I've been renovating full time since 1976. I know the real deal by now. read more

They replaced our outdoor furniture cushions and covers - 12 total. They did an excellent job but they're pricy. $1600 for the lowest price level Sunbrella fabric. It would have been a 5 star if not for the high price, the workmanship is very good. read more

Great service, on time as promised. These guys were helpful, responsive to emails and phone calls, and were easy to work with. They allow you to get in their work queue and then only bring in your item on the day they are ready to go to work on it. My sofa cushions were ready in one day. No complaints, and in fact I am delighted with the final product and the service. I wonder about the bad reviews on this site. Note the business IS on Santa Fe, not on Broadway. read more

I just needed a zipper fixed on a cushion. This place was pretty far away, so I made sure to call ahead and get a quote. $35 was the original quote, which was given to me by 2 different employees. I took the cushion in and was quoted $35 again by 2 other employees. I left the cushion behind to be repaired. When I called to check on the status, they quoted me a $70 "minimum." I literally asked 5 or six times if $35 was the EXACT quote and I even asked if there were any other fees or minimums. This business is an absolute joke. Go anywhere else if you can. read more

I ordered a custom cushion for a wooden church pew I use at my kitchen table. It is much like a window bench cushion. Both of the people I encountered at CW were helpful and knowledgeable. They were professional, if not the friendliest which is fine by me. It has the feeling of a family-run business. I supplied my own fabric and they had no problem with using it. I was very happy with the quality of work. My cushion came out perfectly with nice rolled edges and ties to secure it to the bench. The cost was comparable to priced I had seen elsewhere for custom work. The time to produce was about 4 weeks but it was near the holidays and I was not in any hurry. If I ever have any more needs like this, I will not hesitate to use them again. read more

They use deceptive ads and will quote one thing and do another when you are in the shop. Not recommended.

I should have read reviews BEFORE I went here! There seems to be a prevailing theme of poor customer service, long lead times and the feeling that has left potential customers that their business isn't important to Cushion World. I was greeted (if you can call it a greeting at all!) by a put together petite mature women, not even a hello, just "Are you here to pick up?" I should have turned around then. I explained to her that I had looked at their website and had a couple of questions about cushion insert replacements. She told me to get the cushions. I brought in two of the three cushions and was guided to an area of the store, which by the way was filthy beyond what you would assume appropriate even considering dust from the upholstering process. I was given 3 options of cushion inserts to test without much explanation other then soft, medium, firm. She told me to test the firmness by placing them into the chair, which the seat bottom was several pieces of cardboard!?!, and she left to measure my cushions. No explanation, no inquiry as to what I might be looking for. ZERO customer service. ZERO opportunity to ask the questions, which brought me in the door in the first place I was presented with two quotes (standard and premium materials), she explained the process, gave a piece of paper to read that consisted of terms and conditions, again no customer service in explaining what I was looking at, then was given a lead time of more 30 days out. When I explained that I only wanted two of the three cushion inserts replaced, she got flustered, told me she'd have to redo the quote, and then figure the tax so I could give her a 50% deposit to hold the date. I asked to review the quote again which seemed a bit pricey, but certainly not an offensive price. I just wanted a second look at it. She became even more flustered, rude and even more unaccommodating. Slid the paper across the counter towards me, I knew in that moment that I did not want to give this place my business. I told her I wanted to hold off for now (which had nothing to do with price!), thanked her for her time, and I'd keep them in mind if I changed my mind. SHE TOOK THE QUOTE OUT OF MY HAND AND TORE IT UP!! What the heck!!! I left feeling disappointed and a clear knowing that they don't deserve my business! read more

Mike and his family did a great job with our cushions.

Cushion World offers a very high quality of work, and we're very pleasant to work with!

The customer service provided by this family run business is as good as it gets. I was only interested in outdoor fabrics, but my sense was all of the fabric selections was great. The selection of outdoor fabrics is incredible and the knowledge of the owner and his son Mike, is superb. This level of knowledge and customer service has taken years to refine. I have full confidence that the work to be done once the fabric arrives will be done with great skill and care. I would recommend Cushion World to anyone needing or wanting to recover indoor or outdoor furniture. read more

In the past two years, Cushion World has done two big projects for us. They did 5 large leather cushions for a 15' bench, and leather seat and back cushions for a large curved, built-in fireplace pit. I'm about to ask them to reupholster a chaise lounge with a big round bolster, because I know they can do anything. We have been extremely pleased with the quality and service of Cushion World and will continue to use them as projects arise. read more

I had a very good quality leather sofa and love seat that needed to have the seat cushions recovered. They helped me find a very close matching leather, did the recovering, refilled the cushions, and replaced a broken zipper. The quality and workmanship are great! Very pleased! Not the cheapest, but you do get what you pay for! read more

Cushion World did a wonderful job on my outdoor patio furniture! They were accommodating to my budget, assisted me with picking out the fabric, and gave me helpful hints. They delivered ahead of schedule, mind you, I had my cushions recovered during the winter months. Very bad customer service. Bait and switch getting you in there with a special and then nothing to buy. Very expensive for what you get and they don't deliver. Please go somewhere else and save yourself the problems you will have doing business with this company. read more

The cushions arrived well past the maximum promised "Production Time Estimate" of "4-6 weeks". Called the company at six weeks and were told the cushions were not there (work is not done locally). Kept calling weeks after the six week maximum and were told that "4-6 weeks" was calculated in Monday through Friday business days and it was plainly written on the invoice. Well it does NOT say anything about business days on the invoice, it says "4-6 wks". I really do not like to be lied to. The cushions did turn out nice, but this company needs to work on their customer service skills. They took so long that we were not able to use the cushions when we were showing our house to be sold. I would highly recommend John's Upholstery in the future: http://www.johns-upholstery.com. The work is done on time, locally, professional quality and no B.S. read more

I had an excellent experience with Cushion World. I had gotten a quote for a bench cushion at national chain I have used several times for furniture and draperies but decided to try this local place on a small project. I purchased my own fabric and then measured my bench, which required custom cushion corners to accommodate the irregular shape of the seat. I took pictures to help them understand. I just picked up the cushion and it fits PERFECTLY. The workmanship is excellent. I saved 40% off the price quoted me by the other store. The cushion was completed in 10 days. read more

I ordered a bench cushion with their May Special of 20% off. They had end of bolt fabric that was perfect worked well with my colors in my kitchen so I saved money there as well. Thanks to a new puppy, we needed serious couch work. They did a great job - was much more inexpensive then buying a new couch but it feels like we have a new one. I've put off having my nice leather couches re-cushioned. Now that I have; so appreciative. No more back-aches after watching football on a Saturday or Sunday. The customer service was a little shaky on the initial order. But, after working with one person it was better. Try to work with one, especially Mike. We are planning to have some outside bar seats cushioned. Then next Spring, my wife wants her hammock re-upholstered. So take the leap, and enjoy the comfort! read more

Don't go here unless you have a ton of time on your hands. The salesman was very slow and didn't walk me through the ordering process. You kind of have to wonder around and just figure it out. Good luck getting a price out of them. The older salesman will just tell you which one is entry level which tells me nothing about how much it costs. When asked further about price he will tell you they have to quote it. I am sure this place can work of you don't care about price and have a lot of time on your hands. read more

Cushion World is a wonderful place for high quality customer service and product quality. I went to four different places to price the re-upholstery of my outdoor furniture. Cushion World was not the least expensive but they provided the most customer service, variety of fabrics and worked with me on my budget. I am extremely satisfied and can't wait to host my first outdoor party with my "new" outdoor furniture! Thank you Cushion World and staff! read more
