A total rip off, owes me over $12,000... I needed extensive dental work after a car accident ,he agreed to perform surgery by removing three broken teeth and replacing them with implants for $14,000. He broke a piece of each tooth when he pulled root of my broken tooth on my left molar. He insisted that I immediately get a loan for $12,000 with Care Credit because he stated that the insurance takes too long to process. He said when Blue Cross Blue Shield pays the claim that he would refund me my money. He billed Blue Cross for over $24,500 and he only replaced two of the three teeth. He never gave me back my $12,000 and now he will not speak to me so two teeth cost me and Blue Cross Blue Shield over $36,500 and I still am missing a tooth. read more

I hate going to the dentist ! but Dr Brookover is great, and now I don't have the same anxiety about going as much anymore. He saved a tooth that 2 other dentists told me I needed a root canal because a cavity seemed to big to fill. dr brookover said it was possible to fix, saved the tooth and 2 years later is still as good as new with just the filling. He took the time to explain everything to me & that a root canal was the very last option and not necessarily a healthy option if not needed. Saved me money & a tooth. They have all the modern high tech equipment and the the staff were very friendly & helpful.... worth the call... read more

Curtis always seems to have some new "wonder" product he's selling, it's hard to think of him as a dentist when he seems to want to hock these side items. The staff turn over with Dental Hygienists is also a worry, never have had the same 2 work on me, and they seem to be more worried with up selling stuff then how your mouth is doing. I've also had 3 of my crowns come off that where installed there. Went to him for over 10 years, its time for a change. read more

Run, run away from this dentist. The focus of this office is 100% on making money and not on your health. This office lost my x-rays twice resulting in having to have more x-rays completed. Due to their poor quality and incorrect imaging the office insisted I have one root canal (I actually have two) and then insisted that said tooth must be removed and replaced with an implant. Twice I had to call to re-spell my name as they had it incorrectly in there system which was causing the insurance to reject paying. Then, as the icing on the cake when I switched to a new dentist this office sent me a bill for $240 for a missed appointment that I'd never scheduled in the first place. Run. This is the worst dentist I have had, and would not recommend him to anyone. Here is my experience: I went in for a root canal/crown ($$$). He drilled the big hole in my tooth very impatiently. It was very unpleasant, plus he hit the neighboring teeth with his drill several times (while the drill bit was spinning). I felt like he did not care about me at all. He just wanted to be done as quickly as possible. On the way out, I stopped at the front office to pay my bill. He charged me $300 extra that we did not agree on before the service. He had put in a titanium rail inside my tooth, without my consent. Of course it was too late at that time to dispute the charge. After 2 weeks he put in my permanent crown, which left a huge gap between my teeth, so I get food stuck there all the time. Overall, this was a terrible experience. I used to go here for teeth cleaning, but quit about 8 years ago. I did find the emphasis on making money by recommending unnecessary procedures annoying. However, I simply declined the treatments and continued getting my teeth cleaned. My husband also had his teeth cleaned here for years. When they opened up the children's practice (Smile Factory) I took my kids there. I wasn't unsatisfied, but something was lacking. Then, I had several friends who had had horrible experiences with their young children (i.e., a recent filling getting infected b/c it wasn't cleaned properly, etc.) So, I decided to pull my kids and see a children's dentist in Santa Fe. Well, apparently when I asked that my children's' records be forwarded to their new dentist, they cancelled my husband and my next scheduled appointments without telling us. We didn't know this until my husband showed up for his "scheduled" appointment. My husband asked me if I had cancelled all our appointments, which I hadn't. I guess they got mad that we pulled our kids and so they cancelled all of us. Not very professional. read more

Don't go to this man! He pulled my daughters wisdom tooth out by only providing valume pills. By the end of the first hour we were their she had been given so much valume that she became very ill! I took her home and had to get my neighbor to help me carry her into the house. She was so completely waisted that she could not hold herself up, and was trying to crawl on the floor. It took hours of caring for her with the help of my family to keep her safe while the pills wore off. I look back and wish I would have taken her to the ER. My daughter almost over-dosed!
