HOLY SH*T this place is AMAZING. Like freaky good. The seasoning is excellent and addicting. We could not stop eating until everything was gone. I could not recommend this place enough. Some of the best food I've ever had in SD. WOW!!!! Make sure to order all the amazing side sauces as you will be blown away. But, you know the food is good when you don't need a single sauce on top to make it incredible... they are delicious additions, though! Incredibly, amazing, and will be spending a regrettable amount of money here - you should too!

The rice and hummus was good but the accompanying pita bread definitely tasted past its prime( hard and tough to chew). I read some great reviews about this place so I was a bit disappointed.

I've been here twice, and the difference between my 2 visits was honestly night and day…read more The first time I ordered the fish tacos, they were fantastic- crispy, crunchy, fresh, and packed with flavor. I immediately understood why so many people rave about this truck. The fish was perfectly fried, the toppings were fresh, and everything came together beautifully. Unfortunately, my second visit was the complete opposite experience. The fish was soft, stale-tasting, and lacked the crispy texture that made the tacos so memorable the first time. If someone had told me the tacos came from a different shop, I would have believed them. It felt like two completely different cooks were working the truck. Since fish and shrimp tacos appear to be their specialty, I really hope they can dial in the consistency. When they're on their game, the tacos are absolutely worth coming back for. I just wish every visit matched the quality of that first experience.

I'm so hungry, and I'm craving burrito. After I get the food and eat it, I will update this review. **edit** I got a ham and egg breakfast burrito and it was sooooo delicious that I thought I died and went to heaven but I only knew I was alive because my friend Steven's cat was rubbing his face on my arm and biting me. I was being so greedy and eating the whole burrito but I pulled a few pieces of ham from the burrito to share with the cat (Galileo-he is such a handsome kitty) and he loved them! So that is a 2 for 1 I loved it and the cat loved it. The food was good and the service is what you'd expect from a food truck parked semipermanently in a liquor store parking lot and then some!! The people I dealt with were acceptable at the very least! Super great! **edit #2 I don't feel sick or have any diarrhea like I normally get from consuming food cooked in and automobile, I am farting a lot but they're NOT juicy farts, just air, so it's very likely you won't get sick from this place since I haven't. Ordered: - Ensenada fish taco: this was filling!! had avocados on top and it was creamy and tasty - Birria quesadilla: super cheesy and yummy! didn't come with consume which was kinda disappointing, but understandable. - Shrimp and fish taco: i lump these two together because they were very similar and i couldn't really tell which was which because there was sooo much breading ); Altogether i think it came out to about $30ish? They only take cash, zelle, or venmo. Easily found parking around 11am on a Saturday. Waited maybe about 15 min for the food

They are *not* street tacos, these are full-size tacos with tons of dressings, making it super juicy and filling. You could definitely get full off of just 3 of these. $16 California Burrito is likewise very good. It's huge, so I cut it in half for work and get to eat the other half for lunch the next day. Likewise, very juicy and has actual avocado and pico in it. In earnest, the burrito is a little strange with Spicy Mayo in it, but you can ask for it without. There's so many things in the burrito that I honestly can't name all of it. Location is nice, it's a bit far from my work so it's hard to squeeze into a 30 minute lunch break. It's a food truck with a lot that has plenty of parking. I genuinely have never seen more than 3 other people at the food truck when I go around 11am-1pm on weekdays, so no line and the food is made in a reasonable amount of time. Highly recommend, it's one of my favorite spots now!

I wanted to just wait in the shade until I got hungry again, then order another 5. Hot, fresh... LIGHTLY battered... The pickled red onion slaw topping just sets it all off in a very particular kind of way. My son and I ordered 8 fish and 1 marlin... I wanted to come back the next day and do it again. It was the kind of experience where you want to go as much as possible before it gets too popular and they have to raise their prices. Three bucks American for a fish taco that beats pretty much every other spot I've been to that's charging five bucks and some change. Doña taking orders was made me feel welcomed and appreciated. My Spanish is mas o menos at best, so it can be a little intimidating placing an order. She was patient with me and let me practice my español and even complemented my efforts. I will definitely be back soon.

I saved the last one towards the end of our meal because I was sad it was coming to an end. Definitely my favorite item of this trip. We also shared a large shrimp cocktail, fish flautas and Clamato. Shrimp cocktail had the perfect seasonings, salty and hint of sweet. Large is good as 1 meal or to share if trying different things. The fish flautas were good, they come with a fried fish inside. Not one of my top items of today but still good to try. The Clamato was so refreshing! Size is big for sharing, great flavor. Everything tasted very fresh which is so important, especially with the oysters. Staff was friendly and super welcoming! $66 for everything was decently priced 2 people sharing. Will definitely be visiting these guys again. *parking & seating - there are high tables and counter to eat on but no chairs. The fish taco was great. The batter with crispy and the fish inside was succulent and tender. The Shrimp taco was good too, but the batter could of used just a wee bit of more time in the fryer to crisp it up. The corn tortillas were good, but I would recommend, if they can afford it, to double up on the tortillas because the tacos had a tendency to break under the weight of ingredients, especially the sauce. The offer a cup of fish broth with every meal, which I did not partake, and they have seating available next the truck. They are located as of 1/3/15 in the Miller's Market Parking lot.
