I just ordered food from here while I'm watching my friend's cat down the street. So far, I like it because it was a really short walk from where I'm at. I'm so hungry, and I'm craving burrito. After I get the food and eat it, I will update this review. **edit** I got a ham and egg breakfast burrito and it was sooooo delicious that I thought I died and went to heaven but I only knew I was alive because my friend Steven's cat was rubbing his face on my arm and biting me. I was being so greedy and eating the whole burrito but I pulled a few pieces of ham from the burrito to share with the cat (Galileo-he is such a handsome kitty) and he loved them! So that is a 2 for 1 I loved it and the cat loved it. The food was good and the service is what you'd expect from a food truck parked semipermanently in a liquor store parking lot and then some!! The people I dealt with were acceptable at the very least! Portions are big, and food is pretty dang good! The orange w/ red peppers (i assume is habanero) has a KICK - but that's how I like it! The yellow liquidy sauce also has a kick, but not as much as the 'habanero'. I also appreciate how they have whole jalapenos and pickled onions. They also have like 3 other sauces if you don't prefer spice. Ordered: - Ensenada fish taco: this was filling!! had avocados on top and it was creamy and tasty - Birria quesadilla: super cheesy and yummy! didn't come with consume which was kinda disappointing, but understandable. - Shrimp and fish taco: i lump these two together because they were very similar and i couldn't really tell which was which because there was sooo much breading ); Altogether i think it came out to about $30ish? Great food, inexpensive and pleasant people. I am disappointed that there are less than 30 reviews for this incredible food. The parking situation sucks but let me tell you, the Baja Fish tacos were fresh and fantastic! Not good, FANTASTIC. Big 6" tortillas, deep fried fish to perfection, packed with slaw and a dot of the home made salsas, these were in point! We got 2 plates with 2 big tacos each (2+2=4) and the total was $15.74. I purchased drinks at the liquor store next door and felt robbed (just trying to support). The even gave us free fish soup and it was amazing. We stood on the west side of the taco truck where there are nice clean tables. Even though I live an hour and a half away, I I will drive there again. Too few reviews really hurts this type of establishment. Please do me a favor, visit them and write a review. After a long wait, my friends and I got our much needed tacos and I have to say I was not a big fan. My biggest issue was how much tortilla they gave you: two to be exact. I already don't like getting two tortillas because it fills me up so fast but they were also huge tortillas, not like the tiny taco stand tacos you're used to getting. The birria ones were alright in flavor, not super strong, and the fish tacos didn't have much flavor or crispness. I wasn't wanting more than a couple bites of each. I had a garlic fish taco prepared on the griddle, a beef birria taco, and a quesa taco with birria as well. Where the fish taco and birria taco were very good, the quesa taco was terrific. The taco came with a lot of tender fish and in addition to the good seasoning, it offered a subtle garlic flavor. The shredded cabbage and veggies came with a tasty white sauce. Very good fish taco. Both the beef birria taco was great and adding the beef consommé made it even better. The beef is very well prepared, tender, and is very flavorful. The quesa taco certainly edges it out, especially if you are a cheese lover, because that griddled cheese at the bottom of the beef, red onions, and cilantro, and green onions is sure something else. Best kept authentic Mexican food truck in San Diego. Sabor A Birria is parked next to a liquor store in South Park. Our son have been raving about this food truck ever since he moved down to South Park. I usually don't do food trucks but I'm so glad that we gave it a try. They make the best fish taco and burrito. The batter is light and crunchy but allows you to taste the meaty fish. Their white sauce and a variety of hot sauces are fresh and without question the best and tastiest. The portions and prices are great too. You will get your money worth here. The service and the way they package each item were great. Btw, they don't sell any drinks. I got the large shrimp cocktail which was bomb!! It had a lot of shrimp and was a little spicy. I also got the escarchada clamato cup to make a michelada and omg, best mix ever!! Great customer service cleanliness was on point great condiments the chipotle sauce is fire the taste is great the best I've ever had now, on the other hand I ordered a garlic shrimp taco but the garlic taste wasn't there and the shrimp hadn't been cleaned or divined, a course some people eat them like that but I'm not a fan. Yes you will wait awhile. Yes you should. The pic is my brother in law's shrimp. He started with 20 or more. (By the time we thought to take pics, carnage had been enacted.) They all came with the same sauce, but there are 4 different ones in the window that you can get little cups of, plus Marinated onions & Jalapenos. The liquor store where they sit has a HUGE selection of drinks. Staff at both the truck and liquor store were very nice and very helpful. We were lost trying to look for the seafood tacos truck near target but we couldn't find it so we stumbled upon this food truck because my kids were "hangry"....And let me tell you this food truck has superb food, loved their side dishes and condiments (I'm a onions and jalapeños lover so I rate the authenticity of the food truck based on how they marinate the purple onions and their jalapeños), overall everything was so tasty!
