Trends change, employees change, owners changes, name changes but the one thing that has always stayed the same is the level of customer service I received every single time I was there. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. I went in to browse and was greeted upon entry. I was there for a gift and needed some assistance so the young lady with dark hair came to assist. But instead of getting great customer service, I received a rude employee who refused to let us actually touch and look at things. She said the reasoning was due to the pandemic and she would have to sanitize everything we touched as soon as we left. Ok understandable however would that not fall into her job duties as an employee? If I were that employee and someone was looking to purchase a specific gift for someone special I would have sanitized everything in the place to accomplish two things: 1. Doing a job I'm being paid to do 2. Having that customer leave with a positive shopping experience. THE BONUS........... Repeat Customer! I did end up making a small purchase out of necessity and here we are 2 weeks later and it's broke. Obviously not the quality of products I'm use to purchasing there.
