My eldest daughter and I just got done with a delicious lunch at Twisted Tony's in Osage Beach, MO. Drove to Camdenton, MO, to buy a t-shirt from Twisted Tony's second location. On our way out of this city, we saw Ozarkland in a red and white stripe multi-story building. Must be interesting so we made a stop here. Ozarkland is a general store for sweet treats and unique finds. They have 4 Missouri locations - Branson, Camdenton, Sarcoxie, Kingdom City. They also have an online store. Tons of merchandises, unique knick knacks, and so much more. May need to spend more than a good hour to cover everything. But then again, you may just want to do target shopping and get what you came here to buy. I was looking for Historic Route 66 t-shirts and magnets. No Route 66 inspired t-shirst for purchase. Got some cool magnets. Checked out the sweets section. They offer free samples of the fudge. Got some tropical medley fudge, dark and amaretto pecans, pecan caramel patties, chocolate rocks. Prices vary by the pound. Btw, great tasting chocolates! If you're local or out of town visitor, it's a cool place to peruse around and find your one-of-a-kind gift(s). I was like we HAVE to stop here when I saw it on the side of the road and made my husband pull over so I could go inside. I don't know what I was expecting... I have to say - not impressed. Maybe I was just cheap tourist gift-stored out at that point but there wasn't anything here that impressed me. Nearly everything was made in China - I did see a small fudge/ice cream counter in back and grabbed a magnet and some taffy for my husband for the road. Otherwise - onward we move. read more

I feel like a fool!! We have been driving past this gem for dang near a decade and never popped in until this last trip on our way back from HaHa Tonka Park. Ozarkland Store is an oasis of locally made items. It is one of those stores that has something for everyone, and even some treasures you didn't know you needed to have until you see it! **PRO TIP: Need a gift for a loved one? Have no idea what to get them? Stop here! You'll find something.** There's a cute ice cream shop inside with delicious flavors! Pricing was right (a lot of bang per buck). Staff was pleasant. My kids devoured a one scoop waffle cone as we perused the rest of the shop. There's fresh fudge, candied pecans (which we got and they were delicious), a robust salt water taffy selection-- lots of locally made jams, sauces and goods. I regret not getting the pickled asparagus and cherry jam. The knife selection (not my cup of tea) is insane! Plenty of souvenirs and decor. Pricing seemed on point. Overall, I'll be back next year! Totally worth a stop. read more

Good selection of souvenirs, T-shirt's, fudge, canned stuff. 2 floors with less popular stuff upstairs. A little too much stuff crammed into the store and pretty tight aisles, especially if you are trying to use a walker or wheelchair for your 86 year old mother. If you are looking for Lake souvenirs in Camdenton this is you place, but I was just the driver and wouldn't normally shop in tourist place like this. read more

While in Lake of the Ozarks, my boyfriend and I went to visit Ozarkland Store. It was probably one of the coolest gift shops that I've ever been to and my boyfriend agreed on how awesome Ozarkland Store was. I ended up buying a neat magnet as well as a jar of sweet potato butter for myself. And then I bought a sweet tie dyed sweatshirt as well as some salt water taffy for my daughter. Overall, an excellent tourist trap gift shop, that I recommend everyone to check out if you're ever in Lake of the Ozarks! read more

Stopped at the store in Camdenton. The staff was whispering to themselves, just loud enough for me to hear, about my size. It was humiliating. We left immediately and will never return. read more

This store is hard to rate because it's part shoe store, part gift shop, and part sweet shop. I didn't have any interest in the shoes, but my girlfriend appreciated that they sold a brand of moccasins, Minnetonka, that aren't common in the Chicago area, which is definitely a point in their favor. I felt some of the gifts in the gift shop, for example the metal wine glasses, were priced a bit high, which is a minor point, but one still worth making note. Where Ozarkland shines most for me is the sweet shop. They have ice cream. They have fudge. They have various brittles and clusters. And everything is home made! I ordered the chocolate coconut clusters, which are covered in a rich milk chocolate. The dark chocolate graham crackers carry a thick layer of chocolate with a satisfying crunch from a delicious cracker. I literally want to try everything they have, and in time I will because this is a place worth visiting and revisiting. read more

The store is not wheelchair accessible. There is an @ 2 inch lip to get into store. I hate that I have to leave 1 star

This is one you can judge its book by its cover. It's full of everything advertised. I mean packed full and overflowing with all sorts of items from postcards and magnets to Duck Dynasty merchandise to local made crafts. A great place to grab that last minute souvineer for that one person you missed or even just for yourself. read more

This store is all about the souvenirs! There were so many local choices as well as the expected items anyone would be looking for. The jams and jellies were so good and I would drive the 8 hours from home anytime just for the Blueberry Pecan preserves or the Apple Cinnamon jelly! If you can't find a souvenir for that special someone at home then you weren't looking here at Ozarkland general store! read more
