I met these two when I Was 13yrs old. They had the absolute best tie dye at the lake and it was then and there I fell in love with Tie Dye. I have been a loyal customer for the past 33yrs that's something I appreciate as a small business owner myself. Eventually things will and do change. Trends change, employees change, owners changes, name changes but the one thing that has always stayed the same is the level of customer service I received every single time I was there. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. I went in to browse and was greeted upon entry. I was there for a gift and needed some assistance so the young lady with dark hair came to assist. But instead of getting great customer service, I received a rude employee who refused to let us actually touch and look at things. She said the reasoning was due to the pandemic and she would have to sanitize everything we touched as soon as we left. Ok understandable however would that not fall into her job duties as an employee? If I were that employee and someone was looking to purchase a specific gift for someone special I would have sanitized everything in the place to accomplish two things: 1. Doing a job I'm being paid to do 2. Having that customer leave with a positive shopping experience. THE BONUS........... Repeat Customer! I did end up making a small purchase out of necessity and here we are 2 weeks later and it's broke. Obviously not the quality of products I'm use to purchasing there. So as a local resident and a year round purchaser I will have to contemplate other options going forward. Sad day in deed

On our way out of this city, we saw Ozarkland in a red and white stripe multi-story building. Must be interesting so we made a stop here. Ozarkland is a general store for sweet treats and unique finds. They have 4 Missouri locations - Branson, Camdenton, Sarcoxie, Kingdom City. They also have an online store. Tons of merchandises, unique knick knacks, and so much more. May need to spend more than a good hour to cover everything. But then again, you may just want to do target shopping and get what you came here to buy. I was looking for Historic Route 66 t-shirts and magnets. No Route 66 inspired t-shirst for purchase. Got some cool magnets. Checked out the sweets section. They offer free samples of the fudge. Got some tropical medley fudge, dark and amaretto pecans, pecan caramel patties, chocolate rocks. Prices vary by the pound. Btw, great tasting chocolates! If you're local or out of town visitor, it's a cool place to peruse around and find your one-of-a-kind gift(s). The entire time we were there, at least 3/4 hours, the manager starred at me and sent her teenage employees to stalk me from around the corners. The manager needs fired, bigger set woman with dark hair. And all the bleach blondes working under her need better parenting, when I tell you it's like being back in high school when you walk in. I asked the manager and a couple girls for their opinion on something and they all just looked at me confused and said they didn't know - you work at an apparel shop - if a customer is asking for your opinion slap that customer service face on and get in there! I've been a manager in retail for years which these idiots did not know, but I'll never be back. I've gone to this store every year since I was 8 years old, I'm 25 now. The most expensive item I bought also fell apart on the drive home - threads just fell out of that cheap made piece of crap. Don't support this business, it's an overpriced bust.
