Richard's Relic Shack - This gem of a place was an awesome experience! The ladies here were very knowledgeable and allowed our newly 21 year old try on this getup!! - Antiques Near Me - Lake Ozark, Missouri

Everything I said was true, and the fact that you admitted to it in your reply makes my day. Number 1 you said their was about 1/2 gram of gold in your reply. (In store you said it was all fake) #2 42 bucks isn't fair price for the WW2 helmet, the brand new custom coach purse or the amount of gold that actually was there. #3 what goes around comes around. #4 costume jewelry yes, all Hallmark stamped! And you said it yourself was silver and gold! Makes you the scammer of the day buddy. Thanks for clarifying that I said. So let's do the math, price of gold today?? Doesn't seem like 42 bucks is very Fair Lol. But if you're a scammer that's only Fair read more

Went there for coins; and yes, he's got lots, so selection is wonderful, but the prices aren't in left field, they're over the fence. Silver dollars that should be $35 for a cleaned fine condition Morgan dollar are price between $60 and $100. His daughter says he just doesn't want to sell his collection. Apparently not. Cool store otherwise read more

Crazy overpriced for the mediocre items they call "relics". Wouldn't recommend to anyone looking for some local and affordable antiques. Aside from the price gouging, the staff were all friendly so that's a gets them a 2 star. read more

I can't decide if I was thrilled. frightened or appalled by the is store, which is itself a relic. It fits in great with the pretty-much-has-been Bagnell Dam Strip. There is a banner along the awning that proclaims much of the stuff you'll find inside, which includes albums, wind chimes, incense, guns, swords, coins, ammo, sex toys, DVD's, porn and even a KKK robe. Not sure I want to meet the guy who buys that last item, but suffice it to say, this is one very trippy place. They guy behind the counter had a very bushy fu-manchu moustache that fit in nicely. The collectible coins and paper money were fun to gawk at and there is a box of arrowheads for $4.50 each, which I thought was pretty cheap, since they don't make those no more, at least as far as I know. Moccasins and racy posters are upstairs with the windchimes (over $300 chimes were 30% off!!). I asked my wife if I should get a shopping cart. Uh, no was all she said. Wal Mart it ain't, though there is probably a fair amount of customer overlap. read more

We went on an antique hunt on a rainy Saturday at the lake and ran across Richard's Relic Shack. I hadn't been here in years and was excited to try to remember what it was like. This store has something for everyone...old autographs, celebrity memorabilia, animal skins, records, band souvenirs, etc. Richard is super nice too. If you can't find something you'd like, you may need to reevaluate yourself! read more

This place is adequately weird, that's for sure. Richard wasn't in, and the clerk reminded me of a cross between Herman from the Simpsons and a meth-addled Jesse Pinkman. Got the 1000-yard stare upon walking in and saying hello. I'm not a narc dude, I swear. Yes they have the stars and bars, nazi memorabilia, and KKK robes apparently. Also sex toys and paraphernalia. Raccoon penis bones. The previous stuff had me convinced not to go in, let alone buy anything from here. When I heard they had records, that changed my tune. Freedom of speech and all...2nd amendment, blah blah. Merica. When I found the records upstairs, they were draped with faded zebra hides and empty big gulp cups. Trash strewn on the floor. Strange and wonderful indeed. I found some beer cans and glasses and left happy, that's about all I can say. Check it out for yourself. read more

Pretty interesting store. Definitely has something for everyone. Couldn't even start to describe all the products there. If you are a collector of any sort (coins, rocks, jewlery, antiques, knick knacks, etc...) this is the place for you! Been there twice now and can't wait to go back. read more

I love t a chance to come down to the lake you are one of me first stops. And I make sure I have plenty of time to look around. Some of my old favorites and any new thing you may have put in. A person could spend a couple hours in there if they wanted to. I love it. I`m gonna be getting a new apartment so I would love to spend some time in there. I`m gonna change my whole look. Thanks you guys for all of all of your stuff. Hope I get to get to come in soon. I was in a really bad accident so i will have my daughter bring me in. I was in a Coma for 3 weeks and had to learn how to do everything over again. How to write, dress myself, walk. this all happened on Thanksgiving. I just started walking without a walker. but I didn`t forget you guys. hope to see you soon. read more

On Nov. 3rd 2013, I purchased an artifact from the dealer online. When I received the artifact, it appeared to be an obvious fake. I sent it to a well known authenticator for evaluation, and he confirmed that the artifact was a reproduction. When I contacted the seller, he was at first, very apologetic, and promised to either exchange the item or refund my money. after following the sellers instructions and returning the item (which was signed for), The dealer has refused to respond to repeated emails and messages, and has still not refunded my money. I would not recommend doing business with this dealer under any circumstances! read more

This place is very cool indeed. I collect medieval weaponry and knives and whatnot and I drive all over the state for a living so I've seen pretty much all there is to see when it comes to selection in stuff like this. These guys have the coolest collection of weapons I've seen anywhere. Axes, spears, daggers, specialty weapons you'll find in abundance and they don't mark up much higher than you'll find online in a lot of places. Every time I go in there the two ladies who work the counter are super cool and willing to let me look at anything I want behind the glass and don't even seem pissed like a lot of places I go. Haha! I like to look at several options when I shop before I make my choice so it helps when the clerks are patient and cool with people browsing. Love this place. I'm sure before its all said and done I'm putting somebody's kid through college through my weapons obsession. Haha! Check it out. Great stuff read more
