Went there for coins; and yes, he's got lots, so selection is wonderful, but the prices aren't in left field, they're over the fence. I can't decide if I was thrilled. frightened or appalled by the is store, which is itself a relic. It fits in great with the pretty-much-has-been Bagnell Dam Strip. There is a banner along the awning that proclaims much of the stuff you'll find inside, which includes albums, wind chimes, incense, guns, swords, coins, ammo, sex toys, DVD's, porn and even a KKK robe. Not sure I want to meet the guy who buys that last item, but suffice it to say, this is one very trippy place. They guy behind the counter had a very bushy fu-manchu moustache that fit in nicely. The collectible coins and paper money were fun to gawk at and there is a box of arrowheads for $4.50 each, which I thought was pretty cheap, since they don't make those no more, at least as far as I know. Moccasins and racy posters are upstairs with the windchimes (over $300 chimes were 30% off!!). I asked my wife if I should get a shopping cart. Uh, no was all she said. We went on an antique hunt on a rainy Saturday at the lake and ran across Richard's Relic Shack. I hadn't been here in years and was excited to try to remember what it was like. This store has something for everyone...old autographs, celebrity memorabilia, animal skins, records, band souvenirs, etc. Richard is super nice too. This place is adequately weird, that's for sure. Richard wasn't in, and the clerk reminded me of a cross between Herman from the Simpsons and a meth-addled Jesse Pinkman. Got the 1000-yard stare upon walking in and saying hello. I'm not a narc dude, I swear. Yes they have the stars and bars, nazi memorabilia, and KKK robes apparently. Also sex toys and paraphernalia. Raccoon penis bones. The previous stuff had me convinced not to go in, let alone buy anything from here. When I heard they had records, that changed my tune. Freedom of speech and all...2nd amendment, blah blah. Merica. When I found the records upstairs, they were draped with faded zebra hides and empty big gulp cups. Trash strewn on the floor. On Nov. 3rd 2013, I purchased an artifact from the dealer online. When I received the artifact, it appeared to be an obvious fake. I sent it to a well known authenticator for evaluation, and he confirmed that the artifact was a reproduction. When I contacted the seller, he was at first, very apologetic, and promised to either exchange the item or refund my money. after following the sellers instructions and returning the item (which was signed for), The dealer has refused to respond to repeated emails and messages, and has still not refunded my money. I would not recommend doing business with this dealer under any circumstances! read more

This place is very cool indeed. I collect medieval weaponry and knives and whatnot and I drive all over the state for a living so I've seen pretty much all there is to see when it comes to selection in stuff like this. These guys have the coolest collection of weapons I've seen anywhere. Axes, spears, daggers, specialty weapons you'll find in abundance and they don't mark up much higher than you'll find online in a lot of places. Every time I go in there the two ladies who work the counter are super cool and willing to let me look at anything I want behind the glass and don't even seem pissed like a lot of places I go. Haha! I like to look at several options when I shop before I make my choice so it helps when the clerks are patient and cool with people browsing. Love this place.
