I'm writing today to express complete dissatisfaction with the treatment in your Sedalia, MO store…read moretoday. Me, my husband and adult children walked into the store, first time in over 6 months because we are truck drivers, we were talking and laughing with each other. As we got to the turn styles a worker approached demanding we put on masks. His attitude was unacceptable so my son told him we didn't see any sign because we just walked in and we're talking and didn't see any. He proceeded to be discourteous as he walked my son over to a sign at the door that says have to wear a mask. He was rude and what we consider a mask Nazi, someone who attacks instead of explains. We proceeded to tell him to get a manager. We did talk with the manager she was wonderful and courteous. I just want to express my huge displeasure with your store forcing your employees to be the mask police. Not only does this cause friction with the public but it makes your employees and customers get angry with each other. This makes the experience at your store unpleasant and not one where people want to return to. Menards has become our favorite store and this today makes me want to go somewhere else. I don't appreciate being harassed by employees to wear a mask that affects my breathing and speaking ability. As an older person it also makes it extremely hard to hear and understand people. On top of this having health issues with lungs and breathing wearing a mask could be deadly, but I was told today a medical excuse is not allowed in your stores. As a loyal customer I wish to encourage you to stop this horrible policy and get back to the kind and wonderful customer service we have enjoyed in the past. Forcing consumers and workers to become enemies is unacceptable and should have no place in a customer service environment.

September 2024 I placed an order for kitchen cabinets totalling $18K +or- a few dollars. Leading up…read moreto the actual order placement, we waited weeks for the for Lowes contractor to come measure for exactness. Associate Richard Parsons spent many hours helping get the right configuration, over several different visits. He was patient, helpful, personable and skilled, not only in cabinets, but throughout the home improvement section. Installer finally arrived, measured, and order was placed. Cabinets arrived in good time, another wait of weeks for installer to actually install them. These delays added to the cost of the cabinets with eating out and/or ordering in. Not to mention the inconvenience and stress of having a totally unusable kitchen! When he didn't show up to install in a timely manner, I visited the store, took a seat, explained the situation and that my patience was exhausted. In talking to Mr. Parsons and his manager I made it clear I was not leaving the store until there was resolution to getting the cabinets installed. That was accomplished. In the meantime, unopened boxes of cabinets were setting in the garage. Upon installing there was an upper cabinet missing. The missing cabinet arrived and has been setting in the garage for more weeks. With the base cabinets installed we were able to have the countertop installed and backsplash tiled. Bob Connor, the person Lowes hires as an installer spends time in Peru, where he told me he has a vacation home. Work comes before vacation. I will give Richard Parsons five stars for his dedication to customers. To Bob Connor, the contractor Lowes hires to do installation for them I give ZERO, for lack of dedication to customer service.

When he found our washer lives in the well house he was rude. He grabbed our machine and slammed it around, knocking tools over in the building. He was verbally abusive and rude. Like he took it personally that I don't have a pristine environment for his appliances. He brought parts back a week later. That's when he took his ground towel and slung dirt at me. He got more angry and abusive. I told him to either do the job or void the warranty, but STOP. Yelling at me. Then I left him alone to do his work, he left 20 min later without a word. No humanity or integrity. He clearly dumped our service out of vengefulness, I was unwilling to kowtow to his rage or tolerate his abuse. I am crippled. I can't lift over 5 lbs. I struggle to do anything for myself. But this man is so entitled that my best was offensive. Not a good human.

We had a problem with our dishwasher and so our home warranty contracted RMS Appliance Repair to…read morecome out and fix the issue. It looks like this company is a single person operation and he came out and looked at the dishwasher and made some assessments. I had to pay him $125 deductible on the spot and he told me that same night he will go ahead and provide his assessment to the warranty company so he can come back in the next few days and either try to fix the dishwasher or replace it. Well, it took almost 2 WEEKS and after lots of phone calls to RMS Appliance by me and the warranty company, we finally got the assessment. Then he decided he will not fix unless the warranty company prepays for parts with credit card. Almost a month later and I had to find another contractor to come out and fix the issue. Turns out there was absolutely nothing wrong with the dishwasher itself..it was a bad outlet. If RMS Appliance had done its job properly, this would have been discovered immediately. Instead the guy opened up the dishwasher and proceeded to tell me a bunch of parts needed to be replaced. He did absolutely nothing except take my money. VERY UNRELIABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!
