Once I made my choice, I was told that it was 6:30 and they would not make the sale to me. Store closes at 7pm. We drove up from Warsaw after work, tried finding something that worked for us and it's a BIG decision to spend that kind of money. At no time were we told we could not make purchases after 6:30. At no time were we told that taking the recliner home had to be done at a certain time. Instead when we made a decision we got told you'll have to come back. Even tried to see if we could load it ourselves at that point...nope. Now I'm thankful because I won't come back to make the purchase and saved myself from the outrageous purchase. Sales rep was nice. Too bad she missed out on that commission.

I have been to many of these types of stores throughout the country and most are ridiculously overpriced. This place is not only affordable but their collections throughout the store are pretty rad. I ended up buying some very cool Montecello vintage hand towels from the 1960s and a pair of steampunk sunglasses. There is something for everyone here.

Me, my husband and adult children walked into the store, first time in over 6 months because we are truck drivers, we were talking and laughing with each other. As we got to the turn styles a worker approached demanding we put on masks. His attitude was unacceptable so my son told him we didn't see any sign because we just walked in and we're talking and didn't see any. He proceeded to be discourteous as he walked my son over to a sign at the door that says have to wear a mask. He was rude and what we consider a mask Nazi, someone who attacks instead of explains. We proceeded to tell him to get a manager. We did talk with the manager she was wonderful and courteous. I just want to express my huge displeasure with your store forcing your employees to be the mask police. Not only does this cause friction with the public but it makes your employees and customers get angry with each other. This makes the experience at your store unpleasant and not one where people want to return to. Menards has become our favorite store and this today makes me want to go somewhere else. I don't appreciate being harassed by employees to wear a mask that affects my breathing and speaking ability. As an older person it also makes it extremely hard to hear and understand people. On top of this having health issues with lungs and breathing wearing a mask could be deadly, but I was told today a medical excuse is not allowed in your stores. As a loyal customer I wish to encourage you to stop this horrible policy and get back to the kind and wonderful customer service we have enjoyed in the past. Forcing consumers and workers to become enemies is unacceptable and should have no place in a customer service environment.

She should of stayed home .There were not hardly any personal working or should I say helping anyone. When went to the checkout there was over15 customers waiting to check out and 1 checker working and one with a problem, out of 12 lines ,other associates just walking around. So yes I'm like the other guy if you could get less than 1 star that's what I'd give
