Went here with friends to have a quick snack and to the bar . First thing was - service was poooooor ! The girl didn't want to even come to the table and take orders :) disappointing to see she didn't know what is available and what's not . Lots of tables inside to sit and eat . Tried ordering draft beers but they didn't have . Wanted KF big bottles - they didn't have .. tried ordering kebabs- they said 25-30 min wait I time .. and finally ordered egg bhurji .. I should say a burjeee was super good. Like home made ! Will possibly visit again for eating bigger portions of lunch . Was pricey though. Burji was 16$ the biggest headache is parking.. Honestly, really bad experience. The food tasted stale and unfresh, like it was old food or ready made food just heated and served. When we told the manager, they got confrontational instead of handling it properly. We even asked them to taste the food themselves. Service was bad too. They took forever to bring the bill, showed attitude, did not provide the bill properly, and did not give the parking pass. The flavors here really blew me away! We ordered medium spice for our entrees but their medium level packs quite a bit of heat - be warned! Easily would come back here again to get the same dishes, but also to try their lamb/goat Chicken Lollipops ($10): the color looks so artificial here but this was delicious. Breading was perfect - light and crunchy, and the chicken inside was still very juicy. The red sauce that came with this was also really spicy and went so well with the chicken Chicken Mughlai Biryani ($13): SO spicy! They were very generous with the pieces of chicken and those were chunky pieces as well. Rice was so fluffy and the spices/flavor to this made me fall in love. Kadai Chicken ($13): WOW! Unfortunately, this only came with four pieces of meat (seriously???) but the sauce was amazing. Perfect amount of spiciness, and I could've easily just had two bowls of rice with the sauce alone. Chicken was tender and flavorful as well. Garlic Naan ($4): comes with four buttery, garlicky pieces of bread that could've used more salt but was so good with the white sauce. read more

Love this Indian restaurant, they have the best service. Food is delicious and perfectly spiced. Great for vegetarians and meat eaters. Btw, If you know how busy "little Indian" is, it's almost impossible to find parking in the area. And so this restaurant has its own small parking lot, halfway down Newark ave so you can park for free if dining there 1 hour! read more

They serve best pomfret fry in town.. It was a garba night and Indian st was full of enthusiastic Indians. We had a wonderful time and then we dine out here. It was crowded, but we got the table. They do offer BYOB so we brought a bottle of whiskey with us. We ordered a martini and some appetizers, what I remember is, pomfret fry was awesome. We ordered the main course as well. We had been there as a group of 10 for dinner a week back. The food was terrible. The Goat Dum biryani was reddish goat curry mixed with rice and was barely edible. The Lamb naan looked like it was taken from the freezer and not heated properly - was indelible and had to be returned ( we were charged the full amount for both dishes). The dal tadka and kadhi pakora were OK. Even the liquor ( Don Julio ) were billed at different rates. Overall a very bad experience and will definitely not be returning. read more

So I couldn't catch a bus from the path and was a little bitter, so I went to Little India to get some food. I went to Carry On, and as soon as I walked in, everyone was very welcoming and professional. I was given a menu immediately and any question I had was answered. The chicken curry we ordered was the worst ever! The chicken pieces were so hard, it wasn't cooked at all, not even 1%. I felt like I had raw chicken. I can taste the fresh garlic and green onions. The paneer burji is always my favorite way of eating paneer. It is the best combination of paneer and curry. The paneer burji curry was full of Indian flavor; such as garam masala, cloves, star anise, coriander seeds, and many more. When I order Indian food for take-out, I usually request to make it extra spicy because it's always bland. However, Curry On almost killed me with their spice level, haha. Since grubhub ordered no delivery fee and this restaurant had $10minimum, I decided to order dinner. I am so glad I ordered! The food was delicious and the food was packed perfectly. Surprised it came on time also considering the dish I ordered. I ordered following! Malta chicken - I requested it to make spicy but the dish was not at all spicy BUT it was DELICIOUS!! The dish was loaded with unique spices and garlic with salad dressing. I really loved it! Rating 5/5 - pic attached- Roti and puri - am not rating them though the roti was very good and fresh! Such disappointing visit today. We were regulars here and loved coming as their food was fresh and good quality. As it's a Saturday, the quality of the food as dropped majorly. 1 star is only for the MUST TRY CHICKEN CHOPS. We ordered paneer kundan spicy , tandoori roti and tawa roti without butter, both came with butter, but decided to just go with it. The Paneer kundan however if you look closer, had a spoon full of green chili paste. I took the attention of the waitress and told her my concern and asked her if we can replace it with something else as this was not acceptable( you don't just toss green chilis on top of a dish that is asked to be spicy, didn't even bother to mix it in the curry), we went back and forth as she said if we want something else , we will be charged for this item regardless, so when I asked her to speak with a manger she said she can try to fix the curry. So all that was done was they stirred the curry and served it back. The place is packed but the servers are messing up on orders when bringing it to the table. Curry on, please improve on this.. I have recommended this place to many family and friends and would hate to say it's not worth going. Venue is renovated and looks neat and wider. Came here late one night with a couple friends only because there was no where open 11:30 at night. We were seated down and the waiter gave us complimentary water. It tasted like tap water. My friends ordered the goat biryani (extra spicy) and the curry on biryani (mild). They both loved the biryani, however, one of them had to keep taking little bones out his mouth, making him not enjoy the food. It was just annoying for him. I ordered the chicken tikka masala. It came with rice and I ordered garlic naan to go with it. My dish was very good! We didn't like the service. We only saw our waiter when we were seated, gave us water, drinks, and our food. Didn't bother to ask if everything was alright. I had to ask him for the bill. I went up to him to the bar when I payed it. The bathroom was alright. The faucet is broken. I only washed my hands. This may have been 4 stars, if not for the hour and a half delivery for a mile jaunt. Delivery.com had a 10% off coupon, which I used for Sunday dinner. An order of their chaat (fried dough and chickpeas with masala spices and a side of yogurt), a chicken vinadloo (with an ample amount of tender, boneless chicken and a few pieces of potato in a well-balanced curry), and a piece of pudina (mint) paratha easily made for two meals. The chaat was a nice mix of textures, if a little under-seasoned, while the vindaloo thankfully didn't disappoint on the heat. The paratha was properly flaky but lacking in mint. All in all, good-if-not-outstanding food coupled with horrendous delivery times.
