Yesterday we visited Curry Mango for the first time and our experience was outstanding. We immediately got seated. In les than a minute the waitress came with the menu and brought a complimentary basket of papadum with different sauces. Our meal came out pretty quickly, hot and with a beautiful presentation. My husband had chicken fried rice medium spicy, I ordered the chicken dum biriyani. For dessert we had Gulab Jamun. Everything was exquisite. The waitresses didn't engage in lengthy conversations, but they pleasantly answered all of my questions and checked on us often and refilled our cups of water. The place is super clean. We saw how meticulously they clean the tables and floor when people leave, and that is not something common in other restaurants. The restrooms were super clean too. Cleanliness is one of my top requirements when I go to a restaurant. The only thing ai would recommend is that they ask their clients if they have any allergies. I think that is a must and they are missing there. Hopefully they read this and implement it as soon as possible. For us, Curry Mango exceeded our expectations. So this is my third trip to Curry Mango and I was pleasantly surprised that they have a lunch buffet for $12. What a great deal. Of course, I had to have a bowl of the lentil soup which again was velvety and flavorful. I tried everything on the lunch buffet, and it was flavorful and interesting. If you can make it during the week during lunch, the $12 buffet is a bargain for such quality food. Wrong food was brought out. Had taken a bite and found out it was wrong. When the waiter was informed, owner came over to check. Started to put something on the plate because t needed taken away. Curry Mango never in er disappoints. First dined hear maybe 4 years ago and even dined with family here Christmas Eve 2021. The food is unbelievably delicious and fresh, and portions are ample. It's au hentic East Indian food made from scratch. We have brought many friends and family here from near and far, and even those who never had eaten East Indian food before, loved it. There is something for everyone. Chicken, beef, lamb seafood, fish and vegetarian. The rice is amazing as are the breads (we love the Naan breads) and the many sauces in various dishes. The ambiance is upscale. Carpeted floors keep the sound level down. Everything is clean, including the nice restrooms. Really good Indian restaurant in Lakeland. Prices are pretty standard ($15-20 for curry) and you get a good amount. You get to choose your spice level. Complementary appetizer of the chips and chutnies, which I always love. I had the malai kofta and it was awesome. Will be back for sure. read more

The food is always very good with good service. The restaurant is nicely decorated with bright colors and pictures. There are a couple of tv's going but the sound is down on them. They offer exotic adult beverages that are very tasty. The beer is pretty good too. I have eaten here so many times I can't tell you what is my favorite because everything is good. I would definitely recommend the garlic nan bread. My wife would say the mixed tandoori is the best. While I enjoy it often I would also say the curry is amazing as well. One of the best Indian restaurants in US. We were there on vacation and took to go. They are from Kerala one of the southern state in India. First of all, the packing is exceptional. We ordered goat biryani , naan and paneer vindaloo. Goat Biriyani : Being to Kerala and tasted their authentic biriyani. I would say it was close to that one. Remember you can't generalize biriyani. The taste, ingredients differ form the region you are from. I really like the pickle that came along with it. Paneer vindaloo: It was good too. Naan: freshly made. Overall: you may think it's pricey. My family and I love Curry Mango. It's our favorite Indian restaurant in Lakeland. The service has always been friendly. The food is fresh and delicious. You ask for spicy, and that's what you get. Some places tone it down it seems and some of us like the spice!! Every dish can be made mild, medium, or spicy. Their curry dishes are amazing and so is there Biryani dishes. Open 11 AM till 10 PM all seven days, this Indian restaurant opened in late 2019. It is definitely vegetarian & vegan-friendly. There's a $15 LUNCH BUFFET on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday from 11 AM to 2:30 PM. (This is when I'd return.) As patrons enter, they'll immediately notice the bar. Beer, Wine, Martinis, & Cocktails are available. Unfortunately, the bartender was unable to make the Martinis we would have liked to have-- no chocolate or coffee-flavored vodka. (There are just three Martini varieties on the menu.) However, the complete menu is a decent size w/ varied offerings. (It has a large lamb/goat section, which many Indian restaurants do not have.) The menu is categorized beautifully, which makes it very user-friendly. Subsections include: APPETIZERS (6), VEGETARIAN APPETIZERS (5), SOUPS (2), SIDES (9), BREADS (7, w/ all but two flavored Nan), TANDOORI SPECIALITIES (7), SEAFOOD SPECIALITIES (8), CHICKEN SPECIALITIES (9), VEGETARIAN SPECIALITIES (12), LAMB/GOAT SPECIALITIES (10), RICE & DUM BURYANI (12), VEGAN SPECIALITIES (7), EXOTIC MARTINIS (3), COCKTAILS & DREAMS (5), KIDS MENU (3-- each $7) DRSSERTS (4), NON ALCOHOLIC DRINKS (6), BEER (4 on tap & 8 bottled-- Indian & American), & WINE (11 varieties by the glass or bottled). Our two appetizers were very good, especially the CHILI CHICKEN ($12), which was EXCELLENT-- SEE PIC. (Our other appetizer was the Vegetarian Samosa @ $7). The $3.50 cost for a very small serving of Raita (a yogurt mix) was unfortunate. It was also listed on the menu @ $3, not $3.50. We absolutely LOVED the PESHWARI NAN w/ its dried nuts & fruit ($5)-- truly DELICIOUS (See pic). There were other varieties of Nan as well. The restaurant is large & its decor is bright & modern. Curry Mango, by the name alone, just sounds like a cool place- and when you see how it looks on the outside this consideration is only furthered. So, I was of course excited to try it out and see if the food matches the hype. I also love Indian food, it's one of my favorite ethnic foods so there was little reason not to look forward to it. The first time I tried Curry Mango, we took a togo order. I got the lamb tikka masala, and it was disappointing, that's all I can say. I've had Indian quite a bit, as I said it's one of my favorites, and this particular rinks masala just didn't taste right. Along with this, the lamb itself had a lot of fat in it, so I felt like I was eating more fat than lean meat and it was actually really disgusting. But, I thought maybe either they just had a bad night or I was overreacting. So I didn't want to jump the gun on my overall opinion of CM. Next time, I dined in for dinner with my friend. I decided not to get the tikka masala because I was too nervous from the first time. So, indeed I tried the Mango Chicken Curry, and I'll give props it was really good! The sweet mango and the spice of the curry was super unique even for an Indian dish and I actually loved it. My friend did try the tikka masala, though. And I tried a bite just to see how it compared and it tasted off to me again. And she agreed too, this tikka masala was just not good. If you go here I'd definitely recommend the mango chicken curry! I guess take your chances on the tikka masala but after two times of it going wrong I certainly won't. The service here is okay, it's all men and some of them are nice but a lot of them lack a personality and it's almost a little awkward when they serve you. In normal times they do have a buffet, thought I'm not sure if covid is messing with that right now. If I go again and find out I'll update this, but so far I haven't found anywhere saying if it's open or closed. read more

I tried their coconut rice and I could not believe that something That wonderful has existed for so long and I've never tried it before. If you like really lite& warm, coconut flavors, you would love their coconut rice. It's made of real rice, but they infuse it with coconut flavors and ingredients and it's just a light taste and the texture is wonderful as well. They're very quick and they're used to to go orders so it's not a big deal to order any of their dishes to go. But be warned you will not be able to eat the entire entrée by yourself. November 12, 2022. Usually we dine in, this was a takeaway order via Uber. We ordered Butter Chicken, Vegetable Korma, Tadka Dal, Baingan (eggplant) Masala, Peshwari Naan and Garlic Naan. Everything was good, but we would not order the vegetable korma again. We were very disappointed by the measly portion of vegetables; it was mostly sauce, only 100 grams of vegetables (peas, cauliflower, broccoli, carrot). It tasted good though. The highlight was the eggplant. We've had it in the restaurant and now takeout; it's superb either way, a really good portion, a little spicy and the eggplant cooked to perfection. The Peshwari naan is my favorite naan. The dal was good. It seemed a little bland to me. It may be that dal is supposed to be like that. I've made it at home, and it had a bit more bite, but I'm not an experienced cook with south Asia cuisine. read more
