Basically it is not a table sit down restaurant. They do have counter top seating. Tables outside are shared between all establishments. It is a cute place. The staff are so nice. They make the food fresh. The place is super clean. They just open for a week ago when I arrived at the Bowen yard for the first time specifically to try BG Indian. They were busy for lunch. I orders garlic naan, chicken tikka masala bowl. I also tired of their homemade juice. Which was refreshing you can taste the lavender in the drink. The chicken masala chunks were amazing spicy but flavorful and not so spicy it hurt to eat. Came out super fresh hot and crispy and the sauce was sweet and delicious. Service was good took about 15 minutes for the food and Bowen Yard is a great place to eat it's a food hall type of place with a few options all are good you can't go wrong. read more

As soon as I started recording he stopped yelling. They made a mistake entering my order I asked for butter chicken but butter paneer was entered. I don't eat paneer so it was highly unlikely my wife wanted to just piss me off and get me something I didn't want. Instead of accepting that they made a mistake, he told me too bad I had to take it because they had already started it. Then started yelling when I asked for a refund. He called me a liar and unwelcome me from coming back. I ask for a refund because they really lack in customer service and yelling at your customers and flipping them off when you leave is a bit childish. They lost my business for life. Rude people. Easily one of the most disrespectful experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. The owner at BG's Indian Kitchen got my order wrong, yelled at me, and then told me not to come back -- all because I asked for a refund on their mistake. He even admitted he had someone "in training" taking the order, yet somehow decided to blame me instead of taking responsibility. When I was leaving with my family, the owner rushed outside, handed me a receipt, and flipped me off -- right in front of my wife and my 5-year-old son. My son even asked, "What's wrong with him?" That's how unprofessional and out of control this man behaved. And if I was supposedly so rude, then by all means -- share your camera footage, just like I did. It will clearly show this was your and your trainee's mistake, which you already admitted. I'd strongly recommend anyone thinking of eating here to go somewhere else. No customer deserves to be yelled at, blamed, and flipped off over a simple food order. read more

Went here yesterday with my wife for the first time I wanted to try their butter chicken bowl. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was delicious. Everything was made fresh to order. Nothing is rewarmed. I had the butter chicken bowl and the masala popcorn chicken. The wife had the vegetable samosas. I like how they gauge their heat scale based on American pallet so I had mine medium. The wife had hers hot and everything was exceptional. We will definitely be going again. read more

My partner and I came across this eatery after searching for a place to eat today and were so pleasantly surprised. Upon arrival the courtyard of the Bowen area was so cozy and curated to be able to eat and try out different establishments right next door to one another. We decided to eat at BG's Indian Kitchen which was by far the best choice we could chosen. Raj and his wife were very welcoming and kind beyond any warmth we have ever encountered at an establishment. Our hearts were so touched by their genuine kindness and amazing hospitality. I got the chickpeas and rice, mild, which was a burst of flavors and filling textures. It was Indian comfort food at its finest. My partner enjoyed her butter chicken in which she described as extremely flavorful and warm for the soul. Paired up with an Indian soda, Thumbs up which was very similar to Pepsi without the corn syrup. We can't wait to return with our children so they can experience the menu items since Indian food is their favorite. I think we found a new gem we will frequent as often as we can. Absolutely delicious! Almost everything is available in mild, medium, or hot. I'm a wimp and got mild, it was delicious. So much flavor, had to eat it slow because the heat builds. Mild is not no heat, but it is a very doable heat. The family running it is hilarious and the service is amazing. He was joking that hot is "American hot" and I can't imagine what hot for his family would be considering I could barely handle mild. Hahaha. We got the chicken tikka, the chickpeas and rice, two samosas, masala popcorn chicken, garlic naan, and the mango lassi. Don't skip the mango lassi!!! It's amazing. (It's a sweet mango yogurt-based drink). Wasn't the most affordable Indian food I've ever had, but we'll get two meals out of it. The price is more than fair, the meal is filling. I ordered from this wonderful place through Uber Eats when I was on vacation visiting LEGOLAND. These are by far the best Indian fusion noodles (Hakka noodles) I have ever eaten in my life.
