I would have gotten the squid or oyster fry. They weren't too busy. He put in his order and got his food 10 minutes later. I haven't been here in years and was craving some comfort food, I wanted something with white rice and thought curry would be great! I was surprised to see they are still take out only and looks like it will remain that way. They charge 3% for credit card. I ordered the stewed chicken and spinach and got it spicy. It wasn't too spicy but just enough for the kick. I enjoyed it and tastes just how I remember. Love the pickled pickles it comes with. Came here for lunch. Ever since I had this in Japan, I was super excited to see they opened some locations in California and Hawaii. Ordered through my AI (1st mistake on my part). Worker answered "hello Curry House". Didn't think twice and made order. I have Curry house saved on my phone from when I lived town. Got to this location, no order. Checked number, and it was mccully. No ways, AI Fail. Worker was like, is there any chance u can go pick up from there. LADY! It's 5pm, no chance in HE77 I'm driving through town traffic again. She grumbled and walked away and still talking to other employees about the order. Still needed food, so ordered with cashier and left a good sized tip. Lady still going on about it in the back. Finally, order was ready, new lady gives bags and is like make sure you're calling the right location next time. I'm about to go off on this person already. I understand the other location took what might be a loss but it's not like i orderd weird stuff. Right after I ordered, I heard someone phone in almost the same exact order as mines. It was a mistake and mistakes happen! Your customer does not need to hear about it 50 times and hear you grumble about it in the back. You should have your locations CLEARLY state their location when answering phones. It would have avoided this from the get go. As for food, it's MID. Mabo tofu udon had no flavor. Gyozas and shumai were ok. Didn't wanna mention it but there was a HAIR last time under my chicken cutlet and not from the HEAD! It was UNDER the cutlet so its impossible to be mines. This is my go to curry place to go. But I was a little disappointed that we couldn't eat in the restaurant area like the Kapolei one. So we had to do take out and eat at home but the food was still delicious as always. Definitely would recommend to get curry here. We needed something quick and tasty and I spotted Curry House on the way to our next destination. They are located in a little strip mall across of Pearl Ridge and have a handful of parking stalls. We walked in and were bummed to find that this location is TAKE OUT ONLY, but we were already there and decided to just order. Inside looked pretty unkempt and more like a storage or closet of sorts. It didn't look like they'll be doing dine-in anytime soon. I ended up ordering the chicken cutlet with cheese which is a local favorite. Our order came out pretty quickly and the container was piping hot! We ended up eating our food in the car, but man it hit the spot. The chicken was hot and crunchy and the curry paired perfectly with it. My son enjoyed it as well. I like how the sauce is kept separately in the container so that the chicken stays crispy and you can just dip each bit in the sauce. I have not been to a Curry House in FOREVER, but this was a good reminder of how tasty it could be. Glad we stopped here for a quick bite! read more

Ok. So I just wanted to update my first review. Curry house is great. The trick is to call in your order for dinner rather than going in and ordering at the counter. Perhaps that's obvious but I'm slow. Chicken cutlet curry is fantastic. They tend to stop selling it about 30 mins before closing which often sucks for me because I can't always get there soon enough. The beef and vegetarian curry is ok but not as good as the chicken cutlet! Biggest thing is they close at 7pm. Everyday. So you better know that you want to go to this place otherwise you'll likely miss out. It's worth it though. read more

Came here for a quick lunch on Mother's Day and it says on their website that they are open. Basically drove 45 minutes to get there and the place is closed. Curry here is amazing! Been coming to this location for some time, and the food is always consistent. Price point here on the cheaper side, but for the value it definitely worth more. The only thing here is that it really needs to go back to sit down dining service. That way you can enjoy the curry when it served piping hot from the kitchen. read more
