Best thing they do is allow you to come back and finish a piece so there is never a rush. They have a puppy (I say puppy but she's an older dog) that frequents the shop, I do believe the owners husband owns the leather shop next door and they have the door open to it sometimes. I'd pop in there from time to time to see the beautiful work he does. Back to Lily Pad, their prices go from $-$$$ so expect a range and if you're on a budget make sure to establish yours before entering because you'll end up like me and spend $$$ each time on just yourself. They offer homeschool classes, spring and summer break camps, and other events as well. We've attended a few and they're always fun. There has only been one time where I had a bit of a negative experience and it was because my item that I spent a few hours on had exploded in their kiln. They did offer for me to come in and paint a new one but due to time constraints by the time I was able to come in the item I originally painted which was a Halloween decor item no longer fit my decor and since it was spring I asked if I could change it. I was not allowed to change for an equal or lesser priced item sadly. We moved on, painted the original piece. No issue just wish I could have switched it. Still cute though. Overall, the young ladies she has working there are sweet and helpful and it's a nice spot to relax with family for some fun. They also offer military discounts.

She gave us a tour of her store, explaining the fibers and showing sample projects made with the yarns. She has obviously carefully considered every item she carries. While I didn't place a special order, I have confidence that she would be able to find just about anything for a specific project. The selection in store is varied both in price and in fiber content. Everyone will be able to find something here. Her notions collection is adequate, though not extensive, but again, something she could likely special order or direct customers to solid sources. The shop is brightly lit and very clean. In non-pandemic times, there is some seating for gathering. overall, a very positive shopping experience and I will gladly visit again when I'm in the area! We recently visited Potts 'N Paints (PNP) to celebrate a birthday. The birthday girl requested…read morepainting so PNP seemed like just the right place! The shop is pretty spacious, lengthwise. As soon as you walk in, you will see several shelving units of many ceramic projects of all different themes and sizes on the left, with tables in the middle and right side and cash out desk in the back corner. If you walk down the passage a little bit, it'll lead you to the paint area. I didn't walk all the way back, but I am assuming that leads to the party rooms as several people were led back there during our visit. The kids picked their projects and then one of their staff members, led them to the paint bar and explained the different kinds of paints and gave them some tips on how to use the paint and tools. Things to note: - You pay a studio fee plus the cost of the item (most things have price tags on the bottom of the item) - they claim to be the only open paint bar in the area. They let you use as much paint as you want, so be mindful and don't be wasteful - they have some options for drinks and snacks, although very limited, but I guess this can come in handy if you end up being there for awhile and get carried away with painting (drinks and snacks were very inexpensive) - you must go back at a later date to pick up the projects, so they can fire them up and glaze them. - they also have non-ceramic items for you to paint like canvas and wood The turnaround was very quick! Not sure if it was a slower time or if it's because we didn't have that many people in our party, but the items were ready in just a few days! I was so surprised when they called. Underpromise and overdeliver is always a smart business practice. Great place to pass the time and "make" something of your own. Stay safe, Friends!

This is my second delivery from Tri-City Materials, for the same kind of stone (River Rock). I…read morethought the first load was light, meaning that I didn't the full 2 yards I ordered and paid for. I mentioned this to the lady at the stone yard's ordering window, when I placed the second order. I also confirmed how many bucket scoops of each kind of bucket I could expect and took pictures of the buckets. When the driver arrived, the load looked to be 2 yards. However, when he proceeded to dump, I could tell that the load wasn't quite right, but figured I could work with it. This delivery was so filled with clay that I had to quadruple my work by loading the stone in the wheelbarrow and rinsing it several times, before placing it. I guess they made sure I got my 2 yards of material, even if the same amount of stone was the same as the first load. Overall, the ordering process was straight forward, the delivery came when they said it would, the driver was extremely courteous (he called me "Sir" a whole lot), and the cleaned stone was the proper size. I'll let you be the judge on if my assessment is accurate or inaccurate, based on the attached images. If possible, I would say you should try to be there when they are loading up, if you can swing it and coordinate it with them. My recommendation is Buyer Beware. UPDATE 14AUG2023 The is a re-post of the update I also made on my Google review. I contacted the company as requested. I said that the Load Master should have caught the heavy clay issue, especially since it would have likely required multiple buckets. I was told that the stone on rare occasions is not sufficiently cleaned before leaving the sourcing rock yard. The rep said that they also run the loader and that they agreed with me and would meet with whoever loaded mine to discuss. I got the genuine impression from the rep I talked to that this was an deviation from how they do business and somebody went off script. I received a refund for 1/2 of my order (they did this on their own with no prompting from me) ,and the process was straight forward and smooth. Based on the consideration I received and swiftness of action, I have changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars.
