My husband and I both really liked the salads we ordered. (Monterey and Super Food) The portions were a good size. I only ate half and will have the other half for lunch tomorrow. My only complaint was that the kale in the Super Food salad was not cut off the stem( which can be pretty bitter). The picture shows how much stem I picked out of half a salad. First- we don't have the option to eat in because they don't have high chairs. Not a little kid friendly place even though my toddler likes their food. Go through the drive thru when no one else is around and they ask you to wait every single time. They can't hear your order. You wait at the window for a long time and they avoid eye contact even when you haven't paid yet. The wait is so long and no one is in the restaurant. So my food should be fresh, right? I love the Bangkok bowl, its why we keep coming back. But the tofu the last two times has been stale and this time some of it is burnt to a crisp AND stale. Long wait for stale food? My review is based on my drive thru experiences. I was driving along route 59 and saw an area with really cool sounding fast casual restaurants. I pulled over to check out the Currito menu on my cell phone and decided to give them a try. I was the ONLY person in line at the drive through about 3pm on a Saturday so there really is NO excuse for how long it took for me to get my order. Almost 30 minutes. I almost fell asleep in the car waiting. After I ordered at the drive up menu board someone came to the window and took my payment (which you really should NOT do until the person is getting ready to get their order), and then left me for almost 30 minutes. Had I NOT paid I would have left. I was so hangry (hungry and angry). My order: two smoothies and a nutella shake. Both good but overpriced. Also, a grain bowel and a salad. Once I got home I realized they got the order backwards. One should have been the other. Ingredients seemed fresh. On this same day I ordered from a chicken place next door and got my food hot, fresh and delicious within 5 minutes. The service was awesome! Prior to, I'd stopped by Crumbl cookies in the area. They are super popular and busy. There service was so streamlined I was in and out in 5 minutes. What's up with Currito? Cant use no employees as an excuse to take peoples money and make them wait this long especially when other fast casual restaurants are moving lines fast! I decided to give a second chance yesterday. Stopped by and ordered 3 smoothies. Big mistake. Again, I am the ONLY car in line. Payment taken before order was ready to be given to me so I was STUCK for 23 minutes. Twenty three minutes for 3 smoothies. Jamba Juice would never. And they are always crowded. The cashier apologized but that doesn't take away from the dreadfully long wait time. I could have gotten frozen fruit at the store and blended it up at home in less time than this and for less money. Geesh. I will not return to Currito. There are too many other places to get similar food and smoothies that get me in and out in decent time and with a long line. read more

Wasn't expecting much considering the recent boom of "bowl" fast food joints. But Currito is unique with there variety of bowls and delicious smoothie and shake options. I got the summer bowl, and man was it delicious. They have more traditional bowls and wraps, like the one's you'd get from a chipotle, and they have specialty's like Mediterranean, Leaf and Nuts, and Buffalo Chicken. So I've never heard of this place before. Just saw it driving by and decided to give it a try. I mean a healthy drive through option is already a plus for me. When I got to the window, I didn't know how to use the rewards system and the cashier called a gentleman over to help. He told me what to do and it involved downloading an app and creating an account. He just gave me a reward off my purchase so I can do the download later since I was in line already. He was seriously the nicest guy and was so sweet. First time eating there, ordered a grain wrap and it was bomb. The flavors were amazing and it was so good. Tried for the first time the other day and already craving more! I did a build your own bowl and ordered the autumn gold smoothie. The smoothie is a different but bold and fresh taste. The bowl I ordered was with completely random choices I thought would taste good but didn't think they would compliment each other so well! Overall was such a refreshing and enjoyable place. I had been wanting to try this place for several months and finally had the chance- sadly it wasn't what I expected. It sort of tasted like when you're at a place that doesn't specialize in heathy food, but you're trying really hard to eat better so you order their take on healthy, which is just pieced together with the ingredients used in their more common dishes. The chicken is mostly dark meat and the ingredients don't shine the way you'd hope for in such a simple meal. I think that's key when making bowls and salads especially- good ingredients. First time stopping by after work, finally get to try this place out , I work right across the street. Employees from Currito were handing out menus and free coupons for a free entree to our business office. They stopped by twice, so I had 2 coupons. So I finally went to order, got to the window and I asked the gentlemen if I could use 2 coupons, he said I could only use one. Which was fine I didn't mind paying for the other bowl, and I did with no problem. Then this was very off putting for me, he questioned me "oh how did you get 2 coupons anyway" , I said "I work right across the street". Then, he says "oh because we Mailed these out , so I was wondering how's you got two". Honestly it wasn't a big deal, but it put me under the impression that I was going from peoples mailboxes stealing coupons.
