I was worried it would be too beet overbearing. It was not. You can barely taste them! It was really good and I enjoyed the cashew milk with it. Over 20 days later, I am not expecting to hear from the site, despite saying I would like someone to reach out. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. The $23 for the half filled acai bowls was a complete money grab with horrific customer service. **** I arrived at 7:10pm with my two kids that were looking forward to açaí bowls. I tried ordering on the app but was having issues logging in so I figured it would be easier to order in the store. We were the only customers in the store. I begin to place my order and ask them to substitute various things (all are options in the app). The woman working there says she doesn't think you can. I said the app gives me those options, should I just order online?? She says yes. I place my order - 2 different açaí bowls for $23. She makes two of the same bowls with the wrong toppings. She then fixes one and brings it back, it is still missing the banana that it comes with!!! She then says, they are out of banana. She does not offer any additional fruit or extra berries or anything. My son takes his bowl and is happy. She then tries to give me the other bowl that has the hazelnut drizzle on it. I explain that the bowl I ordered for my daughter does not have hazelnut because she does not like it and has mango. She says she will make a new one, takes the bowl adds mango and brings it back to me. I am not a difficult person, however, my daughter would not eat it with the hazelnut and for $23, we should get what we ordered. Annoyed, she throws the bowl in the trash. She makes a new one and asks me about the toppings again. Finally, 30 minutes later we leave with two açaí bowls. For $12 these bowls are certainly lacking!!!! We will stick with Pure Raw Juice by the mall moving forward. This experience was a complete disaster.

The salsa was the first thing tipping me off that we'd stumbled upon was likely a local gem. It's not so thick that I think it's a tomato paste concoction. Tastes like real home made from scratch salsa. Not too much but a very nice kick to it. Peppery, oniony, refreshing punch of lime. The queso hit everything I wanted and wasn't just plain cheese nor was it gritty or plastic-y. Tasted exactly like I expected! Smoky peppers did a lot for flavor here. I was sad not finding my regular burrito from this kinda of establishment. A simple beef burrito smothered in a red sauce of some variety with rice and beans. I asked the server if there was a smothered burrito and he informed me that the combo deal was what I was looking for. In which I got two burritos, rice and beans. The red sauce that my two burritos came smothered in was rich, tangy, oniony and was still nicely acidic from the tomato. You can really tell they taste their food. Burrito Loco that my accomplice ate was also really good. Maybe a little more salt on the veg but that's coming from someone notorious for over salting fries at work. I love salty food, so that's just a personal taste thing. The service was amazing. It all came together when I went into the bathroom, though. It was so clean that it snapped the whole picture together of why this place is so surprisingly good. It's staff genuinely cares about their place of work. Kitchen and front of house alike, everything here was impeccable. You can tell there are people here invested in their workplace. Highly recommend stopping in or frequenting if possible. They had a fun looking drink menu, I just forgot to order my agua fresca Jamaica, so I'm sorry to say I can't report on that.
