Yes, easily removable on a gloss surface, generally. HOWEVER, direct-to-paper pricing stickers are a complete dealbreaker for 1960s-1980s matte paperbacks. Vintage paperbacks from publishers like Ace, DAW, and Ballantine used uncoated covers. Trying to peel them off with alcohol or ever a dryer ruin the book's value and is heartbreaking for lovers of old paperbacks. It's unfortunate.

Toys, games, stationary, music, etc it feels up to date. The Starbucks inside is big with plenty of seating and drinks are solid. Service is good. The staff here are overall helpful and friendly which is really refreshing. As a Lego nerd I was really surprised with their selection which was impressive for a bookstore. Decent deals on their legos and their books. It's nice to support local and smaller businesses that are getting harder and harder to find. This place is a cozy retail space that has 3rd space vibes for you to hang out for a bit while you shop and get a coffee. Would recommend and will be back.

Almost everything is identical as to when they really were growing. That can be said about this location. It felt like it was built a long while ago and they haven't done anything to update it as of yet. Obviously the sections have changed a bit in terms of size and what is offered overall. I found it surprising that they still had a vibrant DVD section (although I am sure they switched over to Blu-ray). The café in the store was going strong while I walked through. I will have to say that my purpose from coming in here was to take a trip down memory lane, and that was about it. I didn't need a book, or magazine, I just wanted to dip my toe into a bit of nostalgia.

This locally-owned shop is giving Hallmark small town holiday movie vibes in the best way possible…read more I am a bookstore frequenter but I always find really unique and fun titles whenever I browse around -- the booksellers always have the best recommendations and I love checking out their little handwritten card descriptions. They got rid of their little wine bar several years ago but have expanded their children's section into a comfortable little nook that is perfect for finding your next best read. They also have the best gift selection for adults and children and tons of unique activity books (perfect for snowstorms like this weekend!). Love, love, love this shop.

Like any small bookstore it works because you can come and work with them for what you need, and make a visit of a walk about to anything else in Vienna. They serve the most wonderful sandwiches! An assortment of tasty treats that will amaze you. They have racks and racks of magazines to purchase or read while you eat. I always get a sandwich, I forget the name, but it is ham with brie cheese on foccashia bread. They also have a German sandwich and Italian...very eclectic and Divine.

Birch Tree Books & Plants is a really interesting combination of a business…read more The store itself is chock full of books and, of course, plants in a series of little rooms in a house in downtown Leesburg.  It's a fun place to wander through and look at what is on each shelf and in the corners.  There are other cute quirks such as a wheel you can spin with each purchase.  You can win candy or a small prize among other options.  It's a little extra fun and the kids loved it when we visited.  We were there for an author talk which took place upstairs in a bigger, open and light-filled room.  The set up worked very well, providing a casual atmosphere but also one that was very intimate due to the smaller number of chairs the space could accommodate. The event was well run and we will definitely keep our eye on the calendar for future events.  Parking is convenient in nearby garages.

It is also quite small, which makes the inventory important. Unfortunately, their inventory is heavy on romance, historical fiction, some new releases, and children's books, which don't happen to be genres I read often. If these are your genres, Birch Tree should be on your to visit list! It is a very cute bookshop and will make some readers immensely happy.
