They use only the best seasonal ingredients. Ambiance. What can beat a view of Narragansett Bay watching the sail boats go by? Knowledge. Have a wine tasting with Carl and he will amaze you with the level of knowledge about the ingredients and the wines that are being served. Im pretty sure he spends countless hours studying the wines, the region where it comes from, and how it harmonizes with the food you are about to eat. Carls usually our waiter but everyone here is excellent. Passion. Its the main ingredient that binds everything together. The workers here are passionate about hospitality. They are all there to make sure you have the absolute best experience possible and it shows. From the valet, to the hostess, to the waiters and waitresses they always bring their A game. Its 2026. There's many things I'm not sure in this life. But one thing I am sure of is that when I walk through the doors of Castle Hill (Aurelia) I'm going to have an amazing meal and more importantly an amazing experience. Beech Jamestown Where Date Night Dreams Come True…read more Listen, I don't write reviews often. But Beech in Jamestown had me pulling out my phone faster than I pull out my wallet at the end of a great meal. We showed up early like the eager, slightly-too-hungry couple we are. Did they make us wait awkwardly by the hostess stand? Absolutely not. They swept us into a bright, window-wrapped room so cheerful it practically hugged us. Turns out they'd lost power earlier that day. LOST POWER. You wouldn't have known it. These people were cooler than the other side of the pillow. Now. The food. Oh, the FOOD. I got the steak with puréed pomme, asparagus, and carrots, and I need you to understand -- this thing had a sear on it that made me want to stand up and applaud. The sauce? Somebody's grandmother's secret recipe dipped in liquid gold. It melted in my mouth so fast I briefly forgot my own name. My wife had to remind me we were in public. Speaking of my wife -- she ordered the Tortellacci. Stuffed pasta, porcini mushrooms, ricotta, limoncello cream sauce, white truffle shavings. She took one bite and just stared at me. No words. Just stared. That's how you know it was BANANAS. In the best possible way. The rolls came out hot and fresh, which is honestly its own love language. Our water and bread gal? Sunshine in human form. Smiling, attentive, welcoming -- the kind of person who makes you feel like a guest, not a table number. Our waitress treated us like family, which for two people on date night is exactly the vibe you need. Beech, you had us at the bread. You kept us at the steak. We'll be back on this island, and you will absolutely see our faces again. 10/10. No notes. Just compliments.

We tried the trumpet mushroom main course and it was interesting but kinda of fell short. And pretty pricey for what you got. The pasta puttanesca special was fine but again not that memorable. Overall I would go back for a drink but not to eat.

We started with a flight (Gemini, pinot noir, and 2 ciders) which were all tasty. We had with 3 cheeses (camembert, bloomsday, and harvest moon) which were all very good. I got the steak and my girlfriend got chicken, both dishes were nice and flavorful. Dessert was a lava chocolate cookie with ice cream on top, which was fantastic Staff was friendly and attentive, and the ambience was lively but a moderate volume. Most importantly, very modest pricing for the quality of food. We will be back if in the newport area again

Although the tour guide (who never introduced herself so I do not know what her name was) was incredibly knowledgeable. I appreciated how much knowledge she had about the process and the wine varieties. But the tour should be a little more involved for the money you pay for it. The store is awesome. They had so many really unique items , you could easily spend some money in there. The wine is excellent, too. I tried about four different ones at the tasting and not one was bad. Overall a positive experience and I look forward to coming back for lunch in june!

Sandy was our amazing server, provided great recommendations and very attentive to her respective tables. Cocktails were great, antipasto was a great start not too much to leave room for the main and desert! The focaccia was light and flavorful as well. Had the rigatoni bolognese which was prepared perfectly and had great flavor. Nearly licked the plate clean! Saved a little room for desert with both cakes being tasty and washed down with an espresso martini. Lovely place to have a date night or night out with friends!

She was nice enough to let me try them and I chose the Trevino which was very good and paired great with my food. The bread was nothing special but solid and the high quality olive oil made up for it. For my main I got the chicken milanese and it was divine. I loved the vinaigrette on top perfectly acidic and vinegary. It cut though the oil and heaviness of the breading which was perfectly salted by the way. The arugula bean salad was sooo good and created such a well balanced meal. The one thing I will say is I believe their fryer does fish and chicken bc my chicken had a slight ocean taste but since I like fish I was not bothered but non fish people beware!
