I wasn't so sure if it was open since it was hidden behind a seasonal snow cone shop. There wasn't really a parking lot but there are street and neighborhood parking. I thought it was going to be a lot with christmas trees for sale but it was more than that. There are multiple small retail buildings thoughtout the garden grounds. It may look like someones home but walk right in. Each building has different products to browse through like gardens supplies, home decor, kitchen goods, and appropriately christmas home decor. There was a greenhouse that I loved to browse through. I might have enjoyed walking through the greenhouse the most since it shielded me from the cold outside. Although there isn't drinks on the premises, there was a self serve hot cocoa area which was nice to walk around to warm yourself with. I would love to come back and stroll the area during spring and summer with all the flowers bloomed in their gardens.

There's multiple little sheds and tiny houses dotted throughout the gardens, each one with a different theme. Some are more focused towards plants and others have beautiful artwork and interesting trinkets. This spot is owned by the same people behind The Margaret Cleveland in Bolton Hill and although I've never had a chance to stop by there, judging by the window displays, both locations are very well curated. I could've spent hours meandering around each of the tiny homes looking at all the interesting goodies they have. If you're looking for a housewarming gift or really any gift at all, this is such a good spot to hit up - especially for that person who maybe seems like they already have everything. There's a lot of unique cards and other items that would certainly make for a memorable gift. Although the prices on some items were a bit high, other items were surprisingly reasonable. It's one of those places you could easily spend $250 or $25 depending on what you're looking for. All the ladies that work there were super nice too and you could tell they were excited to share more information. I will definitely be back!

For $9.99, I couldn't leave without buying a new plant. Poor Boys has all of your needs to tend to your plants and garden. From soil and neem oil to planter pots and worm castings. They carried a good selection of annual and perennial plants for your garden as well as a smaller selection of herbs, greens, and lettuce, given the major gardening season is starting to come to an end. They even had different types of fruit trees with fruit already on the limbs. The young guy working in the garden center was really nice and answered the various questions I had. He even helped me bring my items to the car. If you've got a green thumb and are in need of some new house plants or new items for your garden, then definitely give Poor Boy a visit.

We spoke on several occasions (May 13, May 23 and Jun 2, 2024) regarding replacing several transplanted plants that did not recover and specific options to replace those plants. On June 2, 2024, he text that he was aiming to come on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. He did not come and I contacted him again on June 28, 2024 via text. He apologized and said he would be by on June 30, 2024. I then received a second text from him on June 28, 2024, asking me to review photos for replacement plants. I am confused because we spoke of specific replacement plants three previous times, but I did not immediately respond because I had to go out of town unexpectedly. He did not come on June 30, 2024, as he stated. I responded back to him when I came back in town on July 1, 2024, noting that we had discussed replacements previously but if those options were not available, I would defer to his professional judgement. I just wanted it done. As of today, July 16, 2024, I have received no response and no plants were replaced. I believe I have been more than patient. This is unacceptable.

I requested a replacement, but the service team stated that I missed the one-yer warranty period by a week. If you charge that much for your product, you should back it up. Not coming through because I missed a one-year window by a week is unfair and shortsighted. One would be better off buying from Lowe's or Home Depot a quarter mile north. What does one receive for the premium pricing? Better plants? Nope, mine died. Better service? Nope, denied replacement because of a week. The value is not there.
