Look, we've all dealt with the State of Hawaii for things, so I had to psych myself up for the red tape I was about to claw through, but I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. I looked into it and filled out the application online on Friday, made a telemedicine appointment with Abi at Pakaloha Care for Saturday. I'm not thinking too clearly due to the pain and she explained the entire process step-by-step, and helped me gather all of the needed documentation and fix some errors. The completed application was submitted to the State on Monday. Today is Tuesday and I was able to download an electronic version of my card. All I can say to that is Sweet Relief! I can't recommend Abi at Pakaloha Care enough, for walking me through all of the steps with kindness and compassion. She also leaves the door wide open for follow-up questions and adjustments to dosing. If you fear applying for a 329 card will be complicated, I assure you she will ease your mind.
