Been to the Kapolei location many times but I was in the area and had to restock my supplies. This location has a big parking lot and it's very spacious. I got everything I needed and staff was very friendly. After trying several dispensaries on Oahu I think The Cure has the best edibles, and their flower has good freshness, taste and potency. it also very easy to select the product based on its strain (indica vs sativa) by color code on the menu. Cure is the most expensive dispensary in Hawaii, and the product isn't top quality. Sales discounts arrival on the old stuff they need to get rid of before it expires, and they charge an extra 5% on all sales, under the guise of state sales tax. They are the only ones who add tax. The local girls are cool, but they have quite a few mainland type personalities that I don't want to associate with. Was treated VERY rudely last time I went in. Employees very nice. Lots of parking. Never too too busy. Lots of space.......enough for a cafe. Update: They make you keep your e-scooter outside. Some let you bring it in and stick in a corner, others want you to keep it outside for the crack heads to steal. I understand that they don't want people to ride inside, but would be nice to store it inside.....especially since there is so much space there. They also tell you they are not responsible for it, but insist you keep it in an unsafe place. Door person says they will watch it....maybe watch it get stolen....lol. For this reason, I go to Noa most times even though Cure is closer. They let you store your bicycle/e-scooter inside while you are shopping. read more

I come here pretty regularly at least weekly. I normally stick to the concentrates because they are very discreet and very easy to use. i'm pretty sure you need to be a 329 compliant card holder to enter the building. I actually found out about this place through someone who worked there. A wonderful young lady came into my workplace wearing her uniform from cure. She kindly told me all about it and where it was located (right next to Taco Bell, how perfect) What's cool is every time you enter you can place your order on these big computer screens. Once you place your orders somebody lets you into a secure room which is where they give us the medication. They except cash only. But not to worry there is an ATM in the lobby. read more

Wow, did I just get ripped off!? Never had this happen to me in over 20 years, buying legally and illegally. AND this just happened, from a legal dispensary!!! My first and absolute last time coming here. Decided to try someplace different as Im always finding myself at NOA. This is on President Day as usual had Presidents Day Sale. Oz at 200. Cure had no sale. To make things worse they only had 1 Indica strain. "Small Flowers" 1oz for $300. Yup $300!!! I figured I'd take the plunge as I have the money in hand and already drove here. Now this is what I get upon opening. Small flowers...ok but not even trimmed...wtf. Ok seems like their trimmer did a lazy ass job. As a matter of fact it looks like they weighed out an ounce of bottom bud, did a half ass trim job and just took that trimmed leaf and placed it back in the original bag. WTF Cure Oahu! Updated 4/18 Decided to give this place another try and spoke with Shelby, who kindly responded to my past review. Honestly didn't expect much, but it ended up being a pleasant and positive second visit. Not much selection on this day as well as the other dispensary I visited. Not surprising as 4-20 is near. I came into Cure last weekend after leaving the gym in a hurry to make it before they closed. I walked in looking like a hot mess, they were so nice and offered me water! The building is really modern on the inside and the ordering is pretty easy on the kiosk. I was picking up some concentrates but couldn't decide. The two ladies that helped me were the nicest most knowledgeable girls about their products. They were super patient and answered all of my questions. I settled on the recommended Sorbet C02 cartridge and it was just perfect for my daytime medicating needs. This dispensary reminds me of the elite dispensaries in California. Okay, I'm a broken record but here goes for the 3rd time: I have now been to all 3 dispensaries on Oahu so I feel I can adequately review them. Out of all 3, Cure Oahu is my favorite! But that's not to say that I don't like the other two because I most definitely do! Each dispensary is great in their own right. Let's get down to why Cure is my favorite! As with Noa, parking is super convenient although it may seem tricky at first. The "front" of the dispensary facing Kapahulu is not actually its entrance. You must turn onto the road in between Cure and Taco Bell and park in the rear. Parking is free so no worries there! There are security cameras pretty evident in the parking lot alone so it made me feel pretty safe. The majority of the times I have come, the security guard opens the door for me (security cameras :P). One time I walked up, the doors were locked, but he quickly opened them for me. As with the others, he'll ask to see your MMJ card and ID. The lobby area is HUGE. There are 3 (?) kiosks I think where, if you have never been before, you can register yourself in their system with your MMJ card number. It also acts as your check-in every time you visit. Okay, so I LOVE technology and most of its advancements. Right now, you can order at the kiosk and pick up inside the dispensary (if there appears to be a long wait). Hopefully in the near future, they will offer online ordering for pick up at the dispensary. No worries, though, as their website is pretty current on their stock. They are a bit lacking with their social media presence, but that's okay. The very first time I visited, since there was a wait, one of the nice ladies offered me a bottled water while I waited. Thank you! When you finally get to the back, it's very small...only two cashier stations. But every time I have visited, everyone has been friendly and informational! You have to ask, but they do have information cards on their strains. One thing that really set them apart from the others is that all the product I purchased from them was plastic-sealed - so I knew that my product hadn't been opened before being packaged. I take a lot of comfort in that! The other dispensaries hand their product to you as-is so you have no idea how often it has been opened, touched, smelled, etc. I wish I could have tried their Pineapple strains but they sold out and don't plan on growing anymore. Major bummer. The only other downside is that, for me at least, this is the least convenient location of the 3. I despise driving to Waikiki unless I am getting paid by Uber or Lyft ha! Oh! They used to give a 5% discount if you paid with CanPay but as of October 1, 2018, they no longer do. Updated 7/15/18 Well, I've been to all 3 Honolulu dispensaries now. And, I find Cure to be one of my favorites. - Free Parking - a very nice parking lot at the old Bank of Hawaii building right next to Taco Bell at the corner of Kapahulu Ave. and Hunter St. - The Herb - is good to excellent and is priced accordingly (the most bang for my buck has been the Master Kush so far). The bottom shelf, cheaper strains are really not that bad either, if you have a low tolerance or just like to smoke a lot. I have a very high tolerance, yet i don't want to smoke a lot to get the relief I need (and I no like concentrates). So, I need the extra THC in their top shelf strains. [The problem I have with their flower is that they don't seem to have it dialed in yet with what seems like average lighting. I've also had flower here that was harvested too soon and/or cured a little too short. When this happens I have to put the flower in an air tight jar and cure it myself for a month. Not bad herb after some proper cure time. - The People - THIS is the thing I like most about this dispensary. I sense a connection with the peeps at this store. When I talk to them, I can tell that they have first hand experience with the strains they're recommending. So far, they've been the best out of all 3 stores to zero in on what I wanted/needed and then deliver me to the right strain for me, and with real honesty about the quality as well. Clients create accounts and check-in in the waiting area on large tablets, where all the products and info are listed. You can either browse and order there or visit the kiosk where the budtenders are. The woman who helped me at the kiosk was knowledgeable and sincere, and I love that Cure provides beautifully printed info cards for the strains you purchase. You're encouraged to take notes on the backs of the cards. On the third visit there, you'll receive a journal for storing your cards. Terrific place--will definitely be back! 2nd time here & for me though it's a little more distance than other locations...it's got ppl that are quick to help...& pretty good with info. I also like the program that gets me more meds...it's a credit thing...buy $100 in items & get credit & when $20 credit is reached it can be spent. First time paid $40 and this time $162 (I think) for $180 in goods...something like that. I look forward to a recycling vape program and maybe get $10 back....my only complaint is to implement that. I have nothing to write about the locked doors cuz they open it quick for me....so if that looks like a complaint it isn't cuz I just said so. So see I'm right again!! Heard that this dispensary was only after money....Visited the other two dispensaries first and found this one is to be my favorite. Prices are compatible to other 2 dispensaries by far. Not expensive at all if you are educated on the process of how each product is made which the staff is knowledgeable to educate you on each product your curious about. Waited until today to take advantage of the $50 off regular ounces "special". But, like always, when I got there they pulled a bait and switch. I chose a regularly priced ounce of Da Glue smalls, but was told the intentionally ambiguous use of the word 'regular', in the case, meant the "size of the flowers". After two years this dispensary still does not have a large variety of flower compared to the other two dispensaries. I don't believe that to bad thing at all since marijuana is not legally recreational yet. The THC content is on par with the other dispensaries less than 20%. The bud tender was on par and reminded me to use my loyalty points before the end of the year. The wait to get inside was out of the sun. Inside, the waiting area is bright and open. I think the background music volume could be a notch lower, only because we are now having to speak through masks and I, generally, don't like to speak loudly. 9lb hammer, Jack herrer, and mimosa flower were good. Didn't ash as white as I am used to, but most dispensary flowers I have had do not. I have one cartridge I did not get to use yet. But according to a recent newspaper article, Cure has less traceable amounts of ethanol and more in-line with mainland parameters (someone verify, please?). So hopefully it's like buying cartridges in LA or Vegas. read more
