I must agree with everyone else. First, the customer service is some of the best I've seen anywhere in a long time. All three men were very courteous, attentive, and friendly. Just great service. Second, the plants they have are in great shape, and very healthy. They have a fantastic selection of plants and have plenty of each. I drove all the way from Apache Junction in AZ, to see friends and buy some plants. Curby's was perfect. All of their plants were so much cheaper than anything in Phoenix or Temecula Lowes or Home Depot. What would be a $29.00 plant in Phoenix, was $14.50 at Curby's. I want to start off by saying what a welcoming experience. From the chip up beat tone of the guy who answers the calls (I want to say his name is Chris) To the moment I arrived and got out my car. Any and every employee that saw me made sure to say hi and welcome and asked if I needed any help with anything. This was a night and day experience I had with Moon river or Moon Valley nurseries (the one off Auld in murrieta) Even when I had the wagon I had with the plants I picked, a worker took it to my car while I was still checking out. Drive a little, save a lot. We drove from the Menifee to Temecula to buy some Little John Red Dwarf Bottlebrush plants from Curby's Nursery. I called earlier on a recent Saturday Morning and spoke to a friendly voice who advised me they stocked this shrub and it was selling for $13.50 for the 5 Gallon pot size. In comparison, the nation's #2 Big Box Home Improvement Store were advertising the same plant on their website for $12.98 for a 2.6 Quart size. As an added bonus, they were not in stock at any of their local store locations. We arrived at the Nursery and were warmly greeted by the staff. We were asked if we needed any help. We advised a gentleman what plant we were looking for. He walked with us to show us the plant's location. When we told hime we need to purchase eight plants, he quickly went to retrieve a garden cart for our convenience. He returned with the flatbed car and then helped us select eight healthy and great looking plants which was difficult to decide since all of the plants were great looking and healthy. While my wife went to the cashier's booth, the gentleman pushed the loaded cart back to our parked vehicle. I was so impressed with how much this nursery is customer service oriented. The gentleman asked me if I would like some plastic sheeting to line my vehicle's trunk. I really appreciated this since the area where we selected the plants was at the bottom of the nursery's hill(s) and a lot of water drained towards this area. After retrieving a piece of pre-cut new unused plastic sheeting, he carefully lined my trunk completely. He then carefully loaded all eight 5 gallon containers onto the sheeting. We drove off and planted our eight shrubs the same afternoon. We will definitely be purchasing all of our plants from Curby's Nursery. Great pricing and more importantly, great customer service! read more

Curbys nursery is a little heaven on earth! We grabbed ourselves a couple of house plants (sansevieria and rubber tree) before they opened their new house plant haven and we can't wait to go back and grab more. Also love that this is family owner and operated. Today was my first visit to the lovely Curby's Nursery in Temecula. The nursery, itself, is laid out in a very organized fashion and all plants looked healthy and cared for. There is a broad selection of many varieties and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. However, what is truly remarkable, and what set Curby's apart from most other nurseries, is the owner, Chris Curby. For weeks I had looked all over San Diego County for a particular plant, Coppertone Loquat in its bush form. I made many phone calls to nurseries that I knew well and some I didn't. Not only did no one have the plant, most staff did not know what I was talking about. Two nurseries said that they hadn't been able to get that plant in at least 15 years. But, then, a wholesaler referred me to Chris Curby. Immediately, he knew what I was talking about and said that he would be happy to order 5 of them for me. In just one week he called back and said he had received my plants. Wow! I will continue to work with Curby's when I add to my landscaping. I recommend them , highly. read more

I have been visiting this family owned and operated nursery for years and it just gets better with every visit! The staff is incredibly friendly. You will always find staff walking around and nicely asking if you need help. They greet you when you arrive and help you load up your car when you're done. A+ service! The plant selection is always on point. From trees, to houseplants to succulents they really have it all. The houseplant nursery is located up top of their property. Every time I have visited the greenhouse has been fully stocked with plants. Always something new!!! And always a huge verity to choose from. And honestly you can't really can't beat their prices!! I've been all over town looking for the best price on plants. This place has a good selection with better prices than Lowe's & Home Depot.
