Such a beautiful experience! Walking through and feasting your eyes on all of the different pieces created by artist, accompanied by the gorgeous flowers and succulents, is perfect for a sunny day. We moseyed around the garden and took in all of the creative art inspired by nature and were blown away by some of the designs. The staff was friendly and welcoming with the ability to answer any questions that you may have pertaining to the plants or art. We really enjoyed this walk-through, and I think it's one of the treasures that Temecula has to offer.

It was like walking through the "Land of Oz!" My cuz & I were doing some window shopping in downtown historic Temecula, and from across the street the enticing entrance caught my eye. My cuz told me that her brother was a huge fan of this store. That's all my ears had to hear...I was quickly crossing the street so I could look at everything!!!! We were immediately greeted by Rachael standing behind the counter with the most beautiful smile! She runs it with her mama Lorena who has owned it for 22 years. I really enjoyed all of the colorful planters, plants and garden accessories! She took the time to get to know us and tell us about some of the plants and how they grow. Very much appreciated!!!! Worth visiting this shop and I highly recommend taking your time perusing around the garden path from start to finish. Something wonderful was purposely placed/planted to be discovered by a potential buyer. We walked out with 4 plants that hopefully will blossom with our brown thumbs! Lol!!! Can't wait to go back. Have my eye on several ceramic angels with my name on them.

I highly recommend this garden shop. It's a family owned small business. They have so many different amazing plants and garden decor. The small plants in the front like "the pink lady turtle vine" and the "tigers jaw" would be on sale for like 2 for $10. The tigers jaws are beautiful succulents because they open and close depending on the position of the sun. It's pretty spectacular. Lorena is the owner and she's very sweet & kind. I stumbled upon this garden while walking my dog in Old Town and I met this kind young lady named Rachael working the counter. She sent me home with a free plant and told me to stop by and bring my dog anytime. We became really good friends and I spent a lot of time in this garden with her. Here are some moments I've captured during my time spent here... Rest in peace Rachael.

The Painted Garden by Lorena is worth the stop if you are visiting old town Temecula. I suggested to the worker that they should charge $1 to get in. The amazing art work built with everyday construction items mostly made from steal is absolutely beautiful. Practically everything is for sale in the garden. The small succulents are such a great price starting at $5, support small business!

Visited this store for the first time today and it was such a great experience. Stopped in with my sister and she convinced me to buy some beautiful succulents. Rachael was so amazing that she offered to repot my new plants ( I purchased some hand painted pots...absolutely gorgeous). Quality of products was excellent, customer service was a 20 out of 10!!! Will definitely return and also encourage you to stop by and experience this lovely expression of art.

Beautiful outdoor garden art. If you can't find it here, you aren't looking. My favorites are the lovely Buddha's and large, colorful metal flowers. I believe the photos I took speak for themselves.

This is my kinda place! Lots of garden decor. Succulents! Artsy. Reasonably priced. And lots of unique gift ideas for the garden lover. I could have easily spent a thousand dollars if I lived closer or had a vehicle to transport all the wonderful things they had. Loved walking around and seeing the different ways to display art and plants together. You should most definitely stop in and give it a look when in Old Town Temecula.

By far the best small owned garden I've ever been too. The woman who owns this place is incredibly knowledgeable and insanely kind!! I bough 2 succulents and she told me everything I needed to know to help them thrive. She even gave me a free plant from her ICU and a few free clippings (one was of a plant I've been searching for) She was so genuinely nice without any expectations back, a reminder of the good left in the world. She also had a super old ripped up book with beautiful pictures of succulents in it, I would die for it! But sadly the cover was ripped off. But she showed me what my plants would grow to be - went above andd beyond HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - I live in corona but will drive down for one of tthe hand painted pots in a few months. DREAMY

My first time at this spot and let me tell you.. I loved it.. as a plant girl myself this is a plant person/gardeners dream!! With so many authentic Mexican and Spanish styled items to choose from.. the garden itself looks amazing and then all the products make it look very unique and one of a kind. This was definitely a spot to check out when your in old town Temecula.

Every time I've come to Temecula, I've somehow not had a chance to stop by here. I've been missing out! Such a lovely open-air potted garden, which conveniently has plants for sale. If you enjoy having houseplants, you'll probably find yourself buying too many. And if you don't enjoy plants yet, you may find yourself starting to! Most of the pots have succulents and cacti of all sorts of varieties. There's a wide mix of garden art and colorful pots that are waiting for new plants. I'm especially a fan of the ant pieces. Even if I don't need new plants, I'll find a reason to stop by here.

Why did the chicken cross the road? To admire the beauty inside The Painted Garden, of course. My friend and I were headed to a winery and made a pit stop in Old Town Temecula. It was my first time here so we just had to walk through and see the treasures. This place is truly tranquil and beautiful. The burst of colors will bring joy to the young and young-at-heart alike. You MUST check out The Painted Garden. There is something for everyone here. Great spot to pick out a thoughtful gift for someone special or find a new addition to your home garden.

I think the best thing about Armstrong is that they still have pony packs, meaning six packs of plants. If you go to the big box stores now you can only buy one plant at a time for instance if I want a basil plant I can get six of them in a pony packet Armstrong whereas I would have to pay almost as much for just one at the big box stores. They have San Marzano tomato plants in the springtime. Need I say more? Those are very difficult to find! The last time I was here , I had ordered a umbrella online and the order was canceled due to the item being out of stock but I never received a notice telling me, but I never got one saying it was ready. He then kindly looked to see if they had any and stock and he said someone had returned one , if i wanted to come get it. He went out of his way to do that for me and search for one . I got to the store and I wanted to make sure that it wasn't returned for a specific reason , he offered to open it and that we could check together. Truth be told I'm blinder than a bat so I saw nothing with it . Then he said " wait it's ripped " and it totally was . Today I visited the store again and again the vibes are always so right in there with the employees !!!
