This is a small business offering big service. They have prepared meals that you pick up fresh or frozen. The instructions are included with the food. They have weekly specials in addition to their "normal" menu. The food is REALLY good and it makes dinner easy when you are in a pinch. We have some favorites that I get on a regular basis. Their Pampered Pig Ribs are the best ribs in Memphis. I know that is hard to believe but I'm telling you they are. My family loves them. They are meaty and moist and so so so tender. You don't have to worry about a bunch or fat or then being over cooked. I have gotten them 15+ times and have never had a problem. We also love their turkey meatloaf. I just found out about this place a couple of months ago, and I've now ordered from them 3 times. Every time I go to pick up my order, there is a line down the street because they are so popular!! This isn't a sit down restaurant, but a drive up window where you can pick up pre-made and frozen meals to bring home. Order ahead online or order at the window. They are only open 3 days a week - Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. But, you can order online the morning that you want to pick up food, and they are usually ready with your order in an hour or two. They have several main meals made every week as well as weekly specials. Most of their casseroles also come in three different sizes (small, medium, or large) depending on how many people you are feeding. Also, there are very clear cooking instructions on every casserole. Favorites that I have tried: - Almond Chicken (their main seller, and you will see why when you taste this delicious meal. On top of a bed of rice, this creamy chicken dish with almonds in it is sooooo good!!) - Chicken Spaghetti - Chicken and dumplings (not a regular menu item, but if they have this on their weekly special, I highly recommend) - Cheesy mac side - Loaded cauliflower side Most of the dishes come frozen, so you can buy a bunch to stock up your kitchen and just eat all week! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I live in an apartment that has terrible ventilation so I rarely get to cook in it. Whenever I want something that tastes home cooked and comforting, I will be going to curb side from now on to fulfill those cravings. It is true, southern home cooking and delicious (not so much friendly on the waist line though). Everything is delicious, I especially loved the meatloaf (not pictured because I ate it too quickly oops): it was so meaty and hearty, the tomato sauce was perfectly balanced, and it paired well with the potatoes. YES YES YES!!!! Curb Side, you are my new best friend. So last night I had a gentlemen friend stop by for dinner, and since I don't cook, I was in quite the bind. I am one of those people that can mess up boiling water...Seriously. Unless there are explicit instructions, chances are I am going to mess it up somehow...heck, even if there ARE detailed instructions. And I wasn't going to order a pizza. That just wasn't even an option (even though it is what I would normally do). Well, if you are a girl like me, have no fear. They tell you EXACTLY what to do, honey. Even I was impressed with how easy it was. So what all did I get? Shrimp and grits, spinach madeliene, garlic bread, salad, and one seriously incredible strawberry cake. And all I had to do was pop some of it in the oven. And all of that for just under $60. If you were at a restaurant you would have spent WAY over that and it tasted better than any restaurant probably would. So long story short, Curb Side will be seeing a lot of me. This is the place for a home cooked roast We followed directions and it has the best seasoning and moistness that was needed 2 were served from this dish with some left over. Saturday afternoon after killing some balls at the driving range (and a few 100-yard distant markets) I decided to drop by this quaint place and pick up some lunch grub for the weekend. I've eaten dinner food from CSC in the past and it was pretty good but not great. This day on chose to pick up some chicken salad, pimento spread (AKA pimento cheese), and some KILLER firecrackers (they're so magical). I thought the chicken salad was good (some might say it is a little dry) and the pimento spread was good as well. The firecrackers, however, were OFF THE CHAIN good. Wow. They were money. One of Memphis' BEST GEMS, Curbside Casseroles is AWESOME!! My aunt had eye surgery yesterday and was staying with me overnight so I needed a quick dinner option. I found CC online then called to place an order. Their staff was so friendly & helpful with menu suggestions. They even offered to thaw my casserole so it would be ready for heating once I got home!
