Berry protein shake was good, but be prepared for slow service. Service is nice and friendly, but this is not a quick service place, if that's something that bothers you. We're staying across the lot at Matterhorn Inn, so we stopped here for coffee yesterday - and are back today! This is a spacious coffee shop with really good dark chocolate mocha's. My son loved his milk chocolate hot chocolate. For both drinks you can choose what kind of chocolate you want. They guy is also very nice and attentive. Definitely a great find! read more

This was our last day in Sedona and the best coffee we had in Arizona overall. The barista was super friendly and helpful with making suggestions based on what we might like. She was attentive and very nice. She made our lattes one at a time and brought it over to our table. She asked if we liked it and needed anything else. My sister had the pistachio latte and she enjoyed hers as well. Our barista was super sweet but the espresso was not good. The atmosphere was interesting with lots of plants, but most of the artwork depicted Indigenous people, but was created by and profiting only white folks. Would have been significantly better and more welcoming to feature actual indigenous artists and craftsmen or have some form of give back for the inspiration they had on the artist and the space. Off the beaten path, definitely better coffee and espresso in Sedona. Possibly worth the trip for cafe hoppers and drip coffee drinkers. read more

Great find. The coffee was excellent, and sitting outside in the sun on a chilly 60 degree day was delightful. Our only negative was that we arrived behind a group of 7 teens, and it took a while to get our coffee (only one barista). But, that being said, the coffee (lattes) were really good. (The bathroom wasn't the cleanest, but well stocked) We'd all come back for coffee again. Recommended. read more

Tip: make sure to check current hours before you get too excited about going there because they are not your average business hours (example: they were closed on Tuesdays when we were there in winter, and they close at 2pm daily). Maybe it was an off morning, but my bagel was hard and tasteless. And they did not have any butter, which is disappointing for a coffee shop that serves bagels and pastries. My hot latte with honey and cinnamon was not great - bitter and bland at the same time. Staff was super nice, but only one server on a Saturday morning and she looked clearly overworked. We were really thankful to find Theia's for a quick coffee break. Their iced coffee was fine, nothing mindblowing, but for sure satisfied the thirst after a warm day. We decided to get an herbal tea blend without caffeine which was uniquely tasty. The staff is super-friendly and actually encourages you to dawdle and just spend some time there, and the space is very large and arranged very well w lots of varied seating choices. The owner gave us a little history on the building and area and then offered us to take a bunch of yummy treats for free. On top of it all the place is full of great local art and crafts that are for sale, if you're looking to pass some time there's a selection of well-thumbed books and magazines. Gah it pains me when other Yelp reviews lead me astray... I get that most places are "slower paced" compared to the big cities/Northeast. However, waiting over 20 minutes for just 4 orders straight from the menu (only 1 customization) without any explanation in an EMPTY shop is ridiculous! We came here to take refuge from the bitter winds (perhaps Vortexes?) swirling in the city as it was undeservedly highly rated on Yelp. Also very strange to note that they left the door wide open the whole time... It appeared that the owner, or the main person in the shop was training a new teenage employee/relative. He just stood there not making eye contact with us waiting for us to recite our orders for several minutes, until I told him that we are all paying separately. The female supervisor instructed him to ring up all our orders before they started on any of our orders. That should have been our first warning sign. I ordered a medium chai latte -- such a fall staple. Friends ordered: Small Hot Chocolate and Dirty Chai Latte. One of my friends ordered a cappuccino and she substituted milk with soy -- it tasted so bitter and gross! I suspect the biggest bottleneck was their confusion with her order and redos, since we all received our orders a good 10 minutes before hers. We didn't mind taking refuge in their cozy seating area with a small bookcase and eclectic artwork. However, as 15 minutes passed and my friend still hadn't received her order nor any acknowledgement from the staff we grew weary that we were going to miss the Sunset Lookout at the airport (and we definitely did). My order was tasty, however the prices along with everything in Sedona are on the pricier side. I don't mind paying extra if it also includes good service. I wish we just stayed on the main street and went to another coffee/tea shop instead for our hot beverage needs. read more

I also had the carrot cake muffin and she had a blueberry muffin, both were scrumptious. They place is peaceful, well decorated and has some beautiful art on the walls.
