I got my BF a specially made b-day cake that was chocolate with peanut butter frosting. Adorable custom decorations!! And #&*$#&*#*#. One of the most delicious cakes I have every tasted. Everyone at the party was just flummoxed by how good it was. Then I told them it was vegan, they about lost their minds. Everyone agreed it was freaking amazing no matter what! Well, for my birthday, the BF returned the favor and got ME a bday cake. The decorations were just beyond adorable (she does very custom work for every order). It's the about the bread…read more.. Cardinali's is a 'no-frill' Italian bakery. Stop in the store, there's not much here ... just fresh carbs. I used to shop here weekly for my grandmother. I hated hiking the extra two blocks for bread -- did not appreciate or understand it at the time. Only after I moved from Kenosha, did I realize the addictive powers of an amazing fresh-sliced round loaf. Anyone that enjoys bread and/or needs to take a break from the store-bought trendy 2000-grain breads ... break off a piece of the round.
