I also figured out I paid more for the dress than the original tag price from the designer. Very frustrating experience.

After calling all over the state of WI and norther IL, Victorian Bridal offered me the best price and quickest shipping for my bridal gown. They even offered a discount on my veil as part of a promotion. When my dress arrived a few months later, I went to my first appointment at VB for a fitting. The building is very unassuming, but trust me when I say this is a store of true professionals. I had my dress altered at VB, and subsequently came back three more times (driving all the way from Chicago where I live). Their staff is courteous, professional, and reasonably priced. In the end, my bridal gown fit me perfectly after their expert alterations! I highly recommend VB if you live anywhere in the Central WI area. Even if you don't it's worth the trip!

She insisted that I was a size 4 and that the dress would fit fine. When I received the dress in the mail 6 months later, it was HUGE. When I called to see if the dress could be exchanged, the company was not willing to work with me at all and told me to get it altered. Now I'm looking at having to spend an extra $150 dollars on a $200 dress because the consultant insisted I was wrong about my size. Extremely unhappy with this company, disappointed with their customer service, and would highly, highly recommend you go with anyone else.

Each time I came in to drop my dress off or try it on she never communicated with me. I never felt comfortable in the store because of that. During the final fitting we still had to take it in just a bit, she told me she would have it done in the same day but never called me again to come get it. 3 days later I finally just called and them she didn't even know if it was done or not. They charged us $162 for tuxes. The best man went to pick up the tux and charged him an extra $31 and told him he was wrong and he just put a down payment down. 3. The father of the groom went to get fitted and they hadn't saved what kind of suit vest we picked out. 4. One groomsmen went to call in his measurement and the lady told him he must go online and send in his measurements since he lived out of state. He lives in Wisconsin. 5. The fittings were wrong. They told the best man there was nothing they could do if it didn't fit. My mother in law had to call the manager and told her that the best man just misunderstood. 6. They sent the wrong ties. For my wedding we had plum ties for our wedding that the colors were maroon and navy. Please save yourself the stress and go anywhere but here.
