I haven't been to what I'd call a real arcade since I was like 11, and I will absolutely say this place is a real arcade. It felt like I was stepping back into the places I went to in the '90s, and it was weirdly the most at home I've felt in years. The price was $20 for the whole day, and all the games activated by just hitting the start button. The cabinets are in impeccable condition, and the woman working there today was so chill and friendly. I'll be going back very, very frequently. Thanks back to the arcade for an experience I haven't had in over 20 years. You guys rule.

Twenty bucks gets you in as long as you want; just hit the start button on whatever game you're into and that's it. My favorite of the many pinball machines is the JAWS game. Iron Maiden's pinball game is a close second, though. If you're a Pac-Man fan, then you owe it to yourself to visit this place. They have a row of games from this series, including my favorite, Ms. Pac-Man. Also, a couple of Mortal Kombats, Q-Bert, NBA Jam, an air hockey table, a basketball game, a Skee-Ball, and hybrid basketball-Skee-Ball game. And the condition of the games is excellent; the owner and employees routinely wipe everything down. You don't feel like you're placing your hands on surface that's already been touched by a hundred others before the last cleaning. If you're an arcade fan, a pinball fan, or just looking to kill a few hours with twenty bucks, you must visit.

Even if you're not local, it's about an hour and a half drive from us and it was absolutely worth it. Picture this: you step inside a life-sized holographic North Pole, wearing lightweight AR glasses, tossing virtual snowballs, collecting ornaments, helping Santa save Christmas, and discovering festive surprises along the way. It's part game, part holiday movie, and all-around magical. From their website: "Deck the Holograms is a family-friendly augmented reality adventure that transports you inside a life-sized holographic North Pole...an unforgettable shared experience for families, friends, and believers of all ages." Yup, it's exactly that -- and it totally lives up to the hype. We did the experience as a pair, and it was so much fun together. Plus, we got 3 hours of free arcade play included with our tickets for $34.99 per person, which honestly feels like a steal. We even spent a little time in the arcade before jumping into the AR adventure, which was a nice warm-up. The story itself was surprisingly thoughtful -- it made us reflect on being present in the moment during the holidays instead of getting lost in our phones. It's playful, immersive, and yes, totally enjoyable for 40+ year olds too. Plenty of parking, plenty of space to move around, and the whole experience is cozy and warm inside -- perfect for a chilly December night. We booked our tickets from the parking lot on the last Friday before Christmas and had no trouble snagging the 8pm time slot we wanted. Overall, it's a low-impact, warm, immersive, and joyful way to celebrate the season. If you're looking for something different, memorable, and just plain fun, do yourself a favor and check out Deck The Holograms -- you won't regret it!

They are growing (still growing) company that cares about the community. I have met the owner and seen his vision. He is there from time to time and interacts with his patrons. The staff is really friendly. Now the only downside is the current location. I was there and didn't have a spot to play on a Friday night but that isn't the stores fault. Everyone had their own little groups and pods so as someone who is alone I feel out of place and had to sit at the cafe. The bright side is they are moving to a bigger location if I heard that right so I am excited for the team and company. To sum up the location it's a place you can play video games. You can rent a room/theatre lounge for private events/gathering. You can rent a computer/consoles to play. You can join a community to play card games, they even have board games to use. Are there better places to play pinball? Maybe. Okay, yes…read more Assuredly. But I drove hundreds of miles out of my way just to come here and play pinball. Why? They have a Rick & Morty machine. Thank you Pinball Maps for leading the way! The hardest part about playing pinball here is finding an entrance to the dead/dying mall in which it's located. The anchor stores are mostly closed. The mall road encircling the building is in disrepair. Signage isn't great. But once inside I appreciated the low level of lighting to minimize any glare on the glass. The machines were loud enough to hear all the call outs, which is also not always the case. I have to say, I've never been a fan of the swipe card system of payment. And I prefer arcades where there is an on staff attendant. However when I had an issue with one of the machines, I saw there was a number to text, so I put it to the test. Almost instantly I was in touch with a person who was able to remotely turn off the broken machine and put replacement credits on my swipe card. That's great service, especially considering the person was remote. They said they would be in the next morning to fix the machine. And guess what? They were! I probably should have let him know that the switch in the Rick and Morty garage did not seem to be functional. But the last thing I wanted was for that machine to go off line. I'd rather play a slightly befouled version of that game than not get to play at all. Anyhow, consider yourself lucky if you live within the area. Finding someone who takes pride in their machines, is harder than one might imagine. There's a good mix of new and old tables, all for a dollar a pop. Certainly this is way more fun than those other blinking lights, bells, and whistles at the casino in town. One can either throw their money down the toilet, or scrape together a few quarters and learn the ins and outs of pinball. Just make sure not to come hungry. The food court in the mall is a bit of a ghost town. But fortunately Old Forge Pizza is just a short drive away.

While it was a fun time together, and we spent a few hours bowling, the atmosphere was rather run down and outdated. The shoes were overly worn, and frayed, having seen much better days. The place was not crowded at all which was nice in a way of not being crowded with social distancing in place... but on the other hand it was disheartening as I remember it being one of THE places to be. If you're interested in a quiet and slower pace without worrying about aesthetics, give it a go as it will definitely be what you're looking for as we had a wonderful time and experienced no difficulties with the equipment. Everything ran smoothly and the customer service was friendly. If you're needing something that's aesthetically pleasing in your surroundings, I'd suggest seeking an alternative so you're not detracting from an otherwise positive experience.
