The place was so clean and friendly and very welcoming. I can tell you now that I would give them more stars if I could. They knew their stuff and were very knowledgeable, and I was in and out in a timely manner. Even though their were 2 people ahead, they ran through so smoothly and instructed me how the wheel chair works I am very impressed and glad we were able to get this chair because my wife really needed it. I got there at 1215, and I was out by 1250. They said Saturdays are not usually that busy, but I joked, and told them we are coming in like swarms to make sure they are not in a food coma from Thanksgiving, and both of them, plus the two guests laughed. I guess I'm pretty funny. Maybe being a "sit-down" comedian is a possible route in my near future. Thanks, Jackson Medical, for everything. I'd give you more than 5 stars if I could. He seemed really helpful Unfortunately, after that initial conversation, I had a really difficult time getting any follow-up. I tried reaching Joe several times over the course of a few weeks and left around five messages without receiving a call back. Eventually, I was able to connect with one of the technicians, Ethan, who was great and got everything sorted out for me pretty quickly. Everyone I spoke with was kind and friendly, and I really appreciated Ethan's help. The biggest issue was communication and follow-through. There seemed to be a lack of communication internally, and because I had to repeatedly reach out myself, the process took much longer than it should have. I'm grateful that we ultimately got the wheelchair taken care of, but I do think their communication and follow-up could be significantly improved.

I have had the best experience with Active Medical…read more My mom, who has trouble walking, needed help to travel to Massachusetts to attend my son's graduation ceremony. When I took my mom to Active Medical, Greg stayed in late for us and patiently helped us pick the right sized wheelchair. Greg also allowed my dad, who has backpain, to try out a scooter in case he needed help to walk as well. Right before the travel day, Greg let me pick up the wheelchair one day before the scheduled date, to save me a trip. Also, Active Medical provided me with a brand-new wheelchair when I explained that I was taking my parents to attend a graduation ceremony. This wheelchair had made it possible for my mom to attend my son's graduation and we are grateful for the outstanding service from Active Medical.

More than once they quoted me a co-pay which I then paid, and they later said it was wrong, and my co-pay was significantly higher. After the second time, I took it up with the corporate office, and was told by Kim something or other that, "they have no legal obligation to let you know what the co-pay is going to be." She didn't seem to care at all that I was billed 300 more dollars than I was expecting. They will also call you and hound you about purchasing more supplies. I specifically asked for my phone number to be taken off the list for that, which they told me that they did, but they actually didn't. I would avoid doing business with corner home medical if at all possible.
