We discovered Hopkins Center Drug 17 years ago when we first moved to Minnesota with daughters age…read more11 and 15. Even though the original owners retired and Chris has taken over ownership , it still feels and looks the same. There are less than a handful of these rare fine highly personal pharmacies left within 25 miles of downtown Minneapolis. What makes them special is they are more cautious where and from whom they purchase their lower priced generic drugs -- unlike the monster SUPER cost cutting Walgreens and CVS! AND THEIR PRICES ARE LOWER ‼Walgreens sells ONLY ONLINE the below mentioned ointment for $13.50 and CVS sells it only online for $12.50. Hopkins Drug sells it for just $10.59 and its ON THE SHELF. These fast disappearing " mom and pop" stores truly get to know you and your family on all levels. A highly knowledgeable pharmacist who genuinely knows their customers can oftentimes be a huge help in times of stress and severe illness. I came down with the horrifying Norovirus which can last 2-5 days. After 48 hours of non- stop diarrhea I found myself in unspeakable pain and remembered my father's 1950's old home remedy that was ALWAYS in our medicine cabinet -- NUPERCAINAL ointment. I called aaaalllll the pharmacies within 35 miles and ONLY HOPKINS CENTER DRUG had it on their shelf‼ no other pharmacy even carried it! This ointment works 100 % in relieving the pain caused by the many hours of tissue exposure to acid-- my beloved U of Mn internist told me today his daughter's school closed for 80 children caught the Norovirus . ( keep reapplying to affected areas wash hands well) ( dad was a 30 year professor of biochemistry at a med school in NYC). Hopkins Drug carries many many old trusted long used very hard to find remedies. They still also carry their wonderful fun gifts as well. The only other pharmacy I have found with as equal and expansive inventory of useful medical over-the-counter remedies is Eagle Drug in Rochester across fr Mayo.

This little independent pharmacy is my neighborhood drug store. App for easy rx refills,…read morepharmacists on site with time to answer questions. Prompt rx fills and refills. A decent selection of basic OTC supplies. Very well curated cards and gifts, perfect for picking up a last minute hostess present. Love this drug store!

I initially called Tactile Medical in Phoenix and they were responsive. They provided a…read morerepresentative's number, and the rep came to my home to demonstrate the lymphedema therapy machine. The demonstration went well, and I was interested in moving forward. However, after that visit, communication completely stopped. I have tried multiple times to follow up: * Calling the number the rep left * Leaving voicemails * Sending emails * Calling the main line again No one has returned my calls or emails. I still have no idea if my insurance approved the device or what the next steps are. This lack of follow-through after their rep invested time in the demo is very frustrating and has delayed my ability to get treatment for my lymphedema. I expected better support from a medical device company. Other patients considering Tactile Medical should be aware that getting a timely response after the initial contact can be difficult.

I am absolutely furious with Tactile Medical. What they have put me through is completely shady and…read morebad practice! Scam tactics that ruin vulnerable people. Their salesperson came into our home and repeatedly PROMISED us that their medical device was 100% covered by insurance and would cost us NOTHING! They would even make sure of it. We questioned them several times because we were concerned about unexpected charges. They assured us over and over that we would not owe a penny and that they would verify everything with insurance. They would not disclose the full price of the equipment. Weeks later they called to confirm the address for shipping the device and I asked if insurance was sorted and they said yes all is covered. They did not offer a written estimate of what we might owe or have us sign an agreement to pay full price as written. (Foreshadow here: they in fact did not get it even halfway sorted with my insurance at this time.) So they ship it to me and say its super important for their own representative to our home to OPEN the equipment, demonstrate it, and fit it. And when did we finally receive this outrageous bill? AFTER THEIR 60-DAY RETURN PERIOD HAD EXPIRED! How convenient! By the time we discovered we supposedly owed $7,500, we apparently broke the unopened-box + 60day return requirements for refund. I WOULD NEVER HAVE ACCEPTED THIS DEVICE IF WE HAD BEEN TOLD THE TRUTH ABOUT THE POTENTIAL COST! This company deals with people who have medical conditions and need help. To make promises about insurance coverage, leave patients completely in the dark about their financial responsibility, and then hit them with a massive bill is absolutely life ruining! TACTILE MEDICAL, CANCEL THIS BILL AND TAKE YOUR EQUIPMENT BACK! I wouldn't recommend this company to ANYONE. If you're considering using Tactile Medical, PLEASE BEWARE! These practices put them into hot water before and I won't stop until I can return.
