In 2022 I was diagnosed with cancer, and around that same time the overall condition and management of the property began to decline. We started experiencing issues such as packages and mail being stolen, my son's bike going missing, animal waste left around the property, and frequent problems with the main garage door and building access doors. Management also changed multiple times during this period, and the outdoor common areas were often dominated by the same group of residents, making the environment feel more like a college dorm than the "luxury" community it is advertised to be. Another inconvenience was the layout of the property -- depending on where your unit is located, you may have to walk across the entire complex just to dispose of garbage. Because of my medical condition and the environment no longer being conducive to recovery, we requested permission to move early. We were initially told this would be allowed. However, after additional management changes and a change in Brady Sullivan's in-house counsel, the situation took a very different turn. Brady Sullivan has now placed a negative mark on my credit report for approximately four months of alleged rent, which is currently preventing my family from relocating to another state where we had planned to move. When asked to provide documentation showing that the unit remained vacant during that time, they have refused to provide proof. Additionally, I am being held financially responsible for a kitchen fire that occurred while we lived there, even though the fire department did not determine that the fire was caused by tenant negligence. Overall, my experience with Brady Sullivan has been extremely disappointing. The company publicly promotes charitable contributions to cancer-related causes, yet in my experience showed little compassion or professionalism toward a tenant who was undergoing cancer treatment at the time. Communication with their current in-house counsel, Jesse LaFlemme, was particularly concerning. When I attempted to explain the circumstances surrounding my medical condition and the dispute, the conversation was handled in a dismissive and unprofessional manner. At this point I have filed complaints with the Rhode Island Attorney General's office, the Better Business Bureau, and have reached out to members of the Rhode Island legislature regarding the matter. I strongly encourage prospective tenants to research the property management company carefully before signing a lease.

His kind, personable nature has made this stressful process so easygoing and I cannot thank him enough for all the help he has provided to my family and I. Customer Service is something that truly matters and he really created such a wonderful environment when it came to asking questions, the in's and out's of everything, updates via email and helping us with important documentation all while doing the process with our children. It really was because of him we chose to make the choice to step into this new chapter of our lives and we are beyond grateful. We look forward to our renting experience and will provide an update!! Review of Greenwich Place Apartments - West Warwick, Rhode Island…read more I have lived at Greenwich Place Apartments for several years, and my experience under current management has steadily declined. Anyone considering apartments in West Warwick should be aware of ongoing concerns related to maintenance, safety, parking, and rising costs. Property upkeep is inconsistent, with broken glass and trash frequently left around the grounds. Lawn chemicals are also applied without clear notice despite the complex advertising itself as pet-friendly. Winter maintenance is a recurring safety concern. Walkways and entrances are often not adequately cleared during storms, making buildings difficult to safely access. After reporting that we could not enter our building following a blizzard, I received an email criticizing residents as ungrateful. Similar conditions occur during most storms, and I previously sprained my ankle on icy, poorly maintained walkways. Safety communication is inconsistent as well. Quarterly fire alarm testing regularly occurs without reliable advance notice, leaving residents unsure whether alarms indicate an emergency or routine testing. Several large projects, including window replacements and front door "overhauls," were completed during winter months. The door project removed standard handle locks and left only deadbolts, and months later many buildings still have temporary paper door numbers instead of permanent fixtures. Parking availability and enforcement remain major issues. Parking stickers were introduced with minimal notice and immediately enforced for residents, yet unstickered vehicles, commercial vans, and cars parked in fire lanes or handicap spaces without placards remain common due to limited parking. Management has threatened towing related to snow removal while allowing other vehicles to block multiple spaces and even interfere with mail delivery, resulting in inconsistent enforcement. Residents who raise concerns may face negative responses rather than resolution. Complaints have resulted in discussions about ending leases, and there have been confrontational interactions involving staff and residents in common areas and parking lots, including incidents serious enough to involve police response. There appears to be frequent turnover among office and support staff below upper management, leading to inconsistent communication and difficulty resolving concerns. Maintenance staff, however, have consistently been professional and helpful. Rent has increased substantially -- from approximately $1,735 in 2019 to around $2,400 today -- not including shared water/sewer billing or mandatory trash services. Shared utilities mean a single occupant may pay similar costs as much larger households. Over five years, the only apartment upgrades were replacements after equipment failure, including the hot water heater and heat pump, along with window replacements and door repainting (not new doors). Major appliances, carpeting, and most fixtures remain original despite continued rent increases. While allowing dogs is a positive feature, inconsistent enforcement of pet policies contributes to ongoing noise and cleanliness concerns. Overall, Greenwich Place Apartments benefits from location but ongoing safety concerns, inconsistent enforcement, limited upgrades, and rising costs make it difficult to recommend compared to other apartment options in West Warwick and surrounding Rhode Island communities.

I am currently in my 4th lease at Shorewood Apartments and I couldn't be happier. I lived down the…read morestreet at Windsor and Brentwood and have looked into other complexes in the North Providence area. Shorewood made me a little embarrassed I had been spending so much money. At Windsor I had lived in a one bedroom and a two bedroom apartment. The two bedroom was the same sq footage (660) and the one bedroom except for the extra bedroom. At Shorewood I moved into a two story apartment! two bedroom 1.5 bathroom (this is two floors too!) twice the space. I went from 660 sq ft to just under 1100 sq ft. for $120 more. For that $120 Shorewood includes Heat AND Hot Water in their pricing which most complexes in this area do not. What was also appealing to me is Shorewood has a pool which does not incur a $500 per year amenity fee. Yes they have a hot tub and gym at Windsor but the gym is so small that only one person can work out comfortably at a time, hot tub is like warm at best. The maintenance and leasing staff at Shorewood is better too. Having recently changed hands twice, we finally have a leasing agent that promptly returns phone calls, maintenance staff the works around the clock to keep the grounds beautiful and tenants happy. I left Windsor at Brentwood due to pricing and because I had a family of squirrels living in my ceiling. I called up the chain of command telling everyone for 5 Months. No one ever followed up and when my lease was up I just left. At Shorewood, you can put in a work order or request without someone following up or fixing it within 12 hours or so. There was a rodent infestation last fall but the property owners spared no expense handling the situation and I haven't seen a rat since a little after thanksgiving. This of course can all be avoided by tenants picking up after their dogs and not leaving trash on front of the dumpsters. There are plenty of dumpsters around the property, None of them should ever be overflowing. It is not the Shorewood staffs job to go around making sure tenants know how to the trash away. It's actually embarrassing to have such sloppy and careless neighbors. Until tenants respect the property, Shorewood will not get the credit it deserves. Definitely the best return for your money in the North Providence area.

We came to Rhode Island just before covid hit and we landed at Shorewood apartments. We loved our…read moreapartment it was the duplex with the two bedrooms on the second floor in the living room dining kitchen on the 1st. We had a little bit of land and back so we made little deck we had a cute little raised garden and back and we loved it there. Maintenance is super quick to respond. I highly recommend living here for a time.
